In this sense we seek to identify the meaning of school knowledge to learners and young adults in order to understand if / how / the students / school knowledge to relate to their everyday knowledge. Once we understand the everydayness as space / time of incorporation of practices through linkages and meanings constructed by individuals, develop specific knowledge and authentic (Certeau, 1998), we discussed if / how the school performs interaction relationships between school knowledge and everydayness of / the students / girls and adults, trying to recognize if / how the school knowledge promoted changes in the everydayness / the students / participants of this research. Our research subjects were students / the cycles III and IV of the EJA in a public school in the city of João Pessoa, which twenty-seven answered questionnaires, five of these subsequently participated through semistructured interviews. Used as a method of assessing the information content analysis (Bardin, 2006), which, based on a set of techniques that analyzes the communication allows the inference of knowledge related to the context of production, but also to the life situations that are involved with the object of study. We believe that establishing a public school education school for adults and young people, needs to be based on a set theoretical and methodological endorse the role of school socialization of knowledge historically constructed, but to promote a relationship between this knowledge and the knowledge acquired in everydayness subjects, favoring reflections about their realities and encouraging participation as a form of autonomy, which is strengthened by the concept of popular education. In this context, we in the school of the institution that was our field research, an environment conducive to building relationships knowledge, however, it was found that teachers of various degrees (also called subject teachers) working in Youth and Adults find it difficult to establish links between "science" reference (Chervel, 1990) and knowledge of everydayness of his / her students / those, which directs us to the issue of initial and continuing training of these professionals. Thus, we realize that it takes a look at the initial and continuing training of teachers of undergraduate working in adult education as a way to provide the necessary links to work this type of education.

Tempo e artista: Chico Buarque, avaliador de nossa cotidianidade / Time and artist: Chico Buarque, evaluator of our everydayness

Miriam Bevilacqua Aguiar 19 September 2014 (has links)
A tese Tempo e Artista. / The thesis Time and Artist: Chico Buarque, evaluator of our everydayness analyzes, among the songs that figure in the musical work of the composer Francisco Buarque de Hollanda, those that approach the everyday life. The objective of this thesis is to show how these songs, more than portraying the everyday life, also evaluate the day-by-day of the Brazilian society by either creating or highlighting ideas and concepts accepted by a large part of the national population from the 1960s to the 2000s. This research also intends to provide evidence of how the artist\'s lyrics resemble chronicles, both for text structure as well as for the selection of themes and engagement with the reality in which these songs arise. The process of this work started with the contextualization of the composer\'s life and work, followed by an extensive investigation and capture in the main communication vehicles at the time. Such process allowed verifying how the artist\'s credibility was built and strengthened up to a level of the author being considered an unanimity, both in the most educated segments of the population as well as among the most popular ones that admired the samba of Chico Buarque. In this sense, as the creator of a unique work, Chico Buarque was empowered to be the evaluator of our everydayness. The analysis of a total of 24 songs representing five decades made possible to emphasize how the poetics of Chico Buarque was designed and which themes he selected from ordinary life. Finally, this study expects to have confirmed how the musical work of Chico Buarque revealed, evaluated and interfered in the Brazilian everyday reality.

Domov odpočinku v Rozsochatci 1952-1956 / Retirement home in Rozsochatec 1952-1956

Julišová, Adéla January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis is a microhistorical case study into the field of regional history. It examines the work of the state institutional social care facility - Retirement home in the village Rozsochatec, where the nursing staff cared for the elderly and non-independent people. The staff consisted of nuns of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament and several laical helpers between 1952 and 1956. Moreover, the daily life was shaped by the presence of the Roman Catholic priest, as well as by the constant supervision of the district church secretary. The main purpose of this work is an insight into the everydayness of this specific social facility - medical and nursing care, supplying, meals, hygiene, home cleaning and, last but not least, leisure time, spiritual and political life inside the Retirement home are explored. In addition, the work deals with individual actors (social groups) and the chateau building in the village Rozsochatec, in which the social care institution was located. It describes the relationship of the socialist state to the nuns after 1948 and portray one small religious community. This diploma thesis is based on the field archival and oral-historical research and provides insight into the 1950s against a background of emerging state social care. Keywords:...

The povery construct and it's resonance with the experiencing of deprivation. Social relations in a Jamaican community.

Hall, Kurt V. January 2010 (has links)
This research provides one account of the complex relationship between differentiated experiences of deprivation and the dominant poverty construct in the Jamaican context. It is based on research conducted over a period of nine months in a Jamaican ¿squatter¿ community, Windsor, in the Parish of St. Ann. The study is organised into two ¿positional¿ chapters (conceptual framework and methodology) and four direct ¿response¿ chapters that demonstrate the ways in which the official poverty approach (from concept to policy) resonates with the living experiences of individuals. The ¿response¿ chapters step back from debates on the measurement of poverty so as to critically and reflexively consider the construct¿s conceptual and definitional antinomies. This is done through: (i) an excavation of a partial social history of poverty discourses in Jamaica; (ii) an evaluation of problems with knowledge production in the participatory method; (iii) an examination of the implications of the abstraction of the poor from spatial relations; and (iv) an exploration of different ways in which individuals ¿picture¿ living in their surroundings. The conclusion drawn is that it is necessary to begin engaging in a multidisciplinary project which accounts for difference within the poverty construct. This is because, insofar as it is possible, the removal of the most extreme forms of deprivation is not in itself sufficient for the eradication of the social relations that give rise to these privative ¿conditions¿. There instead needs to be critical engagement with relations of deprivation as resident in the social body as a whole in conceptualising poverty.

[en] ON THE NEED OF A NEW ANALYTIC OF DASEIN: THE AVERAGE EVERYDAYNESS IN THE GESTELL ERA / [pt] DA NECESSIDADE DE UMA NOVA ANALÍTICA DO SER-AÍ: A COTIDIANIDADE MEDIANA NA ERA DA GESTELL

WALDYR DELGADO FILHO 28 December 2017 (has links)
[en] In his main work, Being and time (1927), the German philosopher Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) drew up the thread of his lifelong thinking: the question of the meaning of being (Sein). Starting from the average everydayness, the penetrating analysis of human existence conducted here unveils the various modes of being of Dasein, indicating that the existentially authentic attitude – amidst a structurally constitutive decadence – is fostered by a recognition and acceptance of our finitude. During the 1930s, under the influx of the so-called reversal (Kehre) in his thought – a process in which the fundamental ontology of Being and time gives place to the history of Being (Seyn) –, Heidegger begins his interrogation movement on technique, in the context of its growing and imposing hegemony, interrogation that will lead to Gestell or technical enframing. It is a historical configuration of Being that aims at the absolute control and availability of all entities, including men. Gestell, of course, is not restricted to the universe of technical objects: it is also the emergence of a technological way of seeing and inhabiting the world. This flow is of cybernetic matrix, marked, among other phenomena, by the recent predominance of virtualization of human interaction, mediated by the ubiquitous Internet (more broadly: the cyberspace). A new type of being-with-one-another is thus established, in which virtualities are used daily, constantly influencing human behavior, beginning with interpersonal communication and cognition. The time spent in virtual space points to a gradual transformation of habits. Thus, the objective of our investigation will be to offer preliminary subsidies for the elaboration of a new analytic of Dasein, verifying to what extent the average everydayness, as being-in-the-world in the Gestell era, is altered. This implies in conducting an interpretation of this new facticity in which, according to our hypothesis, the They-self (das Man) consolidates its power, consummating the forgottenness of being through a refusal of its own finitude. Drawing on the existential analytic of Being and time and the Heideggerian thinking on the technique – within which the notions of proximity and distance and fourfold emerge as new references –, the analysis seeks to unveil the new ways of being of the virtual everyday being-with-one-another, discussing in this context the possibilities of Dasein overcome the They-self and become authentic existence.

Vliv on-line identity ze světa Damokles na každodennost / The Influence of On-line Identity from the World of Damokles on Everydayness

Beseda, Jan January 2015 (has links)
The Influence of On-line Identity from the World of Damokles on Everydayness Abstract The doctoral thesis focuses on on-line world Damokles and its users. It investigates how their on-line identity influences their everyday off-line life. It also focuses on the way the social ties and networks are created among its users and how on-line community is constructed. I especially focus on the mutual impact of on-line and off-line activities of Damokles users. I based the research on qualitative methodology, especially engaged observation of members of Damokles community in the on-line realm as well as during their off-line activities; informal, semi-structured dialogues with the members of the community; and analysis and interpretation of texts from the world Damokles and about the world Damokles. I classify my work under the new anthropological sub- discipline, cyberanthropology, which studied humans and changes of human existence in the context of modern computer information and communication technologies (Soukup 2009, 138). I also deal with the specifics of this anthropological sub- discipline and issues connected with research in the on-line realm. Key words: cyberanthropology, on-line worlds, everydayness, on- line community, ethnography, time, identity

Rytmus v urbánním prostoru a rytmoanalýza - příklad Prahy / Rhythm in Urban Space and Rhythmanalysis - Prague example

Smrčina, Michal January 2015 (has links)
The study aims to present the notion of rhythmanalysis in relation to the city environment and aims to apply the theory to field research. The theoretical part focuses on the semiotic conception of the rhythm, on the position of rhythmanalysis in the work of its father, Henri Lefebvre and it further tackles the topic and its applications in Czech and also international context. Following this approach, it clarifies a wide range of related conceptions and phenomenons. It finds common points of reference in philosophy, semiotics, critical theory, urbanism, social geography, art and other fields, which is determined by its interdisciplinary nature. The practical part relates the previously mentioned theoretical foundations to applied, empirical research. It observes and reveals the rhythms of Prague area named Vltavská, it analyzes and interprets them and shows the rhythmanalysis as a legitimate analytical instrument with a potential value for urbanism.
