Fischerova, B. Disadvantaged areas of the South Moravian Region according to selected demographic and economic indicators. Diploma theses, Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The subject of the diploma theses is evaluation situation in the disadvantaged areas of the South Moravian Region according to selected demographic and economic indicators in the years 2005 till 2015. In this timeframe the indicators of population trends, economic load index/economic dependence index, level of entrepreneurial activity and unemployment rate are being analyzed in more detail and a comparison of individual territories within South Moravian Region is made. On the basis of the identification of the intra-regional differences of the South Moravian Region, four administrative districts of the municipality have been selected (in particular SO ORP Hodonín, Kyjov, Moravský Krumlov, Veselí nad Moravou) to examined in detail according to the same indicators and for the same time period. The analysis shows that four selected disadvantaged areas implement the characteristics of the peripherals and thus fall into the problematic areas of the South Moravian Region. In conclusion, therefore, measures are proposed for the development of the particular SO ORP and the integration of disadvantaged areas in order to reduce the regional disparities.

The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the performance of the selected construction company. The theoretical part deals mainly with the methodology and concepts within financial analysis. It describes its purpose, sources of data, the process and characterizes indicators. Terms construction company and construction market are also explained. The case study analyses selected construction company and compare the significant financial indicators with values of the construction industry.

This diploma thesis deals with the problems surrounding costing variants of building constructions, as well as creating an itemized budget for a single house in civil engineering. The first part of the thesis focuses on theory divided into two sections. The first section looks into the pricing in the civil engineering sector, the second contains explanations of technical terms related to the thesis. The second part of the thesis focuses on practical solutions to the researched topic of creating an itemized budget for a new building. Costing variants of projected buildings are proposed while meeting the projected thermal insulation parameters. New itemized budgets are created on the basis of chosen costing variants evaluating their price and how time demanding they are. Itemized budgets are used to create price indicators of a built-up area, a usable area, a living area, and an enclosed area.

Subject In professional literature progressive development of postural stability related to the age during the childhood is documented which is characterized by decline of amplitude and speed deviations. The postural stability becomes similar to adults by primary school children, specifically in the age of 7 to 10 (Shumway-Cook, Woollacott, 2001) and children switch to more accurate strategy of postural control. The period of primary school is described as positive for motor development. Performance in this period is most considerably influenced by biogenetic factors which include growth factors as for instance body height, weight and body composition. An appropriate movement routine with an adequate amount and quality of movement activity is important for development of children's organism by primary school children. Objective The aim of this work is to describe the changes of chosen parameters of postural stability which are related to the age and gender of primary school children and to submit to analysis the changes in chosen parameters of postural stability in connection with somatic characteristics, movement abilities and movement activity. The diploma thesis evaluates the financial situation of the company LogiCall Česká republika, s.r.o. from 2008 to 2012. In the theoretical part, the methods of financial analysis are described. In the practical part, the financial situation of the company is evaluated using chosen indicators. The aim of this thesis is to suggest changes and measures which will improve the current situation and increase competitiveness of the company.

This diploma thesis mainly focuses on the assessment/evaluation of external and internal surroundings/environment of a specific company between years 2012 and 2016. The first part of these defines theoretical constructs that are then applied in the practical part of the thesis. The external environment was analyzed using PESTLE analysis method and the Porter's Five Forces model. The financial analysis from 2012-2016 was used for the analysis of the internal surroundings. Based on the overall assessment/evaluation of the company surroundings/environment the author applies SWOT analysis and proposes several steps for the improvement.
