Syntaktick analza zaloen na multigenerovn / Parsing Based on Multigeneration

Kleiner, Milo January 2010 (has links)
Multygeneratic system is based on cooperation action of infinity count of context-free grammars. All this context free-grammars parallel and synchronous derivate individual sentential form. During generation came in each specific derivation step to checking of correction of each generated sentential forms. This checking can be made by different ways. Solution is then so-called multistring (vector of strings), so by the help of this is defined generated language.

Validity of Self-Reported Data on Seat Belt Use: The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System.

Samples, Agnes Mary Banks 01 May 2004 (has links) (PDF)
Personal lifestyle and behavior are associated with the 10 leading causes of death for Americans. Motor vehicle crashes kill more than 40,000 people and injure more than 3 million people annually in the United States, representing one of America's most serious health and economic problems. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), someone in America is injured in a motor vehicle crash every 14 seconds and someone is killed every 12 minutes (as cited in Ad Council, 2003). It is widely accepted that increased use of safety belts and reductions in driving while impaired are two of the most effective means to reduce the risk of death and serious injury of occupants in motor vehicle crashes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and NHTSA monitor the use of seat belts by surveying the population. The CDC annually conducts a telephone survey called the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). The NHTSA conducts an observational survey called the National Occupant Protection Use Survey (NOPUS). The purpose of this study was to examine three questions when estimating safety belt use in the United States: (1) Does the BRFSS differ from NOPUS? (2) Is there regional variation in the differences between BRFSS and NOPUS? (3) Do BRFSS and NOPUS data differ significantly depending on whether the safety belt law is primary, secondary, or none? In this study, the two surveys were compared. Three research hypotheses were tested in the null format at the .05 level of significance using a two-tailed test. The z test was used to determine the difference in the nominal data of the two independent proportions. The results of the study revealed that there is a difference between the self-reported BRFSS survey and the NOPUS observational data.

Dedzoe, William Kokou 30 November 2011 (has links) (PDF)

Lauzier, Matthieu 03 April 2015 (has links)
The technological evolutions which have taken place for the last decades allowed the emergence of new application fields, such as the wireless monitoring of physiological parameters collected on the human body, with the development of Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs, or BANs). Mostly dedicated to the medical domain and the improvement of the patients' comfort and safety, this kind of platforms more recently extended to other kinds of activities, such as sports and leisures. According to the applicative context, the hypotheses and constraints associated to these networks can vary drastically, yielding the necessity of developing adapted communication mechanisms. The works presented in this thesis have focused on the realization of data collection platforms for mobile sports applications. In a first part, we concentrate on the individual data collection, for which we give a proof of concept in the context of a Marathon race, before aiming at a better understanding of individual channel models and cooperative mechanisms for on-body data centralization. In a second part, we are interested in dense and mobile networks consisting in an important number of coexisting BANs. Our aim is to propose distributed algorithms based on consensus to allow dynamic group detection, with a variable scale. The validation of the approaches developed in this document is performed by practical implementations and experiments at each step of this work, thanks to an important amount of real world collected data. Through extended analyzes, we provide elements allowing to characterize the communication within mobile BANs, and particularly large scale networks. Although guided by the strong applicative context of live TV broadcast, these works and analysis methods don't lose in generality, and this challenging and original context opens a lot of perspectives.

Arel VUT Krav hora / BUT Area Krav hora

Vrlov, Ela January 2018 (has links)
The topic of the diploma thesis BUT Area Kravi hora is a strategic study of the BUT area at Kravi hora from the previous semester to a scale of 1:200. The subject is the elaboration of the concept in order to bring together the interests of BUT and Brno city in this extraordinary territory for the benefit of both subjects. This work deals in detail with newly proposed objects in the BUT territory. A number of regulations have been issued in the territory limiting the subsequent use of the area, but the current area does not suit the existing potential of the site. The main concept was a creation of a set of buildings that will serve the University for representation and public activities, while allowing the access and use of the general public by the inhabitants of the city of Brno. The whole site will be set up in a newly-built city-wide park and other park areas that will create an attractive part of the now-inaccessible and unspoilt area connecting Veveri with Kravi hora. There will also be added additional features inspired by the existing features in the area, namely the Art Colony with ateliers, then Business Units and spacious Public Workshops. The entire Kravi hora area will be interwoven with a number of services serving both adults and children. The new proposal will also lead to the diversion of car traffic from the whole territory in order to ensure the safest relaxed movement of visitors. There will be numerous parking spaces located on the outskirts of the area. The main goal is to create a strong concept focusing on relaxation, health, education and sport, which should result in the overall opening and attractiveness of the territory.

A Study of Statewide Transfer and Articulation Reporting System (STARS) Approved Courses Completed at an Alabama Community College

Large, Khristy Gibson 13 December 2008 (has links)
The primary purpose of this study was to determine if students have earned more STARS articulated and transferrable hours since the creation of the STARS program than students did before the existence of the program in the state of Alabama. Study results revealed that the STARS program has had a significant impact on the amount of articulated credit hours students have earned since the creation of the STARS program. Additional variables such as ethnicity, gender, GPA, status, and student type were also used to determine if significant differences existed among these variables in students completing STARS-approved hours. Pre-existing data were used as the data source for the study. Non-identifiable, academic transcripts of 240 randomly selected associate degree graduates from Shelton State Community College were used in the study. Study years included 20 randomly selected students from each pre STARS chosen year (1992-1997) and from each post STARS (2002-2007) year for a total of 240 study graduates. Results of the statistical analysis were presented in both narrative and table form, answering the six research questions. The independent variable for the study was the STARS articulation program. The dependent variable for the study was the number of STARS-approved hours completed. An analysis of variance or ANOVA was used to analyze data. The study concludes with study summary, conclusions, implications, and recommendations for further research.

A. Fall, A. 19 March 2010 (has links) (PDF)
