Previous issue date: 2016-09-05 / A presente pesquisa referiu-se ao estudo das Políticas Públicas voltadas aos alunos com deficiência no Ensino Superior, particularmente na Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. O ordenamento jurídico brasileiro apresenta um vasto aparato legal direcionado às pessoas com deficiência, mas elas continuam sendo discriminadas e seus direitos ainda não são efetivamente garantidos. O estudo foi centrado no Programa Incluir de Acessibilidade ao Ensino Superior. O objetivo geral foi avaliar a implementação das Políticas Públicas Educacionais direcionadas aos alunos com deficiência na UFPE e o objetivo específico foi avaliar a implementação do Programa Incluir na UFPE. Quanto a metodologia, foi utilizada a abordagem qualitativa descritiva. Foi observada, segundo dados do IBGE e do INEP, uma evolução no número de estudantes com deficiência no Ensino Superior. A UFPE tem empenhado esforços no que concerne ao acesso e a permanência dos discentes com deficiência no âmbito acadêmico, destacando a importância da inclusão social em todos os níveis educacionais. / This research referred to the study of public politics geared to students with disabilities in higher education, particularly at the Federal University of Pernambuco. The Brazilian legal system has a vast legal apparatus directed to persons with disabilities, but they are still discriminated against and their rights are not effectively guaranteed. The study was centered Include Accessibility to Higher Education Program. The overall objective was to evaluate the implementation of Educational Public Politics directed to disabled students at university and the specific objective was to evaluate the implementation of the program include at university. As for methodology, descriptive qualitative approach was used. It was observed, according to the IBGE and INEP, an increase in the number of students with disabilities in higher education. UFPE has committed efforts regarding the access and retention of students with disabilities in the academic field, highlighting the importance of social inclusion at all levels of education.
