Příprava a charakterizace sulfurizovaných polymerů pro elektrochemické zdroje proudu / Synthesis and characterization of sulfurized polymers for electrochemical power sourcesSvoboda, Lukáš January 2019 (has links)
Batteries based on lithium-sulfur technology have the potential to increase the amount of stored energy in comparison with current lithium-ion systems while maintaining the same weight. Achieving this goal is possible due to the high theoretical energy density of sulfur, which exceeds the values of other materials used in batteries. However, these batteries suffer from several failing, which still hinder the practical use. The use of amorphous sulfur instead of its crystalline form might lead to increasing of durability and charge efficiency. Inverse vulcanization of sulfur seems to be the perspective method for the preparation of polymer sulfur because it prevents its recrystallization and stabilizes amorphous sulfur. The aim of this thesis is the preparation and study of properties of materials made of inverse vulcanized sulfur.

This diploma thesis deals with problematics of electrochemical power sources with focus on lithium accumulators, their construction and functioning priciple. It also discusses the safety of li-ion batteries with respect to their flammability. In addition, the flame retarders, which help to lower the flammability, are listed. The thesis describes Cyclic Voltammetry and Galvanostatic Cycling with Potencial which are lithium-ion cell measuring methods. In the last part, the influence of various flame retarders on negative electrode is compared based on the conducted tests.

Tištěný fotolektrochemický senzor modrého světla / Printed photoelectrochemical sensor for blue lightPapák, Jiří January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on electrochemical sensors to detect radiation in the blue region of the visible spectrum. As a semiconducting material for the manufacture of the sensor, a suspension of tungsten trioxide was found. The individual elements of the sensor were applied by pad printing techniques or screen printing. Using linear voltammetry and chronoamperometry, the magnitude of the generated current was measured and radiometric calibration was performed. The properties of the layers were characterized by profilometry, optical and electron microscopy.

Aprotické elektrolyty pro superkondenzátory / Aprotic electrolytes for supercapacitorsMusílek, Václav January 2010 (has links)
This master´s thesis deals different types of the aprotic electrolytes for supercapacitors and investigates by impedance spectroscopy to conductivity and method cyclic voltametry to measure dimension potential windows. Used aprotic solvents: propylencarbonate, dimethylsulfoxide, N, N dimethylformamide, ethylencarbonate, dimethylcarbonate, diethylcarbonate and acetonitrile. In the aprotic solvents were appended salts: LiClO4, NaClO4, KClO4, LiBF4, LiPF6, TEABF4 and TMABF4. From these compounds were prepared solutions with the different molar concentrations.

Vliv iontů manganu ve struktuře hydroxidu nikelnatého na vlastnosti elektrod / Influence of Mn ionts in nickel hydroxide on behavour electrodesCirkovský, Jaroslav January 2010 (has links)
The aim of my diploma thesis was to explore the influence of manganese ions put into nickel nitrate structure. The attention was focused mainly on the stabilization of nickel nitrate a modification, which could not change into b modification. The theoretical part of my thesis focused on applied materials, kinds of acumulators, basic parameters of acumulators and the description of chosen methods of measurement employed. It contained the electrodeposition, the impedance spectroscopy and the cyclic voltammetry. The task of the experimental part was to measure the effect of manganese ions put into potassium hydroxide structure. Proportions of Ni (nickel nitrate) : Mn (manganese nitrate) 10:0, 7:3, 5:5, 6:1 and 6:4 were blended for the measurement. By means of the electrodeposition, there was a thin layer of nickel hydroxide with an admixture of manganese ions from nickel nitrate and manganese nitrate dilution put on the nickel plate. After the spread of the thin layer on the nickel plate, the measurement by the method of cyclic voltammetry followed. The next task consisted in trying to add KOH (potassium hydroxide) anionic and cationic surfactant into the dilution.

Optimalizace elektrochemického senzoru pro měření v kapce / Optimization of electrochemical sensor for detection in microvolumeGajdoš, Libor January 2014 (has links)
This thesis describes optimization and modification of standard thick-film electrochemical sensor to be able to be used for detection in microvolumes. In the theoretical part, the thick film technology is described. The work is then focused on the wettability of surfaces followed by introduction to electrochemistry and electro-analytical methods. In the experimental part, screen-printing of various types of thick film pastes on ceramic substrates for determination of their wettability and the following modification of the sensors with thick-film paste and with Parylene vaporization can be found, as well as the basic electrochemical measurements in microvolume using the modified sensor. Finally the results are summarized in conclusion.

Elektrodepozice tenkých tantalových vrstev z iontových roztoků a měření jejich elektrických vlastností / Electrodeposition of thin tantalum layers from ionic liquids and measurement of their electrical propertiesSvobodová, Ivana January 2016 (has links)
The thesis is focused on the electrodeposition of tantalum from ionic solution 1-butyl-1- methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide, ([BMP]Tf2N) at 200°C and description of related transfer and kinetic phenomena on the interface between the ionic solution and working electrode. Furthermore, the electrodeposition of tantalum layers in different ionic solutions containing tantalum salts and especially in ([BMP]Tf2N) is introduced. In the last part of the thesis, results of cyclic voltammetry, surface analysis SEM and elemental analysis EDX are discussed. MIS (metal-insulator-semiconductor) structure was determined comprising porous anodic alumina as the insulator and semiconductive TaxOy on the top of the insulator. The electric conductivity of the MIS structures was studied by using amper-volt IV and CV characteristics. The results of the cyclic voltametry, impedance spectroscopy and chronoamperometry are discussed.

Využití chemicky modifikovaných elektrod při voltametrické analýze nitroaromatických sloučenin / The Use of Chemically Modified Electrodes in Voltammetric Analysis of Nitroaromatic CompoundsPrchal, Vít January 2011 (has links)
The main objective of this Diploma Thesis is studying the possibility of detection of nitro derivatives of aromatic hydrocarbons by using chemically modified working electrodes in electrochemical analysis. Compounds analyzed in this work were 1-nitronaphthalene and 6- nitrochrysene - these compounds were chosen on previous experience with surface modified working electrodes (the chemical/physical properties of these substances). All the analyses were performed by using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) on hanging mercury drop electrode (HMDE) in classic three-electrode system. The original premise of chemical modification of electrode surface is the change of its selectivity towards different compounds - meaning the change of the electrochemical response. The modification agent used in this thesis is 1-octanethiol. Its thiol group offers great potential of strong interaction with the metal surface of the mercury electrode. Voltammetric responses of both compounds were recorded in acidic, neutral and basic solutions (pH=2, pH=7, pH=12) including the responses when the electrode surface was modified. Next objective was the optimization of the modification procedure itself (transferring of the mercury drop from one media to another without damaging or tearing it off from the capillary orifice)....
