Formulace podnikové strategie / Business Strategy Formulation

The thesis is focused on formulation a draft strategy of a company; the chosen company is named PRAGOTRADE Ltd., which conducts business in the field of recycling of constructional and demolition waste. The first part of the thesis is made of theoretical outputs, as basics for strategy creation, stemming from expert publications. Practical part starts with presenting the company and the type of its business. For evaluation of current condition was used strategy analysis, external and internal environment were examined separately. Evaluation of findings is summed up in matrix IE, from which are generated possible alternatives. Optimal company strategy was chosen by using decision-making method, which is related to the previous results. Final output from used methods is recommended for implementation with possible draft of feasibility and defence of workability.

The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the inner and outer environment of a given company and to formulate a concrete strategy using the methods of strategic management. In the theoretical part of the thesis the most important terms of strategic management are presented. In the practical part of the thesis a situation analysis is done, using the stakeholder analysis, PEST analysis, Porter's five forces analysis, analysis of strategy maps, identification of sources and competencies and analysis of competitiveness. Synthesis of the partial outcomes of the different analyses is provided by SWOT analysis. The chosen organization has been found to be weakly competitive. After taking into consideration the positive development of the czech economy and other opportunities from the outer environment it is recommended to enlarge the spectrum of available services and to eliminate the other organization's weaknesses. Also the individual strategic goals and other recommendations are outlined. The formulated strategy is a development of the existing products in the current market.

The theme of this thesis is the evaluation of the economical development of the consolidated group of Czech Railways in the 2005 -- 2009 period. The first part of this work introduces the structure and history of the group in the years 2005 -- 2009. This part is followed by the financial analysis itself. The financial analysis is divided into three parts: the basic methods, the bankruptcy prediction models and the analysis based on the Quelle methodology. The last part of this thesis is focused on the future prospectives and the transformation program Vize 2012 (Vision 2012).

The thesis is divided into theoretical and application part, which is then divided according to business activity of the company. Terms as mission, vision and goals and explained in the theoretical part. Principles of strategic management and conduction of strategic analysis are also described. Types of strategy from renowned authors and specifications of family companies are then introduced. The theoretical part furthermore consists of quotations from famous personalities, which emphasize on importance of strategy creation. The application part introduces Bristec cz, its business activities and main supplier. Then, strategic analysis is conducted on both ventilation systems and physiotherapy. After analysis follow creation of company's mission and vision and evaluation of business portfolio. The application part is concluded by strategic recommendations for the company.

This diploma thesis is focused on a strategic management activity in companies. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are strategic management process analysis, settings of strategic management principles and description of phases forming the whole process as well. Moreover analysis methods are specified that are used to obtain relevant information supporting each step of strategy design process. The selected strategy design concept is compared with other alternative management methodology. The main contribution of the thesis is in methodology area of elaboration of strategy and application of analytic tools to a real operating enterprise. The aim is to determine an enterprise itself at the market, performing of analysis to gain information for elaborating of the set of strategies. One of these strategies is further elaborated to the level of possible measured and monitored objectives. This summary of information forms the fundamental for possible implementation of company strategy. The thesis does not aspire to provide general manual for solving strategic management of a company. It's as much irrelevant as elaborating the strategy at the level of particular activities. The main purpose is to point out a complexity of problems of a strategic management, to provide basic information and refer to sources with more thorough interpretation and to present a practical illustration of the whole process. The result of this process might be used as a primary information source for elaborating of company's own strategy.

This diploma thesis aims to describe the development of educational policy in the Czech Republic since the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries to 2017 and at the same time to compare the vision of educational policy in electoral programs of political groupings, which in 2017 won more than 5% of votes and thus exceeded the limit set by law for joining the Chamber of Deputies. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the development of educational policy from 1999 to 2017, in which it takes into account the political situation in the country and its impact on education policy. With the help of analysis and interviews, the research part seeks to compare the visions of the educational policy of political parties currently represented in the Chamber of Deputies. Studie možností rozvoje vybraných obcí mikroregionu Slezská Harta

The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out landscape vision of the population -- citizens and mayors of selected municipalities of microregion Slezská Harta. Four villages, which are in the process urban planning, were selected. The municipalities were analysed by socioeconomics analysis and SWOT analysis. Also questionnaires were made -- both for citizens and mayors of the villages. Finally the measures and program activities are proposed -- they will help with local development of the municipalities. Survey shows, that 2/3 respondents wish space for their peaceful life, 1/2 wish space for tourism and 1/3 wish space for environment protection. Urban plans disagree with landscape vision of citizens. Therefore are proposed changes of the problematic points and other specific measures which lead to the development of communities.

The thesis “Strategy for developing collaboration with strong individual donors” examines possibilities of successful collaboration of art projects and strong individual donors. An individual donor is a person with own needs and motives which drive his or her decisions and actions. Motivation is therefore the principal framework of this paper. In the first part, the author focuses on obtaining insight into the theory of motivation, which forms an essential basis for the activation of actions and decisions. The result is a typology which can be applied in the analysis of needs and motives of donors. A strategic management toolbox and strategic planning process enable active management of motivation. Another part of the thesis examines how strategic management and planning tools allow for studying the needs and addressing them in an effective manner. The author directs his attention mainly at the mission and vision of the organisation, strategic goals and the way of their achievement. The study of sources of theory and practice culminates with the postulation of hypotheses which the author proceeds to test in practice. The author analyses the motivation of donors for collaborating with art projects; readiness of these projects to negotiate with donors; and their capacity to deploy strategic management tools to successfully negotiate and develop the relationship. The work presents a set of case studies whose purpose is to describe the status quo and test how an agent, who combines knowledge of art projects and donors, influences the process of preparation and negotiation with donors.
