This thesis focuses on the evaluation of Air Bank a.s. on the market and contains a comparison of the bank with its competitors. Furthermore, the assessment uses selected indicators of financial analysis which take into account the specifics of banking. Based on the data obtained from the evaluation, the paper provides recommendations to improve the current economic situation of the bank.

The thesis deals with the comparison of the accuracy of methods used for valuation of the construction of the kindergarten. The theoretical part defines basic terms used in thesis and those related to the topic. Individual methods used for appraisal under construction are presented and described. In practical part, selected methods are applied to a concrete example of partially costructed Kamechy kindergarten in two phases of building process. In order to determine whether price differences among different valuation methods change over time, an appraisal is performed for two different price levels - for years 2014 and 2018. Based on comparison, analysis and evaluation of partial and overall results of the evaluation, accuracy of all appraisal methods used for valuation of partially constructed kindergarten are calculated and determined.

The aim of the Diploma thesis on the topic „Evaluation of the financial situation of a selected international company and proposals for its improvement“ is the elaboration and evaluation of the financial situation of Aircraft Industries, a.s., a leading Czech manufacturer of commercial aircraft, for the period 2014 to 2018. This thesis is divided into three main parts. In the first part is processed the theoretical background needed to perform a financial analysis. The second part contains general information about the analyzed company and the actual processing of the financial analysis. Based on the results, the last part of this thesis proposes measures and recommendation to improve the financial situation of the company.

Some results are then used for statistical analysis to determine the possible development of indicators in the next two years or to determine the dependence between certain indicators. The last part includes proposals to improve the current economic situation of the selected company.

The thesis is focused on the statistical analysis of the continuity of power distribution in a specified part of the distribution network. Its aim is to explain the basic concepts and calculations in reliability distribution of electrical energy, which is an essential element for improving the quality of electricity supplied to end customers. The work is divided into two parts (theoretical part and a practical part), which are further divided into chapters and subchapters according to individual areas of focus. In the introduction the explains the aim and content of the of chapters work. You are also given a specific issue and its explanation. The conclusion summarizes the results of the practical part.
