The main object of my final work is creating worksheets for teaching mathematics unit {\clqq}The basics of statistics{\crqq} using the interactive whiteboard and a computer and to find out how interactive teaching helps in the comprehensive educational process. The work is divided into three parts. In the first part I occupy myself with motivation theory and various stimulating teaching methods, especially with the design method. In the second part I analysed the current state of use computers and interactive whiteboards in teaching mathematics. The third practical part is consists of worksheets for the interactive whiteboard, that I created and the project. Then I occupy myself with application worksheets in teaching pupils in the second year of the secondary vocational school and I compare it with classic teaching. In conclusion I gave results and pieces of knowledge that I acquired during this teaching.

The diploma thesis is called A Multimedia Educational Programme for Teaching European Geography at Primary School. It includes also a CD with the programme that is focused on the educational process of Homeland Studies in the fifth class and describes the states neighbouring with the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis was made in accordance with the Educational Framework Programme, the School Educational Programme and the Year Thematic Plan for the teaching of Homeland Studies in the fifth class from Grunwaldova Primary school in České Budějovice, where the programme was used and presented to children. The part called Geographical characteristics is dividend into four parts that describe concrete states and contain chapters such as Location, Hydrological conditions, Industry, Socio-Economical characteristics, History etc. A part of the diploma thesis is the educational programme. Each state in this programme is presented by a personality born in that state. The educational programme also includes interactive tasks for children that facilitate learning new information. It is possible to use this programme in connection with the Smart Board (interactive) Board, but there is an opportunity to work with this programme on computers too.

In my thesis I am concerned with compiled interactive textbook designed for first-year primary school pupils. This textbook focuses on counting with transfer over 5 and 10 with the use of interactive white board and abacuses. In the introductory part of my work I describe the knowledge pupils have when they start their first school year and I deal with Mathematics at the beginning of the first year, abacuses, interactive white boards, textbook and interactive textbook. The main part applies to interactive textbook manual in which I describe the environment, control and particular examples. I also refer to lessons that have been taught at two primary schools. The conclusion consists of a feed-back obtained from teachers in the form of a questionnaire, my self-assessment, and evaluation of taught lessons and their effect on the basis of worksheets.

Optické rozpoznávání tabule úkolů / Tasks Board Optical Recognition

The master's thesis deals with the optical recognition of the tasks board in the agile environment. Based on theoretical knowledge about the agile project management, the concept of the task board is introduced. Possible representations of this agile tool are discussed, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. In connection with the optical recognition of the objects, follows the theoretical part dealing with barcodes, their structure and methods of detection and decoding. Based on these facts, the application design is reflecting all the needs specified by the company Siemens CT DC which is the contracting authority of the project. Implemented solution used for synchronization between the physical and virtual task board is able to detect the task cards with reliability about 95 % and allows the full synchronization of the task board during the four cycles. Deployment in the software development team and using the fully automated mode brings approximately five times quicker synchronization than it was before. In a case of semi-automated mode, it is about three times faster than before.

TITLE: Acquiring Vocabulary by Means of Smartboard AUTHOR: Mgr. Zdeňka Španingerová DEPARTMENT: Department of German Studies SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Pavla Nečasová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This PhD thesis deals with researching the efficiency of interactive whiteboards in foreign language teaching. The objective was to verify the hypothesis that the interactive whiteboard is an effective tool and means in the process of acquiring German vocabulary. Chapters I to IV draw upon available secondary literature, whilst part V is concerned with the applied research. Vocabulary uptake efficiency was tested on three teaching modules by contrasting an experimental group and a control. The experimental group was taught by means of an interactive whiteboard, whereas the control group was not. The methodology of the research is based on the above mentioned experiment, interviews with the pupils, a test of individual learning styles and observation of all lessons (based on video recordings). The results of the research suggest that interactive elements in German language teaching make the acquisition of vocabulary more successful. Moreover, the efficiency might be higher throughimplementation of the interactive whiteboard. Regarding the small sample of students the problem outlined in this work deserves more extensive research....

His master's thesis I've divided into three parts, theoretical, practical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the teaching of geography, educational technology and teaching aids, museum pedagogy, individual educational specificities of schools and museums and how should cooperation look like, what role in it plays the personality of the museum educator and what it is for a school and a museum benefit. And last but not least the literature, which is in my opinion an important element in the teaching of geography. In the practical part, I have described a realization of a project in which it is used didactic technology, a collaboration with the museum and work with literature. The empirical part is focused on research in basic schools in the field of educational technology. The key concepts on which the research is based, such as: modern didactic techniques, working with modern educational technology, the perception of educational technology as a means to the realization of the teaching.

The theme of the thesis is the Possibilities of using ICT at the first level of elementary school, but also the definition of negatives and limitations in teaching at elementary school. The thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part of the work. I focus mainly on the use of ICT and on the prerequisites for introducing ICT into elementary schools and subsequently on the individual ICT tools in elementary schools and the possibilities of their use. The use of ICT is understood as a tool for developing pupils' general and cross-curricular competence and for developing communication and critical thinking at the first level of elementary school. Innovative teaching methods based on active and empirical learning and expanded by information and communication technologies can increase the engagement of pupils and improve their results, as shown by the questionnaire survey and the chapters of the theoretical part of the thesis. The diploma thesis deals with detailed look at the project Education 21 and so the teaching using new technologies, especially interactive whiteboards and netbooks, in Czech schools. The objective was observation of teaching mathematics, methods of using interactive whiteboards and netbooks in mathematics lessons at secondary schools participating project Education 21. Evaluation and conclusions are based on analyzes of lessons recorded in the academic year 2009/2010 and 2010/2011, which were investigated and further divided into shorter stories in case that interactive whiteboard or netbook was used in some way. I watched purpose and the way of use of interactive whiteboard or netbook in the episodes, then the material which this technology was used with the aid of and who worked with interactive whiteboard. Some episodes can serve as an example of "good" or interesting way of working with the IWB and NTB in mathematics lessons, or they can be an inspiration for other mathematics teachers but also teachers of other subjects.
