Racism in this situation, for presenting, usually in an invisible way does not leave explicit marks and it is confused with psychological and moral offenses.

[en] DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND GENERATIONAL PSYCHIC TRANSMISSION / [pt] VIOLÊNCIA CONJUGAL E TRANSMISSÃO PSÍQUICA GERACIONAL

HELENA PINHEIRO JUCA-VASCONCELOS 14 August 2018 (has links)
[en] This study aims at evaluating the possible relationship between domestic violence and generational psychic transmission. It is relevant due to the high prevalence of violence against women, and because this is actually considered a public health problem. The main objective was to investigate the possible transmission of violence from one generation to another and its probable resonance. It examines what types of violence the victims suffered and how they conceptualized it. To achieve the objectives, a qualitative fieldwork was carried out interviewing nine women victims of physical violence by intimate partners through means of Internet chat conferences. The procedure used was the Underlying Discourse Unveiling Method (UDUM). The results indicate a clear repetition of violence among family members, from the standpoint of the perpetrator and of the victim.

[en] PSYCHOLOGICAL VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: THE EFFECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ON CHILDREN / [pt] VIOLÊNCIA PSICOLÓGICA CONTRA CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES: REPERCUSSÕES DA VIOLÊNCIA CONJUGAL SOBRE OS FILHOS

NAIR CRISTINA BARRETTO BOUDET FERNANDES 19 July 2016 (has links)
[en] The following research aims to discuss repercussions of domestic violence as well as psychological violence against children and adolescents, considering offspring exposure to family dynamics of frequent violence between parents. To do this, a qualitative study was conducted by analyzing four cases in a women s domestic violence treatment unit in Rio de Janeiro. The results demonstrate the continued segmentation of the service network, compromising the complexity of a family approach and making it difficult to guarantee the concurrent and integrated human rights of women domestic violence victims and their children on the impact of these conflicts as possible expressions of psychological violence.
