Integration i Idrottsundervisning ur nyanlända elevers perspektiv / Integration in physical education from the perspective of newly arrived students

The goal of this study is to analyze the research overview to investigate how newly arrived students  perceive  sports  and  how  they  integrate  through  physical  education  (PE).  The methodological framework for this study is its focus on scientific articles that have been searched in databases, and articles were subsequently selected based on formulated criteria. The results of the research show that language skills are important, culture shock has an impact  on  students'  cognition  of  learning  in  sports,  and  the  role  of  teachers  in  physical education is important. It also shows that students' experiences of sports are varied. Among other  things,  experiences  are  shaped  by  student  learning  environments  and  what  they perceive as distractions during integration. According to the study, teachers need to ensure that newly arrived students are familiar with each other properly in order to facilitate their learning experiences. This study concludes that PE is a useful tool for language learning and cultural integration, which both contribute to social integration.
