[en] FAMILY OF ORIGIN INFLUENCES REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CONJUGAL BOND IN THE NEW COUPLE: A CASE STUDY / [pt] INFLUÊNCIAS DA FAMÍLIA DE ORIGEM NA CONSTRUÇÃO DO LAÇO CONJUGAL NO NOVO CASAL: UM ESTUDO DE CASO

DENISE DE FARIA MENDONCA 23 June 2006 (has links)
[en] This study aims to investigate the influences of the families of origin regarding the construction of the conjugal bond in the new couple. Therefore, we did a study using both quantitative and qualitative methods. We selected a young couple (husband 27; wife 28), without children, and whose parents were alive. Initially, a questionnaire investigating the parent´s conjugality (QCP) as perceived by their children, was applied to each member of the couple. Later, we interviewed the couple and their respective parents, making up a total of six subjects. The conjugal dynamic of the new subsystem, the couple, is related to the interactional patterns established in their families of origin. We observed that relational models repeatedly appeared in three generations: in the grandparent´s generation, in the parents and in the new couple. In this transmission some contents of the heritage were transformed, while others were reproduced without further elaboration, both in the second, and mainly in the third generation, that is, the new couple. The discussion of the material obtained was based in psychoanalytic and systemic theories. We concluded that generational influences mark the construction of the conjugal bond, establishing a foundation for conjugal identity, sometimes in a constructive manner and other times inciting conflicts.

[en] CHILDREN OF PORTUGUESE-BRAZILIAN COUPLES IN PORTUGAL: A STUDY ON GENERATIONAL TRANSMISSION / [pt] FILHOS DE CASAIS LUSO-BRASILEIROS EM PORTUGAL: UM ESTUDO SOBRE TRANSMISSÃO GERACIONAL

CARLA MARTINS MENDES 05 April 2022 (has links)
[en] The voluntary immigration of Brazilians in Portugal is a phenomenon that has been evolving since the 1980s and 1990s, constituted by a heterogeneity of projects and motivations. The formation of bicultural Luso-Brazilian couples is part of the migratory project, originating the formation of families crossed by a double cultural reference. The children of Luso-Brazilian couples in Portugal represent a young and understudied population, making it pertinent to understand the generational transmission in this population. To speak of generational transmission is to think of the psychic, conscious and unconscious legacies underlying the temporal experience of family bonds. Therefore, the aim of this research was to study elements of generational transmission in children of Portuguese-Brazilian couples in Portugal. To this end, a qualitative field research was carried out, with the participation of 12 interviewees, seven men and five women, between 18 and 31 years old, children of Luso-Brazilian bicultural couples, whose parents of Brazilian origin voluntarily migrated to Portugal. The results pointed to the constitution of a family system permeated by family stigmas related to gender and nationality. The acceptance of the conjugal couple by the families of Portuguese origin was due to the birth of the participants, showing that the past history of the parental couple and of the families of origin can be integrated by their children. Social stereotypes contributed to the privatization of family relations, in which the transmission of Brazilian culture was restricted to the private sphere. The generational transmission was carried out, above all, by the figure of the woman, through the articulation of practices and values, giving them a place of maintenance of family bonds. We conclude that the family bonds are perceived as transmitters of a cultural heritage, translated into sensorial memories and affective and symbolic value, contributing to the identity autonomy and family belonging, privileging the positive aspects of both cultures.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Texto parcial Viviane Ferro - 2009.pdf: 448887 bytes, checksum: 52acdebcbbc4628906b1f9dc463bd9de (MD5) Previous issue date: 2009-08-27 / The aim of this study is to understand the romantic relationship choice of couples consisting of male adolescents who have committed criminal offenses and their female partners, as well as the continuation of the relationship after the determination of socio-educational measures of deprivation of freedom, through the identification of the relationship patterns found in the families of each of the members of the couple. Two couples in a government instituion of Distrito Federal that carries out such measures were studied from a qualitative perspective. Individual interviews were performed with each member of the couple and a genogram was constructed. The results showed that the family plays a fundamental part in the transmission and repetition of male and female roles in the romantic relationship and in the establishment of communication styles and rules. With regard to gender issues, the relationships of the couples are based on a patriarchal model in which the man exercises his power and domination while the woman focuses on affective, care, and obedience relationships, even when the adolescent is institutionalized / Este estudo tem o objetivo de compreender a escolha amorosa de casais constituídos por adolescentes autores de atos infracionais e suas companheiras, bem como a manutenção do relacionamento após a determinação da medida socioeducativa de privação de liberdade, a partir da identificação dos padrões relacionais presentes na família de cada um dos membros do casal.

Teorie transgeneračního přenosu v díle Emila Ajara Život před sebou (La Vie devant soi) / Transgenerational transmission theory in La Vie devant soi by Émile Ajar

Stuchlá, Aneta January 2015 (has links)
9.2 Abstract In this Master's thesis we have attempted to interpret Émile Ajar's novel La Vie devant soi using knowledge based on the psychoanalytic theory of trans-generational transmission. This theory assumes that a person who has been the victim of a traumatic experience cannot consciously refer to it, either through embarrassment or due to the fact that the trauma cannot be referred to verbally. However, he or she can refer to such traumas subconsciously in hints or symbols, precisely because expressing traumas, or their symbolisation in words, is the most effective therapy. If the trauma is not erased, it is transferred further trans-generationally. We consider Émile Ajar's La Vie devant soi to be a suitable work for applying the above- mentioned theory, not only due to the extraordinary life story of the author, but also as concerns the novel itself. Émile Ajar is a pseudonym of the well-known author Romain Gary (born Roman Kacew) who created the character of Émile Ajar in order to write freely regardless of what was expected of Gary as an established author and moreover, a well-known supporter of de Gaulle. As Gary's play on identities was brought to light only after his death, he was the only author to have ever been awarded the Goncourt Prize twice - the second time as Émile Ajar in La Vie devant...

[en] WEAVING A PATCHWORK QUILT: THE CHALLENGES OF WEAVING THE THREADS OF A TRIPLETS MATERNITY EXPERIENCE / [pt] TECENDO UMA COLCHA DE RETALHOS: OS DESAFIOS DE ENTRELAÇAR OS FIOS DE UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE MATERNIDADE TRIGEMELAR

FERNANDA SCHMITT RIBEIRO 28 November 2018 (has links)
[en] Currently, thousands of children are conceived around the world through assisted reproductive treatments (ART). These have brought about as a consequence the considerable increase of multiple pregnancies. Considering the relevance attributed by psychoanalysis to the experience of motherhood and the mother-baby relationship due to its implications on the maternal psyche and on the psychic development of the baby, multiple pregnancy conceived through ART reveals a distinct experience of the experience of motherhood classically Studied by psychoanalysts. For this reason, the author of this thesis sought to analyze, through a case study of a mother who conceived a pregnancy triplets through ART, the experience of motherhood crossed by these peculiarities, as well as the psychic and emotional development of each of the triplets, in the first two years of their lives. Therefore, an observation of infants was performed by Esther Bick method, conciled with an interview conducted when the babies were one year old. In the analysis presented, issues peculiar to the case were explored, such as the outsourcing of care found, making the understanding of the bond established between the mother and her babies a challenge for the author. Consequently, the researcher sought to understand how the babies dealt with maternal absence. Elements related to the phenomenon of generational transmission were identified differently with each of the babies. It was observed how the maternal bond and the innate constitution of each of the babies crossed the process of subjective constitution of each one of the babies, being discussed individually. It was sought to propose a reflection that could be extended to other cases of twin motherhood, about how this experience is experienced by the mother of twins and how the twin brothers can build their psychic life.
