Vem ska göra uppgiften? : En fallstudie i implementering av skolbibliotekets pedagogiska uppgift. / Who's going to do the work? : A case study of the pedagogical function of the school library.

School libraries in Sweden are intended to be an integrated part of the pedagogic curriculum. School leaders are proven to give libraries insufficient support when it comes to funding, employing adequate library staff and promoting cooperation between librarian and teachers. A new digitalization strategy initiated by the Swedish government singles out school library as one of the key actors in digitalization of the education sector. Can it fulfill this role without a professional librarian? This is a case study of a Swedish school that seeks to describe an implementation process that takes place after the policy is passed and before it is successfully implemented. Implementation theory is used to analyze the results of the semi-structured interviews.
