Utläggningsrapportering i en mobil webbapplikation / Expense Reporting in a Mobile Web Application

Dal, Alexander, Norrbacka, Johannes January 2014 (has links)
This report describes the implementation of expense reporting in a mobile web application. Two different types of expenses could be reported: remuneration and time deviations. In addition to the creation of new expenses, existing expenses should be able to be edited or deleted. The implementation would be designed in such a way that it prevents the user from making data entry errors in an intuitive way.    The bachelor’s thesis was performed for Flex Datasystem AB in their mobile web application, Flex WebApp. Due to delimitations made during the project only functionality for the expense-type remuneration was implemented. Examensarbetet utfördes åt Flex Datasystem AB i deras mobila webbapplikation, Flex WebApp. P g a gjorda avgränsningar under projektets gång implementerades endast funktionalitet för utläggstypen ersättningar.

Implementering av en användbar e-butik för tygmärken : En praktisk fallstudie av webbapplikationen Festing / Implementing a useable e-shop for textile patches : A practical case study of the web application Festing

Barrdahl, Adam, Berg, Josefin, Fridberg, Pontus, Gunnarsson, David, Lidberg, Sara, Lindblom, Martin, Melin Wenström, Peter, Olsson, Gustav, Ström, Johan January 2016 (has links)
This report covers the development of the web application Festing and the results and experiences which have been reached and learned during the process. The purpose of the study was to examine how the selling of patches could be both simplified and improved by using an advanced web application designed with focus on usability. Currently the patches are sold in a large but geographically and temporally limited market at Linköping University. The project was comprised of a case study and development of an application following the agile project framework Scrum. According to this the projects has been split up into four sprints after each of which a working product was delivered. This resulted in a usable web application with an intuitive design and multiple functions linked to the selling and buying of patches. Based on interviews, surveys and usability tests this web application is considered to have the long-term potential to take over the current physical market of textile patches.

Rasha, Zaki January 2015 (has links)
This report describes a web application with a user interface that displays Preem volume differences. The main purpose of this work was to develop an easier method for tracking unexplained differences in Preem’s inventory control. The report also discusses basic approaches for adapting web application for different business models.   The resulting system is a web application with a user interface for inventory control, where you can easily navigate. The web application also responds to warnings and automatically generates adaptive tables/graphs.

Comparing Costs of Browser Automation Test Tools with Manual Testing

Grape, Victor January 2016 (has links)
Testing is a necessary component of software development, but it is also an expensive one, especially if performed manually. One way to mitigate the cost of testing is to implement test automation, where the test cases are run automatically. For any organisation looking to implement test automation, the most interesting cost is time. Automation takes time to implement and one of the most obvious benefits of automation is that the automated test execution time is lower than that of manual execution. This thesis contains a literature study covering testing methodology, especially in regards to the domain of web application testing. The literature covered also included three economic models that may be used to calculate the costs of automation compared to manual testing. The models can be used to calculate the time it would take, or the number of necessary executions, for the total cost of test automation to be lower than of that of manual testing. The thesis is based on a case study of test automation for the StoredSafe platform, a web application. Three sets of test automation frameworks were used to implement three different test suits and the test implementation times were collected. The data collected were then used to calculate the time it would take, using the three economic models, for the cost of automated test cases to become equal to that of with manual testing. The data showed that the estimated time to reach breakeven for the three frameworks varied between 2½ and at worst 10 years, with an average of 3½ years. The models and data presented in this thesis may be used in order to estimate the cost of test automation in comparison to manual testing over longer periods of time, but care must be taken in order to ensure that the data used is correct in regards to one’s own organisation or else the estimate may be faulty.
