Through the use of an employee perspective we wish to get a deeper understanding of how the HR-department works towards employees and how their work can evolve. Method: A multiple case study was chosen that treats the subject HR- department from an inductive approach. Data collection has taken place through nine qualitative semi-structured interviews. Conclusion: The conclusions show that communication is something that HR-departments should be aware of affects the trust to the HR-department. It is also important that the HR-department doesn't work behind the scenes since that contributes to a reduced trust for the HR-department.
