Previous issue date: 2011-04-28 / This work is part of State, Politics and Educational Policy research line. As its title
indicates, it aims to discuss the principles of socialist pedagogy and their contributions
to the organization of educational work in current schools based on the ideas of Marx
and Engels about education and teaching having as reference the first historical
experience of educational system construction under the aegis of socialism. We started
this study from the understanding that the interests between capital and labor remain
essentially antagonistic, in that context we seek to elucidate the questions endorsing the
analysis in the classics of Marxism and the theoretical treatises on the experience
developed in post-revolutionary Russia under the guidance of Pistrak, as well as
theoretical production of national educators who developed studies on this subject. We
aim to use the methodological theoretical framework of historical-dialectical
materialism to understand the contemplated phenomenon. The discussion is based on
the Marxian and Marxist theorizing about education. This work is structured in three
chapters and final considerations. The first part deals with the trajectory of teaching
unity principle and labor focusing on its origin from Owen to Marx. The second part
deals with working categories, free time, man on Marx and his relationship with
education. The third part aims to review the experience accumulated by the working
class in post-revolutionary Russia on the orientation of Pistrak and the legacy that this
experience can offer to build a socialist pedagogy. In the conclusion, we present the
thought on all developed work of the dissertation pointing out the contributions of
Pistrak for the construction of socialist pedagogy. This study allows us to confirm the
relevance of the principles on socialist pedagogy, and it indicates the need of organized
struggles of working class to overcome the current proposal of capitalist sociality, the
only way out to change our reality. / O presente trabalho insere-se na linha de pesquisa Estado, Política e Gestão
Educacional. Como o próprio título indica tem por objetivo discutir os princípios da
Pedagogia Socialista e suas contribuições para a organização do trabalho pedagógico na
escola atual, a partir das ideias de Marx e Engels sobre educação e ensino, tendo como
referência a primeira experiência histórica de construção do sistema educacional sob a
égide do socialismo. Parte-se neste estudo da compreensão de que os interesses entre
capital e trabalho continuam essencialmente antagônicos. Nesse sentido, busca-se a
elucidação dos questionamentos, respaldando-se a análise nos clássicos do marxismo e
nas produções teóricas sobre a experiência desenvolvida na Rússia pós- revolucionária
sob a orientação de Pistrak, além da produção teórica de educadores nacionais que
desenvolveram estudos sobre a temática. Utiliza-se o referencial teórico metodológico
do materialismo histórico- dialético para compreensão do fenômeno estudado. A
discussão assenta-se na teorização marxiana e marxista sobre educação. O trabalho está
estruturado em três capítulos e considerações finais. Na primeira parte, aborda-se a
trajetória do princípio da união do ensino com o trabalho, enfocando sua origem desde
Owen até Marx. Na segunda parte, abordam-se as categorias trabalho, tempo livre,
homem em Marx e sua relação com a educação. Na terceira parte analisa-se a
experiência acumulada pela classe trabalhadora na Rússia pós-revolucionária sob a
orientação de Pistrak e o legado que essa experiência pode oferecer para a construção de
uma Pedagogia Socialista. Nas considerações finais, apresentam-se as reflexões sobre
todo o trabalho desenvolvido na dissertação, apontando as contribuições do trabalho de
Pistrak para a construção da Pedagogia Socialista. O estudo realizado nos permite
confirmar a atualidade dos princípios da Pedagogia Socialista, alternativa única de
transformação da realidade, e indicar a necessidade de luta organizada da classe
trabalhadora para superação da atual proposta de sociabilidade capitalista.
