"The purpose of this study is to inquire into the adequacy of the training offered by the Florida State University Library School for the positions its graduates fill. During the little more than six years of its existence, from June 17, 1947 to August 15, 1953, the school has granted ninety Master's degrees. It has also awarded forty-eight librarian certificates for thirty semester hours of class work, and 101 teacher-librarian certificate for twelve semester hours of planned professional training. Tem como objetivo compreender a tessitura da pesquisa em parceria, Universidade e Escola, potencializadora da formação continuada dos sujeitos implicados. O estudo tem cunho qualitativo e é ancorado na concepção dialógica freireana e na perspectiva do pensamento complexo. Utiliza-se para coleta dos dados do diário de campo, do correio eletrônico e da entrevista semi-estruturada. As dimensões analíticas centram-se nas características e paradigma da pesquisa em parceria; nos princípios orientadores da mesma: dialógico, recursivo e hologramático; e, nos impactos decorrentes de seu exercício, com implicações na formação dos sujeitos e em diferentes instituições onde atuam. Os autores principais que ajudam na tessitura da fundamentação teórica são Brandão (2003), Cunha (2008), Freire (1997, 2000, 2002), Morin (1996, 2005, 2007, 2008), Tardif (2000) e Triviños (2008). Ob / This dissertation broaches the partnership between University and School, and privileges the said and done of eight people from a research group. It aims at comprehending the texture of the research as partnership, University and School, potentiality the continuing education of the involved people. The study has a qualitative approach and it is anchored in Freire’s dialogical view of complex thinking. For data collection it was used the field notes, email and semi-structured interview. The analytical dimensions focus on the features and the paradigm of the research in partnership; in its guiding principles: dialogical, recursive and hologramatic; and, in the impacts from its exercise, with implications on the subject’s formation and in different institutions where they work.
