Syftet med föreliggande studie är att undersöka hur svensklärare på gymnasiet uppfattar och behandlar anglicismer i elevtexter. Med hjälp av en kvalitativ metod i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer undersöktes sju svensklärares uppfattningar om fenomenet. Resultatet analyserades utifrån ett fenomenologiskt ramverk och visade att elevers användning av anglicismer upplevs ha ökat under de senaste åren. Trots det skiljer sig lärarnas behandling av anglicismer i elevtexter åt. Detta tycks bero på lärarnas personliga uppfattning om huruvida anglicismer är ett problem eller endast ett naturligt resultat av svenskans språkutveckling. / This study aims to explore Swedish teachers’ perceptions of the presence of anglicisms in student texts. This field of research from this particular context is nearly unexplored. Hopefully, further research will follow by providing results and insights into the context of Swedish teachers’ perceptions of the presence of anglicisms. Semi-structured interviews with seven Swedish teachers were carried out. The interviews were transcribed and subjected to a thematic analysis to uncover and identify common and recurring themes from the teachers’ statements. The result was analyzed through a phenomenological perspective and displayed the perception of an increase in students’ use of anglicisms in their produced Swedish texts. How the teachers choose to treat this incorrect language use varies, which appears to be a product of the individual perception of whether anglicisms are a problem or simply a result of language change.
