The master’s thesis on the topic Kindergarten is processed in the form of project documentation for the implementation of the new building Kindergarten. Project documentation is designed to meet the applicable standards. The building is designed in the catastral of the city of České Budějovice. The building has two floors and it‘s designed from Porotherm with contact thermal insulation system, roofed by warm flat green roof and based on the footings of plain concrete. The ceiling construction is deigned from the prestressed concrete ceiling panels. The building contains three classes for a total of 60 children. Food and washing bedding is provided by imports.

This theses is regarding a proposal of adaptation and extension of an object of an infant school in Pravenec. The object was built in 1963 and it was originally built to serve as a local infant school and creche. It served its original purpose until year 2000 and afterwards was used as a workshop of a textile factory. Since 2010 this object has not been utilised. Adaptation of object includes the alternation of its purpose. Object will be partially re-built and modified in order to be able to serve as a domestic building. There should be three separate housing units created, each with its own entrance. On first level there will be two individual accommodation units. On second level there will be a single apartment designed with an entrance through staircase. Adaptation also includes an overall isolation of the building, exchange of aperture blockage and a new flat roof as current condition of the object does not meet the quality standards.

The diploma thesis is a project of two-storied kindergarten in Presov. The facility is designed for four departments with a total capacity of 80 children and a separate kitchen. Building plot is situated on the outskirts of settlements in the Construction area in a stable area and the master plan is intended for civic amenities. The vertical support structures are designed from sand-lime bricks. Floor structures are designed from prestressed reinforced concrete hollow core slabs. The roof is designed as a flat, green roof. The façade is ventilated and lined with tiles of cement and particle boards.

This thesis concerns the project design and building design of school facilities, more specifically kindergarten in Šlapanice. It is a new building of the kindergarten, implemented on land plots numbers 2801/69 – 72 and number 2801/74, which is located in Šlapanice near the city of Brno in southern Moravia. The building is designed for the upbringing and education of preschool children. Kindergarten consists of two units for a total of 40 children, component of the proposed building are also spaces designed for leisure activities (multipurpose room). Horizontally building corresponds approximately T – shaped. It is a building without a basement, with one floor, divided into five functional sections (or zones), with the middle part of the building – community area – is designed to be elevated. The building is designed as a brick construction from Porotherm, ceilings are monolithic reinforced concrete thickness of 300 mm, the roof is made up of the single – layer flat roofs with load layer of washed gravel, entrance doors and windows are made of plastic. This proposal corresponds to the technical requirements and the requirements of the investor (builder).

The aim of the research is to get children's basic knowledge, attitudes and projections about advertisement and also parents' opinions on how their children are influenced by advertisement. This research part pervades with didactical sets charting children's relation to advertisement and brings them to reflection. Results of this thesis point out possibilities of using elements in media education in connection with art activities in nursery schools. The thesis discusses didactic game applied in kindergartens and primary schools in the context of current educational system. The author's objective was to determine differences between employing didactic play in kindergartens and primary schools. Another objective was to verify whether teachers recognise didactic game as an adequate educational method and to ascertain whether didactic game fulfils its activation function in primary schools. Observation and interviewing were used as appropriate methods to conduct the research and collect the data. More specifically the author conducted observations in the pre-school kindergarten classes and the first three grades of primary schools, interviews with kindergarten and primary school teachers, and comparisons between classes where didactic game was used and where it was not. The following conclusions were made: the main difference in applying didactic game in a kindergarten and primary school is the teacher's approach to the assignment of the didactic game and subsequently the children's or pupils' perception. Kindergarten teachers consider didactic game to be a fundamental educational method, whereas in primary schools it is of similar importance as other methods.
