Ženy v tradičním judaismu se zaměřením na tradice a zvyky Židovské obce v Praze od První republiky až po současnost / Women in traditional Judaism focusing on tradition and customs of the Jewish community in Prague from the First republic to the present

Příplatová, Silvie January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis outlines the view of women's life in traditional Judaism on the territory of the capital city of Prague. The work is not only focused on Jewish history from the First Republic to the present, the development of the social coexistence of Czechs and Jews over the last two centuries, but also on the preserved traditions and contemporary practices of Jewish women. The aim of my work is to clarify the traditions and customs that have been observed and changed in Prague and have evolved over time, under the influence of the surrounding world or migration. All this, with the emphasis on the fact that even though the life of pious Jewish women is full of statutes and provisions, these women are still given great respect, family, religion, culture, or society. Many years of thought and attitudes have persisted in the Jewish population in the form of dogmatism. On the part of the Czech population, motivated religious, social and even superstitious prejudices persisted. An unobtrusive observer may seem from the outside view that the lives of women in traditional Judaism or the practices of women in Prague since the First Republic are stable and unchanging. These ceremonies and practices have passed in the past with some developments that have culminated in the territory of Prague in the...

Podoby eklesiologie v české reformaci / Forms of ecclesiology in the Czech Reformation

Rokyta, Jan January 2017 (has links)
Dissertation thesis is devoted to the concepts of ecclesiology in Hussite movement. Particularly the perception of early church in individual Hussite movements and in significant Hussite thinkers is taken into account. An original standpoint is that Hussite revolution existed as a product of thinking of theological origin. It is necessary to deal also with the perception of man, power and its legitimacy, history and in Christian thinking also the approaches to the interpretation of the Scripture. Main and inspirational personages of Czech history of 14th and 15th century occur in the text: Matthew of Janow, John Hus, Jakoubek of Mies, Nicolaus Pilgramensis. Furthermore also ideas of radical Taborites are analyzed. One of the decisive viewpoints is the relationship to the Scripture and the way of its interpretation. It makes an important criterion for understanding church, world, social relations and the soul of man as Czech reformation emphasized them. Next is then the notion of early church as individual schools or Hussite personages perceived it. I have attempted to approach Czech reformation thinking about church with its individual specifics but also in their common features. Key words Ecclesiology, early church, Matthew of Janow, John Hus, Jakoubek of Mies, Nicolaus Pilgramensis

Projektový den na téma Lidové tradice a obyčeje na Sedlčansku / Folk Traditions and Customs in Sedlčany Region - A Project Day

HOLANOVÁ, Veronika January 2011 (has links)
My thesis has a didactic character. It consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with Sedlčany region, the landscape of Central Vltava valley, its natural beauty and historical and cultural sights. This section also focuses on presentation of the folk traditions in the course of the year. The year in my thesis is divided into autumn, winter and spring seasons. In autumn, my work deals with St. Martin festival, which was almost forgotten but recently the topic of this festival has been returning to elementary school education. Christmas is the most popular in winter and in spring my work is focused mainly on Easter. The practical part consists of a project day and two sets of lesson plans concerning St. Martin festival and Christmas. The one-day project day combines interrelationships among subjects and cross-curricular topics. The practical part also includes worksheets that were used during the project day at our elementary school. Civic studies teachers can use the worksheets when preparing their lessons.

Sv. Nikodém Svatohorec a prameny jeho myšlení / St. Nikodemos Hagioreites and sources of his tought

Ignatidu, Věra January 2018 (has links)
In the diploma thesis "St. Nikodemus Hagioreites and the sources of his thought" I focus on the writings and views of this saint, which some scholars do not consider as Orthodox and find there an influence of the West. For example, professor Yannaras finds in the work of St. Nicodemus the influences of the Trident Council, of Enlightenment and Pietism. These and other influences, according to the researchers, are reflected in the writings of the saint. His writings Invisible Combat and Spiritual Exercises are also problematical. These are revised books of Roman Catholic spiritual literature. It is a matter of exploring who translated these handbooks and how they came into the hands of the saint. In my work I gradually attend to the possible influences on the work of St. Nicodemus, to the writings considered to be influenced by the West, some of the saint's views and their comparison with the views of other theologians and peripheral to the hesychastic movement. Very important Nicodemus' issue is the question of frequent Communion. Is it really about trying to restore the practice of the early Church? In each chapter there is the task to provide briefly basic information and to outline issues related to the topic.
