ANO 2011 a SPD pohledem teorií populismu / ANO 2011 and SPD from the theory of populism

Kohout, Stanislav January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis analyzes some of the most successful movements in the Czech Republic - ANO and Svoboda a přímá demokracie Tomio Okamury through the content analysis and the theory of populism by Cas Mudd. The aim of the thesis is to determine to what extent both movements are populist in view of the theory mentioned above and how their populism is different. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first one - the theoretical part is devoted to the concept of populism. In this part three most distinctive streams of populism research are presented: 1) populism as a political (communication) style 2) populism as a strategy and 3) populism as an ideology. The second one - the analytical part includes a methodology in which the criteria for determining what populism is by using the populist core features defined by Francisco Panniza and Cas Mudd are defined. Subsequently, I analyze the content analysis of programming and media representation involving the Facebook social network of both political entities. The results of the analysis are that ANO and SPD - Tomio Okamury fulfill the criteria of all three core features in their media presentations and therefore can be described as populist. There are all three core features appearing in the programs of both movements, what is more SPD is more...

Trade-off mezi velikostí a počtem vajec ve snůšce na úrovni čeledí ptáků / Trade-off between egg size and number at the level of bird families

Špaldoňová, Alexandra January 2010 (has links)
Trade-off between offspring size and number belongs to the most discussed concepts in the life history theory. The aim of this study was to elucidate the relationship between egg size, clutch size and female body mass at the family level in bird's and to examine whether there is the relationship between offspring size and number and life history traits specific for particular bird families. From published sources, I collected data about 5.073 species belong in 146 families. Most species of birds lay smaller clutches, on average three eggs. In 112 families from 130 tested eggs size was positively correlated with female body mass. There is evidence that egg size and clutch size are inversely related in 83 families from 130 tested but only for 34 families was significant. The relationship exists independently of female body mass across bird families and this suggests a trade-off between these traits. The relationship between the strength and shape of egg size-number correlations and life history characteristics of bird families was not frequent. According to results, the strength of correlation seems to be related to development mode and diet type. The negative egg size-number correlation is stronger when incubation period and fledging time is longer and in birds with longer lifespan. The...

Antipredační chování ťuhýka obecného: role klíčových znaků v rozpoznávání predátora / Antipredatory behaviour of Red-backed Shrike: the role of sign stimuli in a predator recognition

Součková, Tereza January 2011 (has links)
This thesis summarizes findings on a recognition and categorization of different sorts of stimuli at birds, it deals with predator recognition in the Red-backed Shrike (Lanius collurio) in its practical part. The aim of my study was to examine if Red-backed Shrikes follow by sign stimuli or colour of stimulus during the predator recognition. I performed my research by means of experiments with dummies, I have observed antipredatory reactions of Red-backed Shrikes on various types of dummies which differ in the presence or absence of features of raptor or in the different coloration. I concluded according to Shrikes' reactions that during the predator recognition the information on sign stimuli playes the principal role, but only this information alone is not fully sufficient. Antipredatory behaviour of the Red-backed Shrike was also influenced by sex of bird apart from type of dummy, males were more active during the nest defence than females.

Biologická variabilita nemetrických znaků na postkraniálním skeletu u mladoeneolitických populací Čech. / Biological variability of postcranial non-metric traits of Eneolithic populations in the area of Bohemia (the Corded Ware Culture and the Bell Beaker Culture).

Miklasová, Barbora January 2010 (has links)
The non-metric postcranial traits characterize biological variability of human skeletal morphology. Special attention is beeing paid to changes in some muscular or ligaments' binding areas and to changes of the articulation facets which are considered to be possibly retaled to excessive physical stress, occuring through the lifetime. The osteological material belonging to the populations of the Corded Ware culture and the Bell Beaker culture in the area of Bohemia has been surveyed with respect to non-metric trait occurence. The origin of both of these culture bearers is still a discused issue. There is a hypothesis saying that bearers of both Late Eneotithic cultures might represent actually one population and the differency of cultural patterns were due only to life-style changes, not to large-area migration. With respect to the frequency of 94 postcranial non-metric traits both samples have been compared to each other on a basis of measure of divergence and mean measure of divergence. The samples of Late Eneolithic populations showed significant difference only in frequencies of two non- metric traits and along with the values of mean measure of divergence they seem to show rather homogeneity. Afterwards both samples were compared with a sample from Great Moravian burial site Mikulčice - Kostelisko and...

Role fenotypové plasticity, genetické a epigenetické diferenciace u ekofyziologických znaků druhu Festuca rubra L. v reakci na klimatické změny / Role of phenotypic plasticity, genetic and epigenetic differentiation in ecophysiological traits of Festuca rubra L. in response to climate change

Koláříková, Veronika January 2017 (has links)
Understanding the ability of species to respond to climate change is essential for prediction of their future distribution. When migration is not adequate, reaction via phenotypic plasticity and/or genetic/epigenetic adaptation is necessary. The main aim of this study is to determine mechanisms of response to climate change in dominant grass species Festuca rubra. The study used reciprocal transplant experiment with growth chambers simulating different climatic conditions. Original localities in western Norway represent factorially crossed gradients of temperatures and precipitations, thus it was possible to study the effect of temperature and moisture separately as well as combined. In first part of the experiment, plastic responses were separated from genetic differentiation. To do this, plants with different genotypes from original localities were transplanted to growth chambers set to simulating temperature and moisture course in the four extreme localities (wettest and driest combined with warmest and coldest). After five months, ecophysiological photosynthetic-related traits were measured. These traits are important for species ability to adapt and maintain high fitness and thus they are essential for plants function. Specifically, it was net photosynthetic rate (PN), fluorescence of...

K problematice kvantity písařského výkonu u žáků 3. tříd ZŠ / The quantity of writing in the third year of elementary school

JURAČKOVÁ, Jitka January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the speed of writing of pupils in the third year of elementary school. The theoretical part focuses on the history of script and it includes for instance writing substances, equipment used for writing and historical methods of writing. There are also discussed the current methods of writing on primary schools, hygienic and working habits, qualitative and quantitative signs of script and the specific learning disorders. The research part summarizes the results of the practical part of this thesis. It involved pupils in the third year of a primary school who rewrote a particular text within a two-minute time limit. After they finished, the letters were counted and the results were compared to the tables from the previous years. The thesis includes pictures, tables, graphs and examples of writing tasks of some chosen pupils.

Ekologická omezení odnožování z kořenů u mokřadních rostlin / Ecological constraints limiting the root-sprouting ability in wetland plant species

SOSNOVÁ, Monika January 2010 (has links)
Wetland plant species rely largely on vegetative reproduction. Although all types of clonal growth organs are found in wetlands, special adaptations, e.g., turions, fragmentation and budding, are more frequent in true aquatic communities. However, root-sprouting is underrepresented, although it can be beneficial under disturbed conditions. This thesis focuses on ecological constrains potentially hindering root-sprouting in wetlands. This ability was studied in a wetland herb Rorippa palustris in relation to life history, injury timing and carbon economy of a plant. In addition, plant regeneration following submergence and severe disturbance was assessed.
