This document aims on presentation of energy audit of water networks. Its focus is to introduce the method of solving the energy audit of water networks. It characterizes the water networks performance using context and efficiency indicators. It consists of theoretical description of mathematical approach to the problem. It describes different kinds of energies participating in water distribution process and also presents energy indicators which describe energetic efficiency of water networks. Last but not least it shows the possibilities of accomplishment the energy audit of water network on numerical example. Then we can find the assessment of each of indicators and kinds of energies. Context indicators describe topography of water network and efficiency indicators show how efficient in terms of using input energy is the behavior of the water networks. The case application of the approach of solving energy audit of water networks as well as indicators assessment can be found in the last part of the thesis. This thesis brings basic overview of the approach to the solution of energy audit of water networks. May it help the future application of the energy audit of water networks in the Czech Republic.

This diploma thesis analyzes the financial situation of the company ZEVOS Inc. and suggestions for its improvement. It is dividedin to three parts: theoretical, analytical and cystom designs. In this thesis are applied to financial analysis. On this basis, it made a proposal that leads to an improved financial situation.

Title of thesis: Comparison of indicators of the game performance in the aspects of performance development for girls teams U15 - U17 Aims of thesis: The aim of my thesis is to compare game performance indicators for the girls basketball team Sokol Nusle. Results from the seasons 2011/2012 and 2013/2014 are examined. The minor goal of the thesis is to compare indicators of the game performance features of three chosen players. Methods of thesis: The main method is direct registered observation using the "Basketball scoring sheets". We analysed sheets and we compared the achieved values. Result of thesis: Based on our study, we found that the observed team Sokol Nusle is changing gaming performance indicators in a positive way. This thesis examined an ability of the scoreboard indicators created by the European Commission to capture macroeconomic imbalances expressed as the changes of GDP. We conducted an empirical analysis for panel data of 27 EU countries in the 1997-2011 period. We adopted three different dynamic panel data models based on the three estimators: the Arrelano- Bond, the Arrelano-Bover and the corrected LSDV estimator. Our results suggest that despite some bad characteristics of our dataset we can conclude that some of the indicators such as 3- year average of current account balance or percentage change in export market shares seem to be inadequate for measuring the imbalances. Moreover, the indicators were proved not to be able to predict an occurrence of imbalances.

This thesis deals with a company performance management method in compliance with the key performance indicators. It addresses the KPIs' characteristics as well as the design process of the indices and their implementation procedures. It does not only rest with a description of the method itself but it also focuses on the related areas of the research such as managers' approach towards the corporate performance management or the business intelligence discipline. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on building the model that makes it possible to design the KPIs with an emphasis on a successful delivery of the entire project. The methodology is based on a selection of the right indicators and application of the implementation techniques leading to a successful completion of the project. A special attention is dedicated to the CPM concept as a basic principal from which the key indicators derive. The practical part addresses the respective design of the KPIs. First of all, the KPIs are suggested to a banking institution. Afterwards, these indicators are confronted with the model drawn up in the theoretical part. The indicators are assessed consequently. The main contribution of this thesis is a development of a model that can serve as a guide for a proper KPIs design in a company and can add to a successful completion of the indicators' implementation. The findings of the research conducted for the purpose of this thesis could be put to use by the corporate managers who are interested in approaching the performance management methods also assessed in this dissertation.

The thesis deals with the analysis of the management of the Dalešice brewery. The thesis is focused on the financial aspect of the company, which is analyzed by using financial analysis tools and the non-financial factors that influence the existence of the brewery. The results of the financial indicators are compared with the results of the whole brewing industry. Based on the analyzes, solutions are proposed to eliminate possible inefficiencies and recommendations for the future development of the brewery.

The work is focused on using bankruptcy models and appropriate selected indicators on the data set used, and it identifies how crucial it can be for an enterprise to use an inappropriate model or indicators to decide whether to enter into liquidation or insolvency, and how these business aid indicators can prevent larger business damages that would occur if the risk was ignored. It adds value to controlling activities and can influence the possible prediction of the development of financial problems in the enterprise. Selected models and indicators are tested on a database of companies, which is divided into two groups - bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy. It compares the results of the model evaluation by including the gray zone intervals in the calculation with the results when these intervals are removed. The individual models' reliability is tested both on individual groups and in individual years 2013 to 2017. Selected indicators are tested on the bankruptcy group, which best correlates with reality and confirms the correct selection of indicators for possible prediction of bankruptcy

Subject The current lifestyle of most children and adults is characterized by sedentary lifestyle. Research shows that physical activity among children is decreasing while aging, (Bunc, 2004) which causes gaining the body fat, loosing physical fitness and overall resulting in overweight and obesity (eg Brettschneider, Naul, 2007; Malina, Bouchard, 1991; Roche et al., 1996). This lack of physical activity leads to a decrease in physical fitness as global phenomena (Malina 2004; Reed et al., 2006; Tomkinson, 2007), urges the increase in overweight and obesity, or causes certain health problems. One way to examine the level of lifestyle and the quality of life of children and adults is the body composition. This knowledge can contribute to determine the health of the individual and its physical ability. Objective To describe changes in somatic indicators and selected body composition parameters that are related to age and gender among younger school age children. To find out the correlation among somatic indicators, age and parameters of the body composition of children of both genders and to discover dominant factors affecting the body composition in both genders. Hodnocení finančního zdraví firmy na základě horizontální, vertikální a poměrové analýzy, dále komplexní rozbor pomocí bonitního modelu, indexu důvěryhodnosti, Altmanova modelu a ekonomické přidané hodnoty. Práce se také zabývá porovnáním firmy s konkurencí podnikající v oboru a historií zkoumaného podniku.

This thesis economically analyses the company Výtahy, s.r.o. First there are some pages about the company itself, what it produces, few words about its history and crucial moments and the situation on the market. In the theoretical part the chosen methods of economic analysis are depicted. Practical part focuses on the company Výtahy, s.r.o. The horizontal and vertical analysis of the assets, liabilities and profit and loss account is shown. There is a calcuation of net working capital and its demand. The effectiveness of the company is measured also by a system of logical inequations. Important part is devoted to ratio indexes -- rates of profit, return on sales or assets, solidity of the firm, equity ratio or turnaround period of assets or inventories. The economic value added is counted by two methods -- with the model from Department of industry and trade and with the net operating profit after tax model. I applied several of financial health models to predict and analyse, if the company is doing good or bad. I compared the competing companies among themselves through the last five years based on four criteria. And I used three methods for the final order of the companies. The last comparison is done thru Spider analysis and it shows the economical situation of three Czech elevator companies in last two years.
