Konstrukce sériových sloves v arabštině / Serial verb constructions in Arabic

Pospíšil, Adam January 2017 (has links)
DIPLOMOVÁ PRÁCE SERIAL VERB CONSTRUCTIONS IN ARABIC Konstrukce sériových sloves v arabštině Bc. Adam Pospíšil Abstract The aim of this thesis is to investigate multi-verb structures in Egyptian Arabic (EA) which show some characteristics attributed to the typological notion of serial verb constructions (SVC). After providing a preliminary definition of an EA-specific SVC notion, the author examines a substantial quantity of data from EA, gathered mostly on social networks, in order to describe the syntactic and semantic behavíour of constructions which are yielded by such definition. Finally, the results of this investigation are considered from the perspective of the definition of SVC as a comparative concept provided by Haspelmath (2016), so as to view the observed constructions in a typological context.

Evaluation environnementale des systèmes agricoles urbains en Afrique de l'Ouest : Implications de la diversité des pratiques et de la variabilité des émissions d'azote dans l'Analyse du Cycle de Vie de la tomate au Bénin / Environmental assessment of urban agricultural systems in West Africa : Implications of the diversity of practices and the variability of nitrogen emissions for the Life Cycle Assessment of tomato from Benin

Perrin, Aurélie 20 December 2013 (has links)
Urban agriculture provides opportunities to reduce poverty and ensure food safety for cities inhabitants in West Africa. The general objective of this thesis is producing representative inventories and a robust environmental assessment for those production systems using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology. Our case study was the tomato production in urban gardens in Benin. Our state of the art identified the integration of the diversity of systems and the variability of field emissions as two major challenges for the LCA of vegetable products. We therefore developed a typology-based protocol to collect cropping systems data that includes their diversity and an approach combining a nitrogen budget and the use of a biophysical model to estimate nitrogen field emissions. We created inventories for 6 cropping system types and one weighted mean representative for the urban tomato growers in Benin. The analysis of the agronomical performances of these systems highlighted the important yield variability and the variable and often excessive use of pesticides and fertilizers. The investigation of nitrogen fluxes variability at plot and crop cycle scales led to the identification of 4 major influencing factors: water use, nitrogen input, soil pH and field capacity. Using favorable and unfavorable scenarios for nitrogen emissions for each of these 4 factors, we demonstrated that the LCA results were sensitive to their variations. The implementation of LCA using those contrasted data showed that one hectare of tomato production in Benin was more impacting than European vegetable productions. The benefits from the favorable climate for producing out-of-season tomatoes were hampered by the low efficiency of irrigations systems, the frequent use of insecticides and large nitrogen emissions. Measured data and new knowledge on these systems are needed to validate and refine our conclusions.

Les gisements magdaléniens dans le Jura et les Alpes du nord et leurs industries osseuses / the Magdalenian site in Jura and the Alps North and their bone industries

Malgarini, Romain 15 December 2014 (has links)
These last years, the Magdalenian knew a deep renewed interest in Jura and the Alps of the North, concerning the chronological position of the successive phases and these site. The renewal and the production of data radiocarbons and paleoenvironnemental allowed to specify the evolution of the animal kingdom and the chronology of the human tardiglacial activities. This general framework recently established, allowed secondly, to propose an unpublished, compared and diachronic analysis of the evolution of the osseous productions in the Magdalenian, from a corpus of 22 site (described in a second volume), in caves and in rock shelters, distributed on the Massif of Jura and the Alps of the North and situated between 15500 and 12000 BP. Examined closely of four parameters estimating their potential, we selected the most relevant 13 site for which the various categories of witnesses (waste, supports, sketches and finished objects) by raw materials (antler, bone, ivory, dentin) and according to stigmata bound to their manufacturing and to their use.

Pojetí výuky makroekonomie na vysokých školách s ekonomicky zaměřenými studijními programy / The concept of teaching macroeconomics at higher education institutions with economics-based curricula

Marková, Lucie January 2011 (has links)
The ultimate objective of the present PhD thesis is to propose effective instructional methods to be employed in teaching macroeconomics as an academic subject, their selection being determined by the personality type recognition of the students of economics-based academic programmes. First, a current state of academic education and an increase in the number of university/college students, schools and faculties are analysed. Within the sector of higher education institutions (HEI) providing academic training in economic sciences, the focus is on the rationale of the inclusion of macroeconomics in their syllabi. Having conducted the quantitative research, the MBTI questionnaire being employed to measure personality types, the composition of academic study groups in the chosen economics-based schools was examined from the viewpoint of the given typology. An analysis of currently applied forms and methods of instruction in macroeconomics at the Private University College of Economic Studies (PUCES) is accompanied by the interpretation of their impact on the academic achievements of particular personality types. Based on the research findings, appropriate teaching methods are matched with respective personality types and subsequently with the entire study group comprising different types of personalities. The present dissertation thesis consists of an introduction, seven chapters and a conclusion. The introduction presents the aim of the thesis, an overview of the current state of relevant research on the topic as well as research hypotheses and methodology. Chapter 1 explores the current state of HEI programmes affected by soaring numbers of students, HEIs and their faculties. Chapter 2 focuses on macroeconomics as a scientific discipline and an academic subject incorporated in the syllabuses of the selected HEIs. Chapter 3 concentrates on academic teaching, outlining the philosophies, modes and methods of academic instruction. In chapter 4, personality typologies are exposed, focusing selectively on their development, emphasising those with significant social influence. The MBTI personality typology is given special attention, corresponding basic personality dimensions, dispositions and study successfulness being considered. Chapter 5 describes the results of the research of the student groups' structure according to MBTI typology in five chosen HEIs, summarizing the outcomes from the schools being tested. In chapter 6, macroeconomics examination results achieved by PUCES students are displayed, being related to respective personality categories in compliance with the above typology. In the last chapter, optimal methods and instructional approaches are suggested for teaching particular personality types of students, the heterogeneous composition of the study groups being taken into consideration.
