Otázka identity v dílech Impresionista a Baumgartnerova Bombaj / Question of Identity in The Impressionist and Baumgartner' s BombaySehnalová, Kamila January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis aims to depict the nature of identity formation in the main characters of two works of postcolonial literature, Hari Kunzru's The Impressionist and Anita Desai's Baumgartner's Bombay. The concept of identity is approached from two perspectives, the traditional and the postcolonial one. Apart from that, the reactions of the two characters to their identity crises are scrutinized. The goal of this thesis is to determine what consequences the extreme implementation of a fluid, therefore ideal postcolonial identity, and the fixed one, as its extreme opposite, might have upon human lives. Special attention is paid to the three terms crucial in the postcolonial theory, liminality, hybridity and mimicry and how they predetermine the characters of the two novels. The analysis shows that neither extreme approach proves to be viable or beneficial for the life of an individual.

Didaktické situace při vytváření matematických pojmů v předškolní edukaci / Didactical situations in construction of mathematical concept in preschool educationSEMERÁDOVÁ, Soňa January 2015 (has links)
The dissertation explored didactical situations, in which mathematical concepts in nursery schools are created and specified. It discusses the link between two issues related to institutional pre-school mathematics education. These are: Do children in nursery schools have opportunity to discover mathematical concepts? What is characteristic for didactical situations, in which it happens? Dissertation is organised according to a scheme "theory-methodology-empirical findings". Presented research is realized as qualitative, data material is formed by written narratives, chosen analytical procedures belong to the framework grounded theory method. In the main research I managed not only to compare individual narrations of teachers from nursery schools and identify various teachers´ actions, practises and types of didactical situations, but also to find the form of the mathematical didactical situation in the environment of nursery schools.

Ekonomická analýza měnového páru EUR/USD / Economic analysis of currency pair EUR/USDPeťura, Michal January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with the relationship of exchange rate theory regarding the currency pair EUR / USD. The theoretical part defines the fundamental issue of exchange rates, exchange-rate regimes and the foreign exchange market, where the exchange rates are made. The crucial part of the theory is devoted to economic theories causing currency movements. In conclusion of the theoretical part attention is also given to econometric methods and statistics time series analysis.
The analytical part of the thesis examines the short and long term relationships of purchasing power parity, the theory of parity of interest rates and monetary approach to the exchange rate for the currency pair EUR / USD. A regression analysis is used for investigating short-term relationships, and is applied to the relative changes in the value of the currency pair EUR / USD and the changes in the relative values of the theory of exchange rate determination. The long-term equilibrium relationship is analyzed by using a cointegration analysis, specifically the Engle-Granger and Johansen tests. The estimated results are evaluated and discussed in the final part of the thesis.

Historická imaginace pozdního osvícenství. / The Historical Imagination of Late Enlightenment.Smyčka, Václav January 2016 (has links)
The dissertation deals with the transformations of historiography and perception of the historical time in the last third of 18th and at the beginning of the 19th centuries. The central questions it investigates are: How has the way of locating (Czech) society in time changed? How did representations of past fundamentally change between 1760s and 1820s, in the era of the so-called "Sattelzeit"? What is the relationship between these changes and the way in which history was represented? What impact did the changes of media, book markets, and culture of reading have in this time? What are the political and aesthetic consequences of these changes? The answer to these questions is found in five fundamental innovations of Enlightenment historiography. These innovations (understood according to Niklas Luhmann's system theory in order to reduce complexity) - fundamentally influenced the way in which late Enlightenment thinkers conceptualized the flow of historical time and the praxis of historiography. It is about the spread of cumulative concepts of knowledge in historia litteraria related to the growth of book markets, narrativisation of the historical experience (as a result of emergence of the newly incoming fictional genres of the historical novels),, philosophy of history as a new idealistic...

Společnosti v mezinárodním právu soukromém / Companies in private international lawLembas, Jan January 2018 (has links)
The objective of this thesis is to analyze legal framework of companies in private international law with focus on cross-border mobility of companies in the EU. The work consists of an introduction, five chapters and a conclusion. In the first chapter, the basic terminology used in the work and terms of private international law, collision standards, legal entities (persons) and companies are presented and defined. The second chapter is devoted to the personal statute of company and analyzes main theories of determining a personal statute - the incorporation theory and the real seat theory, their advantages and disadvantages are discussed and their comparison is mentioned at the end of the chapter. Incorporation theory enables cross-border transfer of company seats and defines law applicable to company forever, real seat theory has a protective function. Whereas incorporation theory uses the foundation of a company to determine applicable law, real seat theory uses the real seat of a company, the actual place where the company centers its activity. The third chapter discusses the subject from the point of view of the EU law. The freedom of establishment as legal basis for the movement of companies within EU is analyzed as well as basic articles of primary law regarding right of establishment....

Společnosti v mezinárodním právu soukromém / Companies in private international lawBotová, Hana January 2015 (has links)
Companies in private international law Abstract The purpose of my thesis is to analyze the regulation of companies in private international law with the focus on the possibilities of cross-border movement of companies. In today's globalized society, the mobility of companies affects both economy of the state and lives of the employees, creditors and other parties. It is therefore subject to regulation. State's conflict of laws rules are based on two main methods to determine the status of the company, i.e. the incorporation doctrine and the real seat doctrine. These two doctrines are clashing in many aspects. The thesis is composed of an introduction, followed by five chapters, and a summary. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis: the terms company and private international law. The second chapter explains the concept of status of a company and analyses the incorporation theory, the theory of real seat and the theory of super-addition. It also deals with the cross-border transfer of seat. Chapter Three examines Czech legislation regarding the personal status of a company. It explains the historical background and recent Czech concept of the incorporation theory, addresses the issue of seat in Czech law and investigates the regulation of cross-border transfer of seat....

Status oprávněnosti u přesvědčení vytvořených na základě smyslového vnímání / Justificatory Status of Perceptual BeliefsSedláková, Jana January 2016 (has links)
The main subject of this essay is the problem of the relationship between sensation and perceptual beliefs in terms of their justification. Wilfrid Sellars and his Empiricism & The Philosophie of Mind are central for this essay. Sellars criticizes the theory of fundamentalism and sense data theory by pointing to the Myth of the Given. The perceptual beliefs could not be basic and self-justifying. Such a hierarchical structure is implausible, because we need a lot of other concepts for understanding and forming the perceptual beliefs. The justification has to be placed in the space of reason, when we are able to be responsible for our beliefs, to give reason, to understand the objections and react to them. This debate is not examined only in terms of an isolated, static subject. On the contrary, this subject is embedded to a dynamic social structure. Sellars' position contains three main elements: normativity, intersubjektivity and holism. All these elements will be more closely examined and placed in a broader context. Finally, I will present a critical view on Sellars' position on the basis of three questions: 1, to what extent is plausible the prior character of "It is" talk to "It looks" talk 2, to what extent can we talk about the non - inferential beliefs 3, to what extent is Sellars'...
