Tiggare/tiggeri är fenomen som blivit allt vanligare i vårt svenska samhälle. Samtidigt som företeelsen av tiggare/tiggeri blivit mer synlig har även röster som kräver ett förbud av tiggeri höjts. Märkbart är hur det via social media sprids budskap med starka argument som belyserden problematik många människor upplever med tiggeriet. Via social media skapas uppslutningar med olika mål, som växer och frodas i nätets öppna rum. Syftet med vår studie är att få en förståelse för vad en sammanslutning av människor, i detta fall ett Facebook evenemang, kan generera i form av kommunikativ praktik samt vilken inverkan social media kan ha i frågan om dess förmåga att sprida ett budskap. Vi vill sedermera förstå uppropet och det budskap som förmedlas samt se till hur social media spelat roll fördess utveckling. Med en netnografiskt inspirerad forskningsmetod undersöker vi det socialaliv och samspel som sker online, men inom ett begränsat rum, det vill säga det evenemang vivalt att studera. Vår teoretiska referensram utgår från Canettis teori om massan makt vilken viknyter an till vårt nätverksamhälle och till sociala medier. Vidare utgår vi från begreppetFraming vilket är en kulturell inramning vilken beskriver hur sociala rörelser konstrueras, tolkas och beskriver verkligheten, samt rörelsens egen roll. Ur ett sociologiskt perspektiv vill vi förstå uppropet "Förbjud tiggeriet nu", dess budskap samthur dess mobilisering skedde inom ett offentligt rum som Facebook. Resultatet visar på hur ett budskap växer fram, hur det förmedlas och hur det sprids samt vilken stark förmåga till mobilisering ett offentligt evenemang på social media har.

This study aims to examine how the medial attention looks like through a quantitative content analysis based on the variables: presentation, focus, type of person and the text of the following call: #tystnadtagning, #utantystnadsplikt, #givaktochbitihop and #vikokaröver in the Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet Webb and Expressen Webb. This is investigated on the basis of Agenda setting and theories of news evaluation. The conclusions emerged from this study are that #tystnadtagning has received the largest media attention, one reason why #tystnadtagning has received the most attention can be because it was the first call to be published. The newspapers focus most on personal and problematic articles and it is reported most about public figures. The most widely used texts are interview, closely followed by news articles. Based on the theoretical assumptions used in this study, one reason why #tystnadtagning has received the most attention is due to the news evaluation´s elite centering and agenda setting priority of object or event

The former industrial area Called Lövholmen in Stockholm is in a state of transformation, it is about to open up to the public for the first time in over a hundred years. The idea from the municipality and the property owners is to develop a new housing area and a majority of the remaining buildings is planned to be demolished. The suggestion received a lot of criticism and has sparked local people to engage with the future of Lövholmen and an organisation was founded called FOCUS LÖVHOLMEN, UPPROP NITROLACK. When the demolition permit on Nitrolack factory was filed, Upprop Nitrolack started a petition to stop it and (together with other organisations and institutions) successfully appealed the permit for now.  This project aims to explore the transformation of an existing structure, in an attempt to repurpose and reconfigure a structure in an ever-evolving urban context and to accept change as a part of creation. Two former industrial buildings in a typical post industrial site is set to be transformed into a new public space for Lövholmen. The project aims to discuss a series of questions:  -How can Nitrolackfabriken and Förbandsfabriken be repurposed?  -What spatial qualities can be achieved by engaging with existing structures? -How can architectural and historical qualities be preserved while transforming a place and adding new elements? -How can both change and preservation be considered simultaneously?
