The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe and define basic principles of visual communication from the point of view of mass communication theory and classical media theory and to attempt to create a basic synthesis of these branches. The visual communication is currently dominating form of communication not only in advertising and marketing, but also from the point of purely artistic expressing, which nowadays abandons classical conservative techniques and searches for new ways of expressions. The focus on the diploma on European theatre poster, which is a factual synthesis of those trends, allows adequately assessment the relevance of media theory in relation to visual communication as a way of addressing recipients with the information given in a form of an image. The topic of European poster has been chosen to widely demonstrate the general acceptance of visual communication as a part of sociocultural discursion in a global sense. Another dimension of a theatre poster is its function in public space and the possibilities of the audience to accept the message in these surroundings. On the background of relevant media theory it will also be presented the position of contemporary theatre poster among new trends of mass communication. The thesis deals with the use of musical educational games in teaching music theory. The theoretical part explains some general concepts such as game, activation, or the child's personality. Text is based on the history of education, highlighting the views of famous philosophers, doctors, teachers, psychologists and other thinkers, who focused on child's play and the personality of the child. This part of the thesis also presents ways how to work with music playing in the singing, listening, instrumental and musical movement activities, according to some contemporary music teachers. The research focuses on experimental teaching with application of games with music theory, which were specially developed by the author. The research subject is the student and his involvement in activities that help with music theory teaching. The study identified some sub-goals: Discover the impact of educational games for pupil's activation and their participation in experimental teaching music education. Discover pupil's experiences from the game and checking the effectivity of the learning. Master thesis is focused on one of the crutial and the most problematic tools at the same time of driver diagnostic which is the interwiev. In the theorethical part of the thesis we concern on the targets and basic starting points of the driver assesment, from which the explorative areas of the interwiev. We discuss the role of the interwiev in the systém of methods which can be used for driver behaviour prediction and its specific kontext or the social desirability influence. The interwiev is divided into four phases - introducion (contract), anmnestic data gathering, diagnostical part, and conclusion. The theory of planned behaviour, and Behavioral Event Interview are presented in the diagnosticlal as the two sources of the design of semi-standardized interview. Empirical part contains a specific interwiev design including the recommended question set for mapping of the ability to view and reflection, driving style and characteristics, attitudes to risk behavior a possibility of the driver change from the point of his behaviour.. Then, the qualitative assesment of the question sets using the contrast method, comparison and subsequent interpretation based on the content analysis of the driver statements in accompanying case reports. Postmodernity's Search for Postgender: Bropy, Winterson and Place (Abstract) The thesis examines three formally very diverse texts published in 1969, 1993 and 2013 respectively that creatively approach and subvert the gender binary: Brigid Brophy's In Transit, Jeanette Winterson's Written on the Body and Vanessa Place's Boycott. Based on Jean-François Lyotard's conception of postmodernism as modernism in a constantly nascent state, the author advances a hypothesis of "postgender." This however does not mean overcoming gender for good (as it is sometimes understood, for example by Rosi Braidotti), but as a structural momentum, a possibility of subversion at the heart of any gender schema and currently therefore of genderism, i.e. the belief that gender is necessarily binary and that aspects of our gender are inherently linked to our sex assigned at birth. Apart from feminist theory and literary criticism, the thesis also touches on the field of transgender studies, psychoanalysis, philosophy of history and most importantly the work of Jacques Derrida. In so doing it tries to articulate the notion of postgender as part and parcel of the condition of postmodernity and a culmination of the modern split of the subject, leading to a certain cultural gender turn during the 1990s. It describes the possibility of "how to do things with words": such an analysis of language will be suggested that does not focus on the category of truth when dealing with particular utterances but rather replaces it with the category of felicity of a speech act in the social context. After having offered the explication including the central points of the given theory, there starts the investigation of which parts of the speech act theory are conventionally based and what role do conventions play in the speech act theory as a whole.

Entrepreneurship is often perceived as a crucial component of economic growth and social development. Studies into entrepreneurship inform policy design, thus the diverse understanding of entrepreneurship among scholars can create confusion in policy design. The current state of the field of entrepreneurial research is examined in order to identify the need for a universal definition of entrepreneurship. After a synthesis and analysis of prior research is conducted to identify the various links in perspectives, a new definition and framework is suggested. The resulting framework sees entrepreneurship as an autocatalytic process of creation of meaning and the consequent retention of said meaning in the structure of a new venture. The elements of this framework (autocatalytic process, creation of meaning, and retention in structure) can be assigned varying degrees of importance corresponding to differing perspectives, while simultaneously ensuring the presence of each element. The developed framework can be used to better inform the decisions of scholars and policy makers, due to the uncovering of the complex relationships between society, individuals and firms.

Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to observe small children when playing or learning something new or telling something and anyone who has ever had the op- portunity to talk to them must have noticed the children sometimes treat the reality around them in a strange way. These are the funny moments when one is surprised what children think and how they treat logic. As though small children lived in an odd world where the rules of logic are completely different. The famous Swiss psy- chologist noticed this peculiar children's thinking and described the intellectual egocentrism in children of preschool and early school age. Egocentrism does not affect only the children's logical thinking but also other aspects of children's think- ing and experience. This special "setting" of children's minds can be observed when the children are playing, in children's communication, in their drawings or in chil- dren's moral judgement. In the field of children's morals Piaget spoke of the moral realism. The thesis explores alternative approaches to homomorphic encryption. First we present a code-based homomorphic encrypti- on scheme by Armknecht et. al. and study its properties. Then we describe the family of cryptosystems commonly known as Polly Cracker and identify its pro- blematic aspects. The main contribution of this thesis is the design of a new fully homomorphic symmetric encryption scheme based on Polly Cracker. It proposes a new approach to overcoming the complexity of the simple Polly Cracker - based cryptosystems. It uses Gröbner bases to generate zero-dimensional ideals of po- lynomial rings over finite fields whose factor rings are then used as the rings of ciphertexts. Gröbner bases equip these rings with a multiplicative structure that is easily algorithmized, thus providing an environment for a fully homomorphic cryptosystem. The concern of this thesis is to discuss different multicriteria games solution concepts. Multicriteria game is a special case from the game theory if the payoff function of at least one player is a vector and the player wants to maximize all the criteria at the same time. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first instance a few motivation examples are introduced. Subsequently the history of the multicriteria games is mentioned. The theoretical chapter follows. It contains five sections - introduction of new definitions; the structure of the set of equilibria for two person multicriteria games; searching equilibria points by the help of scalarization of the vector-valued function; introduction of ideal equilibria points and ways how to find them; the comparison of used methods. The last solution concept is demonstrated by the real example. Finally a theoretical chapter with new results is included. 1

Supervisor's e-mail address: klimes@seis.karlov.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: One of the aims of this thesis was coding of program grdborn.for for computing the 2D and 3D ray-based Born approximation of the first order in an inhomoge- nous isotropic medium without attenuation. The computation of 3D amplitudes using the 2D Born approximation is based on the correction term, which is de- rived. The program is further used in computing the Born approximation in various models. We test its performance in three simple models. We study the effect of the discretization, the spurious waves introduced by the finite size of the grid etc. In the next step, we focus on the computations in more compli- cated models.
