I dagens skola möter läraren elever med skilda språkliga förutsättningar som alla ska ges möjlighet att delta i en inkluderande undervisning där läs- och skrivutveckling står i fokus. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka undervisningsmetoder verksamma lärare använder sig av för att främja inkludering samt läs- och skrivutveckling hos elever med språkstörning i ämnet svenska. Utgångspunkten för studien är det sociokulturella perspektivet. Studien bygger på empiri som samlats in genom ett kvantitativt frågeformulär som besvarats av 89 lärare samt ett kvalitativt frågeformulär som besvarats av fem lärare. Det insamlade materialet från den kvantitativa undersökningen har analyserats genom en univariat analys och det kvalitativa materialet genom en tematisk analys. Utifrån det sociokulturella perspektivet har empirin analyserats utifrån begreppen medierande redskap och scaffolding.  Studiens resultat presenteras grafiskt och skriftligt i form av bilder samt citat. Resultatet av studien visar att lärare använder flertalet olika undervisningsmetoder i syfte att främja inkludering samt läs- och skrivutveckling hos elever med språkstörning. Digitala verktyg, kooperativa övningar och strategier för stöttning är exempel på några av de undervisningsmetoder lärare använder i syfte att inkludera elever med språkstörning. Gällande lärares undervisningsmetoder för att främja läs- och skrivutveckling är visuellt stöd och utveckling av ordförråd, enligt studiens resultat, exempel på undervisningsmetoder som lärare använder för att stötta elever med språkstörning. Slutsatsen av denna studie är att lärare, i syfte att främja inkludering använder bland annat digitala verktyg, kooperativa övningar samt strategier för stöttning. Visuellt stöd och utveckling av ordförråd är enligt studiens slutsats exempel på undervisningsmetoder som lärare använder för att gynna läs-och skrivutveckling hos elever med språkstörning i svenskundervisningen. / In today's school, many teachers are working with students with different linguistic conditions, all of whom must be given the opportunity to participate in inclusive teaching where reading and writing development is the focus. The purpose of this study is to investigate which teaching methods teachers use to promote inclusion and reading and writing development in students with language impairment in the subject of Swedish. The theoretical perspective for the study is the socio-cultural perspective. The study is based on empirical data collected through a quantitative questionnaire answered by 89 teachers and a qualitative questionnaire answered by five teachers. The collected material from the quantitative survey has been analyzed through a univariate analysis and the qualitative material through a thematic analysis. Based on the socio-cultural perspective, the empirical evidence has been analyzed based on the concepts of mediating tools and scaffolding.   The results of the study are presented graphically and in writing in the form of pictures and quotes. The results of the study show that teachers use the majority of different teaching methods in order to promote inclusion and reading and writing development in students with language disorders. Digital tools, cooperative exercises and strategies for support are examples of some of the teaching methods that teachers use with the aim of including students with language disorders. Teachers' teaching methods to promote reading and writing development are visual support and vocabulary development, according to the results of the study, examples of teaching methods that teachers use to support students with language disorders. The conclusion is that teachers use digital tools, cooperativ learing and strategies for support, among other things, in order to promote inclusion.  According to the study's conclusion, visual support and vocabulary development are examples of teaching methods that teachers use to promote reading and writing development in students with language impairment in Swedish education.
