The aim of this diploma thesis is to prepare and try to present and practise vocabulary in practice using a interactive whiteboard. Vocabulary topics are based on RVP (FEP) and designed for 6th grade of elementary school. A textbook Way to Win 6 is used as a source and basic material for the topics. This textbook comes precisely from RVP (FEP). I have prepared presentations and practices on the basis of professional literature which are methodically correct. These presentations and practices are connected with a meaning and a spoken and written form of each word. Pupils will be able to use this vocabulary actively after practising.

The diploma thesis covers points, line segments, lines and half-lines, angles, circles, triangles and their teaching through computers and interactive whiteboards. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The first one covers motivation for learning, constructivism, evaluation of teaching materials and interactivity in school environment. The practical part contains worksheets for teaching with an interactive whiteboard created by the author of the thesis and their use in Year Six of primary and lower-secondary schools. In the conclusion the author mentions his observations gained during his own teaching practice.

This thesis is thematically focused on the use of modern technology in economic education at secondary schools. The theoretical part discusses the issue of modernization of education, including the presentation of the Ministry of Education document Strategy digital education by 2020. Furthermore in the context of theoretical analyzed in detail the different types of modern technology and the last chapter of this part of this thesis deals with current projects, which are designed to support the modernization of education. In the empirical part of this thesis, analyzes a survey carried out among teachers of business subject at secondary schools and pupils at a secondary school as well. The aim of this section is to use the survey to determine attitudes of teachers and students to modern technologies. And then also examine the possibilities of new modern technologies in teaching business subjects.

The project is divided into three parts - the design of control board for LED display, next the control unit and finally the remote control. LED display contains LED segments and graphical line for the text. The control unit and remote control are communicating with LED display, measuring devices or with a PC. It is possible to operate the whole system by tablet or a smartphone. There is a software made for all processors of all parts, which can demonstrate the function of the system and all added peripherals.

There are also shown selected research each product and indoor playgrounds. In the end of the first part of the thesis is briefly described discipline of design management. In the second part is created the design all of the products focused on functionality, ergonomics and safety. There are also contained photos and visualization of the protypes. The aim of this master's thesis, "Utilizing an interactive whiteboard to learn verbs in German lesson" is presented in two parts. The theoretical part is devoted to aspects which influence teaching, and therefore the preparation of interactive materials. The practical part is focused on the proposal of activities used on the interactive whiteboard. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter allows us to view the educative process from a psychological perspective, attempting to clarify the importance of relevant styles and strategies used effectively while learning a foreign language. The concern of chapter two is an interactive board and multimedia. Principles which should be followed by educators who are creating teaching materials are also introduced. Furthermore, there are presented internet portals which can be used in German lessons. The last chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to grammar and the grammatical category - verbs. The practical part is predominantly based on creating your own teaching materials, which are designed to practise German verbs. The activities are split up into two sections (for elementary school and high school). An evaluation of the teaching materials results from survey. They were verified in the educational practice.

Thesis, entitled Use of the information technology in the lessons of music education aims to compare different approaches to teaching music education in high school, specifically to compare the form of traditional teaching with teaching by using an interactive whiteboard, in terms of their influence on memorization of curriculum. To verify the hypothesis implied that the use of interactive whiteboards in the lessons of music education has a positive impact on the level of acquired student's knowledge, I have created materials for lessons. These include both teaching material (supplied on CDROM), and verification tests, which enabled us to compare the results of the control groups of students. The analysis of the obtained results confirmed the expected hypothesis; difference between the control groups emerged, however, was not large enough to be able to clearly demonstrate that better results were caused by the use of interactive whiteboards in the classroom. Positive contribution of interactive whiteboard reflected greater involvement of students in the lessons and proactive approach to the studied topics, which in turn positively influenced the level of their acquired knowledge.
