Previous issue date: 2015-06-16 / This masters dissertation is the resulto of a research about Memory, Culture e Teaching in Colégio Militar de Brasília (Military School in Brasilia), an education institution is part of the System of Military School of Brazil, linked to the Brazilian Army. The main motivation for producing this research was to tell the History of this school, aiming at showing its impact on the Brazilian society, based on texts and studies about History and Culture. Therefore, we highlight the dynamic and constructor conception of the memory that interact between silence and speaking. We also spotlight the importance of subject through its military and civil teachers` oral statements. The research discusses the school memory, the institutional culture and values, and its reflection and influence on the public education. We used some theoritical studies about Education, according to the considered period, besides we researched the History of creation of the Military School and its goals as education establishment, which are mainly the admission in Military Academies and Institutions. This work presents some elements of school culture and characteristics about education training skills in the legal documents of Military School, information that can support the intuition in front of the technicist neoliberal education, introduced in it after the redemocratization. / A presente dissertação é resultado da investigação sobre a Memória, Cultura e Ensino do Colégio Militar de Brasília, instituição que participa do Sistema de Colégios Militares do Brasil vinculado ao Exercito Brasileiro. A principal motivação para a realização da pesquisa foi dar a conhecer a história dessa instituição, visando assinalar seu impacto sobre a sociedade brasileira respaldada nos pressupostos dos estudos da história e da cultura. Para tanto, destacamos a concepção dinâmica e construtora da memória que se articula entre falas e silêncios. Destacamos a relevância do assunto por meio de depoimentos orais realizados com docentes civis e militares da instituição. A pesquisa retoma a memória da escola, a cultura institucional e seus valores e reflexos na educação pública. Foram analisados alguns teóricos sobre a educação no período considerado e como foi criado o Colégio Militar por meio de um sistema de ensino que possui foco voltado para as academias militares e seus institutos. A pesquisa ainda tem como eixo o levantamento de elementos da cultura escolar e da formação por competências em seus documentos legais, dados que se associam para respaldar a instituição em face da educação neoliberal tecnicista implantada após a redemocratização.
