This thesis addresses a new management approach - "Corporate Performance Management" (CPM). It sets forth the concept of this new approach as a business performance monitoring and strategic support tool, its assumptions, framework, components, relationship to business intelligence, and related methodologies. Particular focus is placed on "key performance indicators" (KPI), their characteristics, segmentation, methods for their selection, and implementation procedures. The theoretical part of this work is devoted to creating a methodology by which CPM can be effectively implemented on projects in the financial sector with an emphasis on the critical success factors of such a project as a whole. The primary elements of this methodology are the selection of the best possible metrics, the project's overall success and the development of efficient reporting. The practical part of this work initially introduces "Project KPI 2008", which ran in Komerční banka (Czech Commercial Bank), then pits it against the theoretical methodologies defined in the theoretical section. The entire project is then assessed based on the results of the comparison, and finally, conclusions and recommendations are made for the future of this project. The main asset of this thesis is its creation of the afore-mentioned management methodologies and the ideal, course to be taken in implementing a KPI-focused project. This work is valuable not only for investigating key performance indicators themselves, but also as an informative tool for managers who would like to acquaint themselves with or learn more about the CPM concepts in general.

The goal of the thesis is to analyze the financial situation of the company Pivovary Staropramen a.s. and to establish its efficiency for the needs of the management. Using the methods of financial analysis, the thesis means to identify the factors which determined the present financial results and find such solutions, that would lead to the improvement of the company results for the future.

The aim of the thesis is through the selected analysis analyze the functioning and financing of health centre.

The main object of this thesis is to review financial situation of the company Grammer CZ by using financial analysis method. The thesis contains theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical module includes determination of the theoretic-methodological data, which serve as basis of processing financial analysIs of selected company. The practical module includes horizontal and vertical analysis of financial reports, analysis of basic ratio indicators and analysis of economic value added (EVA) of the company. The final values are compared with averages in branch, in which the selected company is working.

The diploma paper dissert on external financial analysis, that is proccessed on the basis of data of statement of balances. First it is focused on the description of informations included in financial statements and second on financial analysis (above all on techniques of horizontal and vertical analysis and analysis of ratios indicators). The result of this paper is practical application on the company VODNÍ DÍLA - TBD a.s.

Focus of the thesis is financial analysis in credit analysis process. It evaluates a relevance of liquidity and ability of a company to generate cash flow to repay its debt and interests. It shows financial analysis of a company, cash flow analysis and the meaning of finantial rations from the bank point of view. It describes Erste Group Bank methodology and aplies to Telefonica O2 Business Solutions ltd.

The diploma paper dissert on financial analysis, that is processed on the basis of data of annual report and statement of balances. First part is focused on the charakterization methods of financial analysis and typical indicators for insurance company. The second part of this paper is practical application on the insurance company Česká pojišťovna,a.s.

Práce se zabývá mezipodnikovým srovnáním vybraného segmentu stavebních podniků v letech 2006 až 2008. Hodnotí vzájemné finanční postavení podniků se specializací na dopravní stavby za použití jednokriteriálních i vícekriteriálních metod, rozčleňuje podniky do skupin pomocí klasifikační metody a definuje přednosti a nedostatky v oblasti jejich finančního řízení.

The aim of this dissertation was to carry out a financial analysis of M-MOOS, s.r.o.. This company mainly conducts general overhauls of machine tools. The dissertation is divided into five main parts. The first, theoretical part, depicts the various methods and indicators used in financial analysis. The next three parts describe the history of M-MOOS, s.r.o., it's line of business and microenvironment. The last, practical part, conducts a financial analysis of the company by using the various methods and tools already described. Furthermore, it suggests possible ways that could solve ascertained deficiencies.

The present diploma thesis deals with HR controlling, which represents an effective way for organizations to monitor and assess quantitative and qualitative indicators. HR controlling is an efficient means of demonstrating the contribution of HR managers not only to their departments but also to the overall aims of organizations. The first part of the thesis defines basic theoretical prerequisites concerning the importance of HR management in organization efficiency, the HR system and HR controlling. The analytical part of the thesis begins with the presentation of the BUZULUK, a.s. company. The principal part of the thesis is comprised of a situational analysis, the definition of the needs of internal HR department customers and a new conception of personal indicators. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the present approach of the BUZULUK, a.s. company to efficiency assessment in the field of human resources and, based on this, to propose a system of efficiency indicators, which might ultimetely help the implementation of HR controlling in the aforementioned company.
