Este trabalho investigativo é a tentativa de mostrar como se constituíram as infâncias nos primeiros sessenta anos do século XX, na cidade de Antônio Prado-RS. A pesquisa consta de 18 informantes que relataram suas vivências de infâncias nessa cidade. Para a realização deste trabalho, foi considerado como critério que os informantes se diferenciassem quanto a: idade, etnia, gênero, classe social, grau de escolarização, bem como lugar de residência no município. A metodologia utilizada foi por meio da história oral, baseada fundamentalmente nas orientações de Paul Thompson, como uma das fontes teóricas para o desenvolvimento metodológico. Para desenvolver a pesquisa, de acordo com a metodologia contemplada, foi elaborado um roteiro semi-estruturado, com questões abertas, para realização das entrevistas com os depoentes. Os depoimentos concedidos pelos informantes foram gravados, logo após foram realizadas as transcrições das informações orais, para compor a análise de dados do trabalho. Outras fontes complementares foram consultadas, tais como fotografias, jornais, documentos, bibliografias, para reunir as evidências necessárias à proposta da pesquisa. É uma pesquisa qualitativa, realizada no período de 2003 a 2005. Entre os autores que fazem a interlocução estão: Ecléa Bosi, Alberto Melucci, Francisco Tonucci, Jacques Le Goff, Milton Santos, Richard Sennett. Neste trabalho de pesquisa, a análise ocorre durante todo processo percorrido, através de uma reflexão crítica sobre a forma como a própria pesquisa transcorre. A presente pesquisa tem o objetivo de analisar a relação dos espaços-tempos na cidade de Antônio Prado, como constitutivos das lembranças das infâncias neste trabalho. Por isso, consideraram-se algumas reflexões sobre a relevância dos espaços sociais, como cenários das infâncias vividas pelos depoentes. Além disso, este trabalho abordou a pluralidade das infâncias, os elementos constitutivos dessa pluralidade e a análise da infância como construção social. / This investigative paper has the attempt of showing how the childhoods were constituted at the first sixty years of the twentieth century in the town of Antônio Prado, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. In this way the research was made through. eighteen informers who told their childhood memories in this town. To the realization of this paper, was considered as criteria the differences between the informers concerning the age, the ethnic group, the gender, social class, level of study as well as the place were they live in the municipality. The used methodology was the Oral History, based fundamentally at the orientations of Paul Thompson as one of the theoretical sources to the methodological development. In order to develop the research in accordance with the considered methodology, a semi-structured itinerary was created with opened questions to the realization of the interview with the informers. The testimonials given by the informers were tape recorded and then the oral information transcription was made to compose the data analysis of the research. Other complementary sources were consulted for example pictures, newspapers, documents, bibliographies in order to gather the necessary evidences to the research proposal together. This is a qualitative research made between 2003 and 2005. Between the authors used in this paper are: Ecléa Bosi, Alberto Melucci, Francisco Tonicci, Jacques Le Goff, Milton Santos and Richard Sennett. At this research the analysis occur during all the carried out process through a critical reflection about the way the research was done itself. This present paper has the main objective of analyze the space relation – time in the town of Antônio Prado, as constitutive of the childhood memories of this paper, so, in this way was considered some reflections about the relevance of the social spaces as childhood settings lived by the informers. Besides, this paper also presents the childhood plurality, the constitutive elements of this plurality and childhood analysis as social construction.
