As alterações e as adaptações a essas mudanças têm período de transição cada vez mais curtos, provocando angústia e ansiedade nos indivíduos, que se sentem coagidos a processar um grande volume de informações rapidamente e provocam alterações em suas relações pessoais e profissionais. Nesse cenário é visualizado o profissional de informação, que lida diretamente com o impacto causado pela explosão documental e pelas inovações tecnológicas (e suas demandas). O presente estudo objetivou avaliar o nível de satisfação no trabalho desses profissionais, trabalhadores de uma Instituição Federal de Ensino Superior, e suas possíveis relações com as condições e a organização do trabalho: a EST e a EIPIST. Os resultados obtidos após a análise dos dados coletados mostram que os profissionais pesquisados estão conseguindo equilibrar o prazo e o sofrimento no trabalho, apontando assim mais satisfação do que insatisfação entre as dimensões abordadas. / Exposure to very rapid changes concerning concepts, paradigms, behaviors, among others aspects is a tendency of the modern world. The transition periods to these changes amendments and adaptations are getting shorter and shorter, causing distress and anxiety in individuals, who feel compelled to porcess a large amount of information quickly, affecting their personal and professional relationships. The professional of information is displayed in this scenario as being the one who deals directly with the impact caused by the documental explosion and the technological innovations (and their demands). It is intended in this study to assess the level of job satisfaction of these professionals - workers of a Federal Institution of Higher Education - and the possible relations with the working conditions and work organization. Two scales, aiming to measure job satisfaction, were applied to the subjects of the study as the methodology to achieve the goals: the EST and the EIPST. The results obtained after the data analysis show that surveyed professionals are managing to balance the pleasure and suffering at work, thus indicating more satisfaction than dissatisfaction among the dimensions addressed.

Santé mentale au travail : une étude auprès des travailleurs du secteur postal au Brésil / Mental health : a study among postal workers in BrazilAleixo Da Silva Junior, Nelson 15 December 2014 (has links)
Ces 20 dernières années, l'entreprise Brésilienne des Postes et Télégraphes –ECT, a mis en route un processus de modernisation et de restructuration. L’objectif général de notre thèse a été d’en analyser les conséquences sur l’état actuel de la santé mentale des guichetiers et des facteurs de l’ECT dans l’État de Paraíba. L’étude est épidémiologique de type transversal analytique, avec une méthode d’approche quali-quantitative sur un échantillon représentatif de 150 guichetiers et 150 facteurs. Nous avons mené des entretiens semi-directifs, utilisé le GHQ-12 de Goldenberg, l’inventaire des motivations de Blais et des questionnaires que nous avons nous-mêmes mis au point. Sur le plan théorique, nous avons pris appui sur la littérature consacrée à la motivation et à la santé mentale au travail. Les résultats montrent que les Guichetiers ont un indice de motivation meilleur que celui des Facteurs, principalement pour la motivation intrinsèque. Les analyses du GHQ-12 montrent que 4,4% des Guichetiers ont quelques symptômes de dépression et 33,1% des symptômes d’anxiété. Parmi les Facteurs, 20,7% présentent un tableau préoccupant quant à la dépression et à la tension émotionnelle et 24,4% font état d’une absence de sentiment d’auto-efficacité. En outre, les analyses psychodynamiques montrent que les actes d’intelligence créative des Guichetiers ne sont généralement pas validés par de la reconnaissance de la part de leur encadrement, ce qui, parfois, conduit à de la souffrance psychique. A contrario, quand ils sont reconnus, un sentiment de plaisir peut être observé. Le plaisir dans le travail des Facteurs provient surtout de l’autonomie dans les livraisons, autonomie qui conduit à un sentiment d’accomplissement par la réussite, renforcé par la reconnaissance des clients et des collègues. A l’opposé, la surcharge, les pressions et le sentiment de manque de reconnaissance de la part de la hiérarchie provoquent de la souffrance psychique. Cette étude met aussi en évidence l’absence de différence significative entre les Facteurs et les Guichetiers quant à leur niveau de santé mentale. / Over the past 20 years the Brazilian Postoffice and Telegrapg- ECT, has undergone a constant process of modernization and technological restructuring and management. Based on this fact it was decided that the general aim of this thesis was to analyze the current state of mental health of commercial attendants and postmen of ECT in the state of Paraíba. Regarding the methodological aspect this is an epidemiological cross-sectional analytical study with a qualitative and quantitative approach in a sample of 150 commercialattendants and 150 postmen.In qualitative terms, semi-structured interviews were conducted, and in the quantitative level the GHQ-12 Goldenberg, the inventory of motivations Blais and other developed and tested questionnaire was used.With regard to theoretical aspects, this study was based on consolidated literature in the field of motivation and mental health at work. As for the results, commercial attendants showed a higher level of motivation than postmen, especially regarding intrinsic motivation.Regarding the GHQ-12 analysis, it was found that 4.4% of commercial attendants showed some symptoms of depression and 33.1% had anxiety symptoms. Among postmen, 20.7% showed a worrying situation of depression and emotional stress and 24.4% showed no sense of self-efficacy.Furthermore, psychodynamic analyzes demonstrated that the acts of creative intelligence of commercial attendants are generally not validated by chief’s recognition, which in some cases has led to psychological distress. Rather, when they feel recognized a feeling of pleasure arises.As for the postmen, the feeling of pleasure is mainly the consequence of autonomy in the mail delivery, which leads to a feeling of self achievement through the success at the task, which is reinforced by the recognition of clients and colleagues.On the other hand, work overload, the pressures and the lack of recognition by the hierarchy cause psychological distress. This study demonstrates that there are no significant differences between business servers and mail carriers regarding their mental health.

[pt] CARREIRAS EM DECLÍNIO: DISPENSA DE FUNÇÃO GERENCIAL E EXPERIÊNCIAS DE PRAZER E SOFRIMENTO NO TRABALHO / [en] DECLINING CAREERS: DISMISSAL FROM MANAGERIAL POSITIONS, AND EXPERIENCES OF PLEASURE AND SUFFERING AT WORKMARCIA ROCHA DO VALLE 24 April 2019 (has links)
[pt] A dissertação analisa as vivências de prazer e sofrimento no trabalho, bem como as eventuais estratégias defensivas, de um grupo de empregados que foram dispensados de funções gerenciais e permaneceram no emprego, numa empresa do setor de energia. Os dados obtidos nas vinte e sete entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas, realizadas com esta finalidade, foram analisados pelo método de análise de conteúdo e apontaram que a dispensa da função gerencial potencializou as vivências de sofrimento nestes trabalhadores. A maioria dos relatos de sofrimento se relaciona à perda das experiências de trabalho consideradas prazerosas, vivenciadas durante o exercício da função gerencial. Analogamente, a maioria dos relatos de prazer está associado ao término das experiências de sofrimento atreladas à ocupação de função gerencial. Além disto, a análise dos relatos permitiu que fossem identificadas estratégias defensivas, mobilizadas pelos entrevistados, que foram organizadas em nove categorias, nomeadas pela pesquisadora como: naturalização do ocorrido, desqualificação do processo que levou à dispensa da função gerencial, desqualificação dos gerentes atuais, autoconsolo: podia ser pior, expectativa pela aposentadoria, hesitação diante de novas oportunidades, expectativa por mudança de setor, esquecimento do ocorrido, e minimização da mudança ocorrida. Os resultados alcançados levam a uma reflexão sobre o conceito de carreira associado à cultura da empresa e sobre a importância do exercício da função gerencial neste contexto. / [en] The study analyzes the experiences of pleasure and suffering in the work, as well as the eventual defensive strategies, of a group of employees who were dismissed from managerial positions and remained working at an energy company. Data collected in the twenty-seven individual semi-structured interviews carried out
for this purpose were analyzed through the content analysis method and pointed out that the dismissal of the managerial position increased the experiences of suffering in these workers. Most reports of suffering are related to the loss of pleasure experienced as a manager. Similarly, most reports of pleasure are associated with the end of the suffering experienced as a manager. In addition, the analysis of the reports allowed the identification of defensive strategies classified into nine categories, named by the researcher as: naturalization of the event, disqualification of the process that led to dismissal of managerial position, disqualification of current managers, self-consolation: it could be worse, expectation for retirement, hesitation about new opportunities, expectation for changing the sector, forgetting what happened, and minimizing the change that occurred. The results obtained lead to a reflection on the concept of career associated with company culture and on the importance of the exercise of the managerial function in this context.
