TESE DE DOUTORADO, DE JEAN PAUL D'ANTONY.pdf: 5163134 bytes, checksum: 417950175c167e153c689944854a7508 (MD5) / Este trabalho apresenta um estudo sobre o conceito de identidade representado nas obras literárias e cinematográficas homônimas: Ensaio sobre a Cegueira (1995), de Saramago, e o filme homônimo de Fernando Meirelles (2008); e O último voo do flamingo (2005), de Mia Couto, e o filme homônimo (2011), de João Ribeiro. O estudo da identidade nessas obras fundamenta-se, principalmente, em abordagens do campo da Filosofia, dos Estudos Culturais e da Sociologia. Para tanto, inicialmente, a partir dessas áreas, esboça-se problematizações em torno da epistemologia da identidade, junto a conceitos de modernidade, hipermodernidade, globalização, esquizofrenia, entre outros, que foram utilizados no decorrer do trabalho. Em quatro capítulos apresentamos, junto à análise literária e cinematográfica, a análise de novas problematizações da identidade a partir das abordagens teóricas do cinema e de conceitos de tradição, pertencimento, rizoma, pós-colonialismo, entre outros, a fim de delinear mais substancialmente os objetivos de nosso estudo. / This paper presents a study of the concept of identity represented in the literary and cinematographic homonymic works: Blindness (1995), by Saramago, and the homonym film by Fernando Meirelles (2008); and The last flight of the flamingo (2005), by Mia Couto, and the homonym film (2011), by John Ribeiro. The study of identity in these works is based mainly on approaches to the field of Philosophy, Cultural Studies and Sociology. For this purpose, initially from these areas, problematizations taking shape around the identity epistemology, along with concepts of modernity, hypermodernity, globalization, schizophrenia, among others, were used in this work. In four chapters we present, in association with the literary and cinematic analysis, the analysis of new problematizations of identity from theoretical approaches to movie theater and concepts of tradition, belonging, rhizome, postcolonialism, among others, in order to draw the objectives of our study more substantially.
