Kult štíhlosti a jeho proměny s nástupem Instagramu / The cult of thinness and how it was changed by Instagram

Kamlerová, Kateřina January 2020 (has links)
The main goal of the thesis is to find out whether there is a connection between Instagram usage and a change in the perception of one's own body image, more specifically an increase in dissatisfaction with one's own physical appearance. The supporting goals are to map the individual factors arising from this dissatisfaction and to describe the solutions that Instagram users have adopted to achieve the dream appearance. Through qualitative research, specifically by analysing in-depth interviews with bloggers presenting extreme slenderness on social networks, the life stories of respondents are analysed in order to reveal how interest in body shape developed in the presence of social networks and new media. The interviews reveal the interest of Instagram users in watching and sharing photos presenting extreme slenderness and clarify their connection to eating disorders. Instead of triggering such diseases, Instagram manifests itself as a tool for maintaining and remaining in a new mental and physical condition. By publishing photographs showing a very thin body, women assure themselves of their own attractiveness, and thus also influence their self-presentation, which results in an equivalent relationship of satisfaction from slenderness and satisfaction from their self presentation.

These platforms are capable of measurement the level of postural stability by recording stance excursions in multiple directions. This thesis makes efforts to review the level of the possible future inclusion of different walking types in the process of physical therapy among older patients, regarding to improve the postural stability as well as the fall prevention in these patients. The next goals of this diploma thesis are to determine which type of walking appears to be the most efficient comprising the fall prevention as well as to assess the optimal frequency of the ordinary walking performance to achieve the same objective. Vývoj jakosti povrchových vod v pramenných povodích Berounky / The development of water quality in the headwaters of Berounka River catchments area

Wild, Aleš January 2021 (has links)
The paper describes the development of water quality based on selected pollution indicators in the source catchments of the Berounka River (Mže catchment, Radbuza catchment, Úhlava catchment and Úslava catchment of selected sub-catchments) on profiles located above the water quality monitoring profile Bukovec on the Berounka River from 1981 to 2019. Furthermore, the flow dependence during the monitored period and from it the predominant type of pollution in the given catchment is determined on the basis of the course of regression curves and the value of the coefficient of determination R2 . Based on the average annual concentrations, the evolution of the given pollution indicators on selected profiles is described for the longest possible monitoring period for which water quality data are available. Their evolution within a calendar year can be determined when the flow rate is exceeded. By means of mass transport, the actual amount of pollutants can be determined on the basis of the concentration and the flow rate. The specific mass transport then express the intensity of removal from an area of 1 km2 for a given time interval, which has been chosen here as well as the pollutant loads for one year. The observed results are then converted into graphical output. Based on the data, it is possible to...

The model was comparison with a straight computational model of the bridge. It is made comparison effect of the construction bridge in stages on the size of the internal forces too. The load-bearing structure was checked according to CSN EN 1992-1-1, CSN EN 1992-2 and CSN 73 6214.
