Morální aspekty v uvažování gymnazistů o dalším profesním směřování / Moral Factors And Their Influence Upon Career Choices of High School Students

Lukášová, Hana January 2014 (has links)
The subject of this research, namely career choice of high school graduates, has been considered from the position of moral reasoning. Qualitative analysis of data collected from interviews carried out with 32 graduates identifies career choice to be a significant factor determining the identity of each graduate. The research is based on assumption that moral reasoning is nourished by each one's identity and loyality to oneself, respectively. The basis of this career identity is formed by so called "inveteracy", reflected by various ways in individual's attempt to make a choice that is authentic. Categorically speaking, there exist "plots", that make career selection process complicated, as well as "problematizations", that make any authentic choice virtually impossible. Career choice is interpreted by means of three domains throughout which it becomes apparent both how this process fosters the individual's relationship with the outside world, with those closest to him/her and with himself/herself and what kind of affect this relationship has on his/her very identity. During the research, career choice turns out to be a continual and complex process that far surpasses the actual period of submitting a college application.

The last part of the marketing research consists of in-depth interviews with the same sample of respondents mentioned above, for each sample of respondents there are 10 in-depth interviews. For in-depth interviews, respondents have also evaluated selected university promotional tools. Based on the results, students' behaviour has been analysed and described, and recommendations for universities based in the Moravian and Silesian region have been proposed. Prorogační a rozhodčí doložky v mezinárodním obchodě / Prorogation and arbitration clauses in international trade

Rubicková, Michaela January 2021 (has links)
The thesis is dealing with prorogation and arbitration clauses in international trade, focusing on Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (Brussels I bis) and on the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards. In particular, the thesis aims to describe the procedure of valid negotiation and the formation of clauses, including the analysis of possible interpretation issues. The common objective of the prorogation clauses as a choice of court agreements and arbitration clauses, is to determine who and where should have the jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising between the parties and to reinforce their legal certainty. The outcome of the work is therefore to verify the hypothesis that the conclusion of such clauses really strengthens the legal certainty of the parties. Regarding the prorogation clauses, the theoretical level is supplemented by a practical insight into the whole issue in the form of an analysis of the Court of Justice of the European Union case law. Regarding arbitration clauses, the aim is to provide a certain international overview, to outline generally applicable principles and to point...

Otta, Šimon January 2022 (has links)
Decision, intervention and inaction of an administrative authority and choice of a type of action The topic of the thesis is the analysis of the basic triad of types of actions applied in administrative judiciary, i.e. action against the decision, intervention and inaction of the administrative authority, as well as their blurred boundaries and the problems arising therefrom. The aim of the thesis is to present the given matters comprehensively, therefore it discusses not only the types of actions themselves, but also the administrative judiciary as such, the basic terms distinguishing the individual types of actions and an attempt to present possible solutions eliminating the problems arising from the necessity of choosing the type of action. The thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter is devoted to administrative judiciary and is further divided into six subchapters. The first subchapter is devoted to the basic types of administrative judiciary, on the basis of which the term of administrative judiciary itself is defined in the following text of this subchapter, which is followed by an introduction of the purpose of administrative judiciary in the third subchapter. The fourth subchapter is then devoted to the history of administrative judiciary and...

Zvědavá kamera očima jejích tvůrců / Curious camera through the eyes of its producers

Moulíková, Dominika January 2014 (has links)
The thesis explores certain aspects of Zvědavá kamera, a Czechoslovak television journal that belonged among the most progressive pieces of Czechoslovak television journalism in 60-ties. The thesis is based on interviews with 3 of the still living makers of the journal: Otka Bednářová, Vladimír Branislav, and Jaromír Kincl. Based on their testimony, contemporary documents, and available television archive material the main question is being answered as to why Zvědavá kamera was allowed to exist for such a long time despite being politically controversial and why the makers did not face repression much earlier. The most substantial episodes of the journal are being explored in detail, among all Volba povolání (The Choice of Profession) by Otka Bednářová, Spor (Dispute) and Porota (Jury) by Vladimír Branislav and Jaromír Kincl. Based on the presented facts approaches are analyzed the makers took in order to make relatively free television journalism possible within the limits imposed on them by the totalitarian regime.

Genderová analýza učebnic "Občanské výchovy" (ve vztahu k povolání) / Gender analysis of Civics textbooks (in relation to choice of profession)

Lojková, Hana January 2014 (has links)
The goal of this master's thesis "Gender analysis of textbooks" (in relation to choice of profession) is to introduce a gender analysis of three textbooks "Civics Education" used in the 8th grade of primary schools. I focus on presence of gender stereotypes and gender prejudice that could influence a choice of further education of schoolboys and schoolgirls and therefore their choice of future profession. In the thesis I consider the general education system as one of the crucial socialization tool of the society. It represents an institution that keeps power to maintain gender stereotypes and at the same time has got the power to change them. I examine illustrations and texts of mentioned textbooks through gender optics, and using qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Přímá volba prezidenta ČR : důvody, podmínky, důsledky / Direct presidential election in Czech Republic

Ryčlová, Dorota January 2014 (has links)
- Direct presidential election in the Czech Republic: reasons, conditions, consequences This diploma thesis is concerned with different aspects of implementation of the direct presidential election in the Czech Republic. It is aimed to discover the actual reasons for passing the Constitutional Act No. 71/2012 Coll., which introduces this institute into the Czech constitutional system. For the purpose of doing so, the thesis is divided into three parts. The first one presents and evaluates particular arguments (historical, political, constitutional, legal etc.), which were used by the proponents of this institute on one hand and by its opponents on the other. The content of the second part is the most extensive as it follows up the comparison of bills attempting to implement the direct presidential election into the Constitutional Act since 2001 up to the present. Therefore this part contains thirteen bills in total, including the one, which later becomes the Act No. 71/2012 Coll. Individual bills are compared and contrasted. The pertinent political and social circumstances accompanying their origin are also briefly mentioned. As the result of this comparison the author comes to the conclusion that the true motive to pass the Constitutional Act No. 71/2012 Coll does not lie in its content or its...

Volba vzdělávací dráhy v adolescenci: role genderových stereotypů a identifikace s matematikou / Career choice in adolescence: role of gender stereotypes and identification with mathematics

Louda, Petr January 2015 (has links)
Career choice in education and the acquired/achieved level of education are factors that influence social status of men and women. Despite the fact that women, on average, currently achieve a higher level of education than men, women's marketplace status and their height of salary often do not correspond to it. One of the reasons is a low proportion of women in mathematics-related subjects. The aim of this research was to investigate the role of gender stereotypes and identification with mathematics in career choice. In the theoretical part of this thesis, I introduce the basic terms related to gender and gender stereotypes, the role gender plays in institutions and the potential causes of gender differences in the performance in mathematics. In the empirical part, I analyse data from a questionnaire study investigating career choice, level of identification with mathematics, attitudes to courses in the curriculum and the level of gender stereotypes in Czech adolescents. The results suggest few differences between girls and boys in these areas. However, the level of identification with mathematics and the level of gender stereotypes in the career area are related to the educational career choice.
