[pt] AUTO LOCALIZAÇÃO DE ROBÔS MÓVEIS POR FUSÃO DE SENSORES NA PRESENÇA DE INTERFERÊNCIA ELETROMAGNÉTICA / [en] SELF-LOCALIZATION OF MOBILE ROBOTS THROUGH SENSOR FUSION IN THE PRESENCE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE18 March 2021 (has links)
Simulações e experimentos comprovaram a eficiência do filtro implementado. / [en] Internal inspection of storage tanks can be long, costly and even detrimental to the health of the inspector. An alternative to human inspection is the use of robotic systems. These systems can be teleoperated from outside the tanks, making it possible to carry out the inspection more safely, quickly and in some cases without having to empty it. In order to provide the location of any defects in the tank, the mobile robot must be able to know its relative position within it. Self-localization is of great importance for mobile robot navigation. Inspection robots are, for the most part, vehicles with wheels or tracks. This configuration adds two difficulties that need to be addressed in the localization task. Due to its configuration, in this type of vehicle, wheel slip is intrinsic to its operation, being essential to take into account its effect to model its behavior properly. Another difficulty is the use of magnetic wheels, due to the strong magnetic field generated by these elements, which interfere with the measurements of magnetic sensors, such as compasses. In this work, a Kalman filter was developed and implemented for the localization of a four-wheel fixed magnetic robot, from the fusion of inertial sensors and odometry. In the modeling of the vehicle, a kinematic model was used as the basis for a dynamic model, which allowed to consider the intrinsic slippage of the system. In the sensor fusion, measurements of the magnetometer on board were discarded, due to the great interference produced by the wheels and the great distance that would be necessary between them to be unaffected by noise. Simulations and experiments have proven the efficiency of the implemented filter.

[pt] O propósito desta tese é identificar, descrever e explicar
o processo através
do qual fatores culturais, psicológicos, sociais, políticos
e administrativos
presentes na organização controladora interagem com a
controlada brasileira,
afetando o conhecimento organizacional desta.
a sociedade
mundial, as nações, as organizações e os indivíduos. O
enfraquecimento do
poder do Estado nacional, principalmente como agente
econômico, e a
diversos setores
econômicos, entre os quais o sistema financeiro. Embora
correntes do
pensamento estratégico, como a perspectiva baseada em
recursos (resourcebased)
reconheçam a importância do conhecimento organizacional -
As evidências
A análise daí resultante mostra a
insuficiência dos modelos
teóricos correntes das diversas perspectivas isoladas -
gestão de conhecimento;
aprendizagem organizacional; organizações de aprendizagem;
mudança
organizacional; culturas nacionais; cultura organizacional;
processo de
internacionalização - para dar conta da complexidade do
fenômeno do
conhecimento organizacional e sugere uma abordagem
integrativa com raízes na
biologia do conhecimento e no construcionismo social. / [en] The aim of this dissertation is the identification,
description, and
explanation of the process through which cultural,
psychological, social,
political, and administrative factors that are present in a
foreign acquirer interact
with the Brazilian acquired company, affecting its
organizational knowledge.
The latest ten years have witnessed the growing debate on
globalization and its
impacts over the world society, nations, organizations, and
individuals. The
weakening of the power of the national State, chiefly as an
economic agent, and
the intensification of worldwide business competitiveness
have been
accompanied by waves of mergers and acquisitions that have
affected countries,
as Brazil, eager for foreign direct investment in several
industries, such as the
financial sector. Although some strategic thought schools,
as the resource-based
approach, reckon the importance of organizational
knowledge - mainly in its
tacit dimension - as a sustainable competitive advantage,
it has been examined in
a fragmented way, separated from organizational learning
and change, to which
processes it is inextricably linked. Furthermore, the
process of knowing appears
isolated from its context, although several factors need to
be considered, mainly
when it is necessary to study their manifestations in
companies acquired by
foreign organizations. This study focuses on the retail
areas of two banks that
have been bought by foreign - a British and a Dutch -
banks. The methodology
used was a two-case study, under a qualitative approach,
based on semistructured
interviews with branch managerial personnel of the two
banks, in Rio
de Janeiro. Evidences brought about by these interviews
have been triangulated
with those coming from the perusal of public documents
about both the foreign
owners and the Brazilian acquired banks; from the archival
records to which we
are allowed to have access; from the direct observation of
some cultural artifacts in the retail branches; and from
some brief interviews with qualified informants
in the corporate headquarters of the Brazilian acquired
banks. The resulting
analysis shows the insufficiency of current theoretical
models from several
isolated perspectives - such as knowledge management;
organizational
knowledge; knowledge organizations; organizational change;
national cultures;
organizational culture; internationalization process - to
grasp the complexity of
organizational knowledge phenomenon and suggests an
integrative approach
rooted in cognitive biology and social constructionism.

[en] Quadrotors are vehicles that have four fixed rotors in the vertical direction. Due to its mechanical simplicity compared to traditional helicopters, these vehicles have become increasingly popular in the research, military and, more recently, industrial fields. This type of vehicle first appeared in the early twentieth century, but the development of small-scale models was only possible after the recent evolution and miniaturization of embedded electronics, electric motors and batteries. A Quadrotor can fly in any direction by changing its inclination relative to the ground, so it is essential to calculate and properly adjust its attitude. The inertial measurement units (IMU) emerged as one solution to this problem. By merging the IMU sensors data, it is possible to estimate the vehicle s attitude. This dissertation presents solutions for both the estimation and the control of the vehicle s attitude. The developed mathematical models are validated with numerical simulations and experimental tests. The goal is that the presented solutions give enough good results so they can be used in small-scale Quadrotors.

[en] DATA FUSION OF TIME OF FLIGHT TECHNIQUES USING ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCERS FOR WIND SPEED MEASUREMENT / [pt] FUSÃO DE DADOS DAS TÉCNICAS DE TEMPO DE TRÂNSITO UTILIZANDO TRANSDUTORES ULTRA-SÔNICOS PARA MEDIÇÃO DA VELOCIDADE DO VENTOJUAN MOISES MAURICIO VILLANUEVA 10 January 2018 (has links)
apresentados. / [en] Flow speed measurement has considerable relevance in industrial and scientific
applications, where measurements with low uncertainty are required. In this work, a system for
wind speed measurement using ultrasonic transducers is designed and modelled. This system
makes use of data fusion techniques for the time-of-flight estimation, combining independent
information provided by the threshold detection and phase difference methods. For this
purpose, this work consists of two main parts. The first part presents an analysis of uncertainty
and error propagation concerning the threshold detection and phase difference techniques and
considering two structures for the wind speed measurement. Measurement ranges are
associated uncertainties are then compared for each of those estrutures. In the second part of
this work, data fusion techniques applied to instrumentation and measurement are studied; two
main techniques are singled out: (a) Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE), (b) Fuzzy
compatibility relation and Order Weighted Average (OWA) operators with partial aggregation.
These fusion techniques are then applied to the time-of-flight estimation, by considering
several independent measurements obtained through the threshold detection and phase
difference techniques. Finally, uncertainty analysis is carried out by quantifying the influence
of each independent measurement on the global fusion result. A case study is also presented,
where an instrument for wind speed measurements with low uncertainty is designed and
modelled. Appropriate techniques of data fusion aimed at improving accuracy and realiability
are considered. Experiments are performed in a wind tunnel in order to verify the consistency
of the results in view of the theoretical studies.
