ResPublica/Civitas Socialis – Strachotín, l. p. 2017 / ResPublica/Civitas Socialis - Strachotín

Horňasová, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
The theme of the diploma thesis is based on conclusions of the pre-diploma thesis which tried to find lost potential of the village Strachotín and outline its possible development. Strachotín is located in a major wine region. Therefore, the potential of the municipality is mainly in wine, tradition and tourism. The stragedy builds on these potentials and creates two main themes. I live, I discover. The living factor represents inhabitants of Strachotín and the possibility of housing, work and recreation. The discovering factor represents traditions and tourism. The key theme becomes a village square. This is primarily a place for local residents, but also a place for the municipality to represent and support tourism. The village square is the most important part of the village, but the current state of affairs is not the case. Village square lost its identity thanks to inappropriate placement of objects and their functional use. The design tries to clean the village square from objects that are not functionally and aesthetically suitable. Objects that remain in the proposal are a municipal house and former school. They have a historical position here. The proposal adds a new object that combines and complements functions that have been missing or lost in the village in the original solution. The newly created public space creates not only a place for the inhabitants of Strachotín, but also a new tourist destination.

Baráčník's movement is understood in this work as an artificially created tradition of the late 19th century, which is confronted with today's social reality, which according to one theory, can also be described as an society of experience. In the first phase of the thesis, it is first introduced how, on the basis of concrete arrangements, a centrally organized movement focused on the care of national customs and traditions emerged from the network of pubs table companies. It is monitored how the headquarter of baráčník's movement worked on standardization of baráčník's ideology, symbolism and program. It also shows how these changes in ideology were approached by the members themselves and the public. Special attention is focused on finding the answer, why it was possible that baráčník's clubs have not been canceled in the era of communist regime. In the second phase are solved the problems, how baráčníks organize their activities today, how they thematize their problems with lack of interest in their program and finally how they present...

Z papyrů prožraných červy : Texty rakví z hrobky kněze Iufay v Abúsíru / From worm-eaten papyri: Coffin Texts from the tomb of priest Iufaa at Abusir

Míčková, Diana January 2016 (has links)
The aim of the present thesis is translation, detailed analysis and interpretation of the Coffin Texts of the Late-period tomb of Iufaa at Abusir. The corpus of these texts is unique, because except for a few text sequences, which were common in the Late Period, there are texts that are not preserved elsewhere in the Late Period and sometimes only exist in highly fragmentary Middle Kingdom versions. The Coffin Texts found on Iufaa's outer sarcophagus and on the walls of his burial chamber consist only of such uncommon texts. Some of these are also placed on the inner sarcophagus, whereall theremaining Coffin Texts spells are also located. The thesis presents a translation and analysis of the individual texts, focusing on their development, tradition and changes between the Middle Kingdom and the Late Period, including commentaries on grammar and language use as well as on the content. Iufaa's versions of these texts significantly contribute to our understanding and interpretation of some Coffin Texts spells and present a wider view on Egyptian religious texts and their interpretation, as well as on the textual transmission and work of Egyptian priests and scribes themselves.

Symboly vyloučení ze společenství v lidové tradici / Symbols of exclusion from society in folk tradition

JUŘICOVÁ, Iveta January 2015 (has links)
The dissertation titled Symbols of exclusion from society in folk tradition concentrates on the interaction of symbols and folk tradition. It explores the way the phenomenon of love and death is traditionally viewed in the Czech country, namely during the Middle Ages and modern times. The main focus of this dissertation is on the social roles of women, although it also shows proof of social exclusion of a man as an executioner. To demonstrate the reasons behind excluding individuals on the outskirts of society, the author also gives short characteristics of the views on the issue of chastity, traditional expectations of fulfilling the female social roles - as virgins, wives and mothers. The author then gives examples of behavior which, in folk tradition, were looked upon as impure/virtueless.
