Spatial dynamics of the population in the Czech Republic (1989 - 2007)

Vobecka, Jana 30 August 2010 (has links) (PDF)
The aim of the thesis is to describe, analyse and discuss the development of spatial population dynamics in the Czech Republic between 1989 and 2007. Demographic structure and migration, the two components of spatial population dynamics, are analysed using two spatial dimensions, the urban-suburban-rural gradient and the core-periphery region distinction, using quantitative analyses, including gravity regression modelling of migration. The analysis primarily focuses on domestic migration as the main vehicle of spatial population dynamics. It discusses the structure, determinants, and temporal evolution of migration and its consequences on the population structure in different spatial categories. The thesis indicates that suburbanisation has recently become the main factor influencing Czech spatial population dynamics. The key factor determining migration destination is the social status of migrants, whereas age has only secondary importance. However, since Czechs are not very mobile, population dispersal is less large-scale than in Western-Europe. This explains why recent domestic migration patterns have had only a small measurable influence on the social or demographic structures of the population across spatial categories.

Aksesuarų komplektai moterims "Intriga" / Accessories complects for women "Intrigue"

Zavackytė, Lina 02 August 2011 (has links)
Vis dėlto, galimybė pirkėjui turėti daugiafunkcinį gaminį vietoje įprasto – visada viliojanti, taigi paklausa turėtų būti nepaisant to, kad kaina šiek tiek aukštesnė. Tokio pobūdţio aksesuarai sudarytų pagrindinį asortimentą įkurtoje internetinėje parduotuvėje „Skina... Not only lithuanian, but all the world market has a lack of universal clothes accessories, which could help to buisy women to save time and adopt their look according to day needs. Also is a plenty goods from third countries, which are unsuccessfull interpretations of professional designers and have bad quality. Analising, how deigners of Europe and USA connects mutual styles, to be proper for buisy man for various life cases, were created two sets of accesories. First composition is made of bag-purse, belt-mini skirt and cap necklace, another one - bag-purse, belt-collar and cap-barret. It‘s independant accessories complects, which helps to create different styles. Those complects view and function can be changed by using zippers. It can hide or show additional areas of leather and that way it creates new look or function. It was decided to use turqoise and variet leather (which was coloried with 3 different colours) combination. After analysis of our days designers creation, conclusion is that universal accessories idea is not new, but still not enough explotated too. This type of accessories is more complicated than the regular one, so to create it need more time and to make it- more leather and other measures. On the other side, customer has a possibility to have multifunctionl product, and that always is a good reason to buy. Besause of it, little bit bigger price... [to full text]

Z formaliuju metodu panaudojimas informaciniu sistemu projektavime / The use of Z for informational systems design

Paulauskaitė, Agnė 20 May 2005 (has links)
Summary Still today informal methods are the most common for informational systems design. They don‘t allows unambiguously understand formulating tasks, moreover availably specifications not always are complete. Because of this informational system does not correspond to users needs. Using informal methods specification transformation to software code isn‘t always possible. In real time informational systems problematic domain is varying in time. Thus are changing requirements for informational systems. Using informal methods, to solve this problem, usually we need to rewrite software. Using formal methods we don‘t have to rewrite software, it is enough organization business instructions specified in Z transform to software code. In this paper we present research results about Z specification method use for formal requirements specification for informational systems design. Using Z/EVES - an interactive system for composing, checking, and analyzing Z specifications, was accomplished Z specification validation, theretofore reviewing the list of available Z specification validation tools. Z specification language was compared with object-oriented language Object–Z to find out advantages and disadvantages of these two formal specification languages. Were discussed questions about Z specification transformation to Object-Z, which facilities an object-oriented specification extension to object-oriented programming languages. In this paper transformation methodology from object-Z... [to full text]

Tėvų informaciniai poreikiai švietimo kaitos kontekste / Parents briefing needs in process of educational transformation

Bartušienė, Audronė 03 June 2005 (has links)
According to the different sources, transformation of educational system in Lithuania is analysed since XX century to nowaday. The parents opinion about transformation and development of educational system and the problems related with giving information analysed in Lithuanian and foreign investigative works is given in this master work. Parents briefing needs are dispute din the process of the educational reform. The investigation about parents briefing needs was done in this master work. Two methods: a questionnaire survey and a descriptive statistics were used for this investigation. It let ground the authors hypothesis: 1) Parents of students are more interested in aspects of education which are connected with their children; 2) Parents of students are less interested in aspects of education which are connected with functioning of education. Finally, the conclusion and suggestions related to searching materialis given in this master work.

Includes supplementary material. / Published as received: "volume 1" only. / Distributing naval combat power into many small ships and unmanned air vehicles that capitalize on emerging technology offers a transformational way to think about naval combat in the littorals in the 2020 time frame. Project CROSSBOW is an engineered systems of systems that proposes to use such distributed forces to provide forward presence to gain and maiantain access, to provide sea control, and to project combat power in the littoral regions of the world. Project CROSSBOW is the result of a yearlong, campus-wide, integrated research systems engineering effort involving 40 student researchers and 15 supervising faculty members. This report (Volume I) summarizes the CROSSBOW project. It catalogs the major features of each of the components, and includes by reference a separate volume for each of the major systems (ships, aircraft, and logistics). It also prresents the results of the mission and campaign analysis that informed the trade-offs between these components. It describes certain functions of CROSSBOW in detail through specialized supporting studies. The student work presented here is technologically feasible, integrated and imaginative. The student project cannot by itself provide definitive designs or analyses covering such a broad topic. It does strongly suggest that the underlying concepts have merit and deserve further serious study by the Navy as it transforms itself.

Svensson, Amelie January 2015 (has links)

AN EMPIRICAL INVESTIGATION OF POTENTIAL RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE TRAITS AND PROBLEM SOLVING PRACTICES TO SUPPORT LEAN TRANSFORMATIONS

Fadnavis, Saket D 01 January 2015 (has links)
Organizational culture can be defined as a set of values and behavior that contribute to the unique social and psychological environment of an organization. It is the major contributing factor in determining the progress of an organization towards the desired objectives. The importance of organizational culture for successful Lean transformation has been emphasized prior research. Lean implementation is based on continuous improvement, the achievement of which is based on problem solving practices. For sustained continuous improvement, problem solving must be done in a repeatable and disciplined way. However, not many organizations follow a structured approach towards problem solving. Some preliminary research indicates that organizational culture appears to be an important factor that influences the nature of problem solving practices used in an organization. This research, therefore, is focused towards establishing whether a relationship exists between these two aspects, namely, organizational culture and problem solving practices in relation to an organization’s success with Lean transformation. A comprehensive survey was developed to evaluate these two aspects. The survey was then administered to employees at different organizations, designations, various sectors and geographical regions. The survey results were analyzed to evaluate if an organization’s culture influences the problem solving practices used.

Explaining the asynchronies in the introduction of prison privatisation in England and Wales : a structural Marxist approach

Papageorgiou, Ioannis January 2013 (has links)
The expansion of prison privatisation presents distinctive traits. One of them is its peculiar temporal expansion in a comparative point of view. This research focuses on the intrastate temporal expansion and more specifically in the case of England and Wales. What is researched is the reason behind the delay in the emergence of prison privatisation, in other words the asynchrony between the introduction of general and prison privatisation policies. This Thesis rejects explanatory frameworks based on historical analogies, pragmatic concerns or economic arguments and puts the explanation in a discourse of political interaction. In this framework, previous approaches related to the concept of globalisation, commodification of citizenry and political culture do not provide either suitable analytical tools in explaining the asynchrony in question. This research, instead, aims to bring forward the class struggle as catalytic agent in criminal justice system developments using a Structural Marxist concept of the State and its transformations. In the Capitalist Mode of Production the State acquires a unifying role among the contradicting classes by promoting the supposed general interest of the society, in order to allow the continuation of class domination and labour exploitation. This is feasible through the constantly unfolding hegemonic strategy which organizes the cohesion of the power bloc and disorganizes the dominated classes. Hegemonic strategy substantiates in the State Apparatuses which is not just a tool for policy making but rather a point where contradicting class powers condense; policy formation as such reflects the vector of class power in the apparatuses. Hegemonic strategy is set in motion by the State Personnel which is relatively independent knot in the transmission of domination between the power bloc and the dominated classes. State transformations are indications of this strategy since they inscribe in the structure of the State the vector of the class struggle. Hegemonic strategy took interesting contours after the mid-‘60s. The capital over-accumulation crisis on the one hand and on the other Authoritarian Statism promoted extensive State transformations as in the case of privatisations. Massive reactions, however, caused by the labour movement, required their containment and consequently a smoothly operating criminal justice system. The entrenchment of prison officers, therefore, from the wider changes in the labour status became crucial and a state transformation in itself, although by absence. This explains the delay of prison privatisation which appears indeed at the end of a long socially unstable period.

Ferrec, Yann 07 July 2008 (has links) (PDF)
