Srovnání československé II. a III. republiky z hlediska teorie autoritativních režimů Juana J. Linze / Comparison of the Czechoslovak 1st and 2nd republic from the point of view of the theory of authoritarian regimes by Juan J. Linz

Svoboda, Ladislav January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with pair of domestic regimes known as the second and third | Czechoslovakian republic. The choice of these periods of the national history was conditioned by a relative absence of comparative political scientific works on these periods and by timelessness and topicality of the studying of domestic regimes, that refused the idea of a liberal democracy twice in ten years. The goal of the diploma thesis is to analyze, compare and categorize the second and the third Czechoslovakian republic in the framework provided by the theory of authoritarian and totalitarian regimes by Juan J. Linz. In the first part the thesis describes the theoretical framework of the theory of authoritarian and totalitarian regimes with stress on the theory of authoritarian regimes, as it is the assumption of the thesis, that both the second and the third republic were cases of authoritarian regimes. The other parts of theory which deal with totalitarian and sultanistic regimes are only briefly mentioned. In the second part of the thesis there is an analysis and comparison of both regimes based on three research questions. In this part the thesis deals with the relationship of both studied regimes with the first republic and their relationship with a liberal democracy, then it deals with the very analysis in...

'n Polisistemiese ondersoek na veranderinge in die Afrikaanse kinderliteratuur-sisteem sedert 1990

Oosthuizen, Mia Magriet 03 1900 (has links)
Thesis (MA (Afrikaans and Dutch))--University of Stellenbosch, 2010. / ENGLISH ABSTRACT: Afrikaans children's literature has long been neglected in the Afrikaans literary polysystem and has been considered inferior by numerous figures, especially litterateurs. The negative effect of this attitude has been a shortage of academic studies on Afrikaans children's literature, the marginalised position of the genre in the Afrikaans literary canon and the absence of a general literary definition of "children's literature". The 1990’s see the dawn of a new democratic era in South Africa and a subsequent revival of the system of Afrikaans children's literature. However, despite this revival and growth, there is still a shortage of dedicated research into this genre. This thesis details the changes in the children's literature system that has occurred since 1990, by way of a polysystemic approach. The polysystem theory, as developed by Itamar-Even Zohar, serves as foundation for this study. Questions around genres, subgenres and problems surrounding the umbrella term "youth literature" are addressed. The age group of the readers of children's book are defined and a general definition of the children's literature genre is formulated. Based on this definition, ten academic studies since 1990, all of which are devoted specifically to children's literature, are identified and discussed. A historical overview of the development of Afrikaans children's literature is presented to support the choice of 1990 in the scope of the literature review. It is shown that the events that lead to the changes since 1990 are generally attributable to the political changes in South Africa that lead to the first democratic election in 1994. These changes in the different social and political systems are related to the changes in the children's literature system. It is further shown that these changes are reflected in the children's book itself, and are discussed in terms of the clear trends that emerge in children's literature and children's books since 1990. These trends are illustrated by an examination of six relevant publications. A literary definition of the term "children’s literature" is presented.

Poezie ve veřejném prostoru / Poems on walls. Poetry in public space

Chlumová, Jitka January 2011 (has links)
In the last years placing of poems in public space has become popular in the Netherlands. The poems are to be found in the cities, mainly on the walls and in the pavements, as well as in the nature. They are specific form of poetry which was not described thoroughly so far. This thesis describes the phenomenon (for which the term wallpoems is used) from three different points of view: it is poetical object by itself, part of the city as a social space and part of literature. (1) The wallpoem is poetical object in which the interaction is very strong between the text and the medium. The interpretation of the poem is strongly influenced by used material (bricks, stone, glas, metal), typography and location (wall, pavement, nature). The location has own social cultural context that influences the perception. Thanks to the unusual placing outside of any book the poems can be seen by another public. Very important is for the reader the surprise and unexpectedness of such a meeting with poetry. (2) The wallpoem is part of the city space. The most poems are part of organised projects which also influences their perception. Some of them have common theme or background idea given by the initiators. These projects can represent particular aspects of the city or create an image of it. Such image is meant as...

Anoikonyma a mikroanoikonyma na Žďársku / Anoikonyms and microanoikonyms in the Žďársko region

Foralová, Michaela January 2013 (has links)
This thesis focuses on 375 minor place-names (hydronyms, oronyms and land names) in the region of Žďársko. The origin of 185 anoikonyms is studied from a linguistic aspect for the first time; the other names are taken from my bachelor thesis. The objective of this thesis is to determine the origin of given minor place-names. The required information was searched in various printed materials, journals and also on the Internet. As an important source for examination several local witnesses have been interviewed and consultation with experts in onomastic was conducted. Methods such as collection, analysis and interpretation of the collected data were used in this thesis. Consequently, after the origin was clarified, the anoikonyms were analyzed according to the so called model theory - it was assigned to individual relational and structural models or types. This thesis aims for systematical approach to minor place-names and their preservation for future generations.

Částice se spinem v algebraicky speciálních prostoročasech / Spinning particles in algebraically special space-times

Šrámek, Milan January 2013 (has links)
Spinning-particle motion is studied, within the pole-dipole approximation, in algebraically special space-times of type N, III and D. The spin-curvature interaction is analysed for the Pirani and Tulczyjew spin supplementary conditions; for N and D types, the condition is related to a relative acceleration of two near observers separated in the direction of particle's spin. For Tulczyjew's condition, the momentum-velocity relation is also studied as well as its consequences for the spin-curvature interaction. Finally, the type of motion is mentioned for which both the supplementary conditions considered are equivalent.

Potřebuje komunitní práce teorii? / Does Community Practice Need Theory?

Juráčková, Anna January 2014 (has links)
The goal of the thesis is to find if the community approach used by its leading figures is based on the theory and how they use the theory. The thesis introduces modern concept of community, which can be seen as the actual ground for community work. First of all it presents wide range of often used definitions, then it offers the view of community by disciplines like philosophy, theology, political philosophy - communitarism, and last but not least it presents the sociological interpretation of community and marginally also the anthropological one. In the research part the reader is acquainted with five personal stories of community approach leading figures - people, who were engaged or who are still actively interested in the work with community. Showing the main ideas of these people which characterize their approaches to the practice and studying their relation to the theory and view on community the thesis uncovers, if they see the theoretical support as needed for their work. Deskriptivní vlastnosti systémů výjimečných množin v harmonické analýze / Descriptive set properties of collections of exceptional sets in Harmonic analysis

Kovařík, Vojtěch January 2014 (has links)
We study families of small sets which appear in Harmonic analysis. We focus on the systems H(N) , N ∈ N, U and U0. In particular we compare their sizes via comparing the polars of these classes, i.e. the families of measures annihilating all sets from given class. Lyons showed that in this sense, the family N∈N H(N) is smaller than U0. The main goal of this thesis is the study of the question whether this also holds when the system U0 is replaced by the much smaller system U. To this end we define a new system H(∞) and systems of sets of type N where N ∈ N∪{∞}. We then prove some of their properties, which might be useful in solving the studied question. 1

Teorie hodnocení uměleckého díla / Theories of art evaluation

Neubert, Jiří January 2014 (has links)
(EN) Evaluation is an inextricable part of perceiving artworks and therefore it is necessary to study it. Evaluation is always an evaluation of something, it presupposes certain knowledge and idea of what is being evaluated. Evaluation presupposes conceptualization. If we want to say something about art or better of our experience of it and want to be understood and believed, we will need to study our conceptual equipment we use. This paper offers a conceptual minimum, being important, almost inevitable for the evaluation of art. All encounters with art are connected to the consideration of authorship. Concept of the author seems to be with the concept of art more then adherent. Nowadays authorship flounders between complete sovereignty and dissolution. There are theories of artworks, that leave or even protest against the connection between art and author. Art has a long tradition, but the contemporary notio of art is relatively young and conceptually very much laden. On the one side there is ignorance of its character, on the other there are tendencies to fix it forever. Man understanding art as an expression, perceives, looks for meaning and evaluates differently, then the one understands art as an institutinally given status. The manners of thinking art are decisive. The concept of art depends...
