Sokol is a body movement organisation that has undergone many changes during its almost 160 years of existence and has been banned several times by the state power. However, she always cared for and supported Miroslav Tyrš`s legacy. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the offer of exercices for the age category of youngs in Sokol. Using a retrospective method, the history of Sokol over the last almost 160 years of its existence is briefly described. Based on a comparison of the ongoing number of divisions and the development of the membership base, the development from the renewal of Sokol in 1990 to the present years is evaluated, focusing on the selected age category. A questionnaire survey is chosen as the analytical method, which was sent electronically to the individual units. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, previously established hypotheses were disproved or confirmed, which were based on academic work or other available literature. It is confirmed that the membership base of student categories has been growing since the 1990s, despite slight fluctuations. The most significant growth was in the period around the "Sokol slet", in which these age categories regularly participate. Bc. Pavla Svobodová: Financial resources of social enterprises - vision and reality (2012) Abstract The theme of my thesis is looking into problems with social enterprise financing. Well set up concept of social enterprise financing is equally maintained with it's importance in foreign countries as well as the Czech republic. Based on research, my aim was to find the ideal concept of social enterprise financing and to test it on a chosen sample of Czech social enterprises. In the section "Social enterprise in the third sector and its funding" I explain the overview of financial definitions of foreign social enterprise and their focus on the funding. In here I am also deciding on my own perception of this issue - well mainly the ideal funding resources for social enterprise. This section also covers a "lighter" version of the ideal concept of social enterprise financing from a Czech point of view and explains various studies focusing on social enterprise financing currently available. The empirical section focuses on analysis of financing of chosen social enterprises and verifies the ideal concept in the Czech republic. The escalation of my thesis is a devised proposal which could seriously support the financial stability for Czech social enterprise.

This dissertation work examines the role of strategic management in the non-profit sector on the example of the Berg Orchestra, which is a chamber orchestra specializing in contemporary classical music. A theoretical analysis of several strategic planning models is presented, and the most appropriate is selected based on the general requirements of a non-profit organization. Applied specifically to the Berg Orchestra, the proposed strategy takes into account the various roles and activities of the orchestra.

This thesis was focused on culture and climate of selected public universities in the Czech Republic in the form stated in strategic materials. The goal was to analyse and compare key aspects of strategic materials of selected universities that influence their culture and climate. Selected strategic materials included vision, mission, values, long-term intent of the university and educational faculty, annual activity report and code of ethics. The sample consisted of eight universities whose part was an educational faculty. The method of quantitative content analysis was selected for the analysis of the documents. There were six priority areas identified through the analysis of the documents of the Ministry of Education and key words related to these priority areas. The analysis of university documents showed that organizational culture and climate are not much explicitly covered in their strategic documents, the most frequently emerging feature of organizational culture were values, therefore mainly aspects determining culture and climate were tracked. The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate a proposal for Strategic Development Plan of Třemošná for the years 20152025, in cooperation with city officials and company Novi Solutions, s.r.o. The partial aim of the thesis is to carry out a questionnaire survey among the inhabitants of the city and to elaborate a complete analysis of the city in the form of SWOT analysis according to priority areas. Furthermore, determination of the vision and the ensuing strategic objectives, measures, specific activities and indicators for their measurability.

This diploma thesis deals with the assessment of productivity in the company CHEDO, Ltd. The activity field of this company comprises distribution of coating materials. The analysis used in the theoretical part inspects the position of the company from the view of effectiveness of the business process with the emphasis especially on the negative findings. With the method Balanced Scorecard we are given the right direction towards the behaviour and attitude of the company towards the process of management control in order to increase the performance of the company on the market to achieve adequate financial stability.

In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on terms related to the strategy of a company and on possibilities and methods used in the analysis itself. The main goal of the practical part of the thesis is to find, if the sales problems and interconnected decline in revenues in a company KSB, spol. s r. o, are caused by competitors and custormes, which is the opinion of its management. To solve the problem I used Porter's Five forces model, which includes other forces (supliers, new entrants and substitutes), that could also play a part in the aforementioned negative situation.

The work consists of two parts: theoretical and analytical. The first part covers the theoretical foundations related to the strategic management process and information about the specifics of strategic management in a small business, as well as the specifics of small business in Russia. The analytical part includes the description of the industry of the chosen company, an introduction to its history, determination of the mission, vision, objectives, the strategic analysis of the company, proposal of possible strategic alternatives and determination of the resulting strategy. Thesis is focused on strategic management and practical experiences of the author, which are gathered during his study, employment in the software company and his business. The aim of the thesis is to create a business plan up to 2016. In the theoretical part, author focuses on the comparison of various definitions of entrepreneurship, strategic corporate management and startup establishment. The beginning of the practical part describes company and its products. Next chapter forms definition of the market category, market and strategic analysis. The result of the analysis is projected to marketing strategy. Chapter people and financial plan eventually gives readers a realistic picture of the company's ambitions.
