The thesis is structurally divided into the first part purely theoretical, where are discussed the most important aspects of financial analysis that are able to comprehensively assess the company through financial and analytical apparatus. The second part is focused on the processing of financial analysis for a particular company BOHEMIA ENERGY entity s.r.o. First are evaluated absolute indicators and ratios complemented by an analysis of working capital and the calculation of EVA. Detailed breakdown of ROE and financial distress prediction models subsequently allow overall view of the company. In conclusion, the results are summarized and commented upon in the context of the competitive position within the energy sector. Financial analysis is prepared for the five-year period from 2008 to 2012. All data are from publicly available sources and calculations are taken to the theoretical knowledge of domestic and foreign literature.

This master’s thesis is elaborated in cooperation with the selected company and is devoted to the following topic: application of management control system in retail department in selected company. The first part of the master’s thesis deals with the theoretical basics to the topic. The second part is devoted to the characteristic and strategy of the selected company. Further there is the analysis of the current state of company’s stores and served retail network. The third part of the master’s thesis focuses on proposals of key indicators of controlling measurement of company’s stores and in the retail network. The end of the master’s thesis deals with proposals of solutions for the future development of the retail department in selected company.

The first part of the paper consists of theoretical foundations to the given issue. Furthermore, the characterization of the chosen company and its strategic analysis follow. The main part of the thesis is focused on an execution of benchmarking – a comparison of the selected company with three competitors. Finally, the achieved outcomes and recommendations for the company are stated in conclusion.

This diploma thesis focuses on the economic analysis of controlling of liquidity and cash flow in selected enterprise. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first and the second part deal with theory of controlling, especially with its development, classification and the ways of getting data from particular indicators. The third part is dedicated to analysis of the current situation of liquidity controlling and cash flow in selected enterprise. The last part of my thesis summarizes previous findings and presents potential solutions, such as introduction of structured reporting, more critical approach in the system of managing the liabilities and debts and creating the plan of specific indicators for the next terms.

The diploma thesis deals with the application of selected mathematical and statistical methods in the development of economic software for KPS Metal a. s. The proposed program is created in Microsoft Office Excel using the programming language Visual Basic. On the basic of the results of financial analysis of economic indicators are proposals recommendations for improving the current state of the company.

The thesis concems about investments and their effectiveness. The goal of the thesis is to find out whether it is worth to make the investment. The project deals with the reconstruction of a public cultural house in which three new apartments are build into. Cost of reconstruction, rental rates will be quantified and then mortage loan will be determined. This information wil be used for further calculations and the result will be an evaluation of the investment. The result of this work is to determine if the investment is really effective.

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with problems of development projects, individual phases of the project and their risks. It also describes different ways of financing and examines indicators for assessing the economic efficiency of investments. The second part is a feasibility study that solves a particular development project. The study is based on the theoretical part and examines the various options of the project solution - its financing, cash flow, economic indicators, schedule and budget of the project. The study defines the conditions under which the project is realizable. The data obtained from the feasibility study can therefore be used as a basis for a possible investment.

The diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of a selected internationally operating company. The work consists of a total of three parts, while the theoretical part mentions concepts related to the assessment of financial health. The analytical part includes an analysis of the current state of the company and the market. And in the last part, a proposal to improve the financial situation of the selected company is addressed.

This thesis deals with the financial situation of the company INTERHOTEL VORONĚŽ Inc. within the years 2001 and 2005 on the basis of selected methods of the financial analysis. It determines problems and proposes possible solutions which result in the improvement of the financial situation of the firm in the following years.

The diploma work contains drafts for the improvement of the current position, which should be made to increase the market value in the long time period, the basic goal of each firm.
