[pt] Esta pesquisa foi realizada no Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro no ano de 2004, tendo como foco de atenção as crianças, os jovens e os professores que aderiram, em visitas escolares, ao Programa Educativo, e os profissionais responsáveis por esse atendimento. A partir da observação direta de registros escritos e de imagens, buscou conhecer e compreender as interações entre crianças, jovens, adultos e obras de arte no espaço do Museu e refletir sobre essas interações no que se referem ao desenvolvimento da sensibilidade estética e da capacidade de apreciação crítica. Reconhecendo a infância como uma construção social e compreendendo as crianças e jovens como atores sociais, procurou, no referencial teórico da Sociologia da Infância, na filosofia antropológica de Walter Benjamin e na psicologia de Lev Semenovich Vigotsky, as bases fundamentais de interpretação. Ao perceber a arte como fonte da subjetividade humana, patrimônio e direito a ser legitimado, e o museu e a escola como parceiros potenciais na tarefa da formação artística e cultural de todos, a pesquisa procurou, nas redes de significado que se formam entre os indivíduos envolvidos e as obras de arte expostas, subsídios para a construção de um texto que se inspira na etnografia como metodologia para a descrição e análise da realidade observada. / [en] This research was realized at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro in 2004, having its main interest in the children, youngsters and teachers that joined, during school visits, its Educational Program, as well as the professionals who attended the visitors. This paper sought to understand the interactions between children, youngsters, adults and works of art within the space of the museum and reflect about those interactions concerning the aesthetic sensitivity and critical appreciation through direct observation, visual and written records. Recognizing childhood as a social construct and understanding the children and youngsters as social actors, sought theoretical references in the sociology of childhood, in the anthropological philosophy of Walter Benjamin and in the psychology of Lev Semenovich Vigotsky the fundamental bases for its interpretation. Understanding art as a source of human subjectivity and legitimate right, as well as the museum and the school as potential partners in the artistic and cultural education of all, this research sought in the meaningful nets woven between every individual involved and the exhibited works of art, resources for writing a text inspired by ethnography as a methodology for the description and analysis of the observed reality.

[pt] O texto que aqui se projeta pretende investigar na produção da vanguarda artística brasileira o desenvolvimento de linguagens abertas ao diálogo entre espaço e lugar da arte em seu contexto cultural. Os limites explorados na conexão com esses campos deflagram e levantam inquietações quanto aos agentes e linguagens envolvidas em experimentar na arte situações, no espaço urbano, museu e corpo. O diálogo que desenvolvemos neste trabalho tem como foco linguagens e eventos que procuraram no Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro diálogos que desvelassem e extremassem os vínculos criados entre artista e espaço museológico. O ambiente que Affonso Eduardo Reidy encontrou para projetar o museu nos sugere ligar arquitetura, natureza e cidade ao encontro de um lugar em construção, ou seja, aberto a relações que se manifestaram no contato com os agentes que o frequentaram dentro e fora de seus limites físicos. Seguimos assim, a buscar através nas fendas das concepções de arte, artista e museu, a mobilidade surgida nas manifestações que construíram vínculos e indicaram integrar na poética artística, processos de investigação e ampliação de seus campos de atuação. / [en] The text that projected want to investigate in the production of artistic avant-garde Brazilian development language open to dialogue between space and place of art in their cultural context. The limits explored in connection with these fields spread and raise concerns about the agents and languages involved in trying situations in the art in urban space, museum and body. The dialogue that we developed in this work focuses on language and events that looked at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro and dialogues that unveil the links created between the artist and museum. The environment that Affonso Eduardo Reidy met to design the museum suggests linking architecture, nature and city to find a place in construction, other words, open to relations that are expressed in contact with the officers who attended inside and outside its boundaries physical. We thus get through the holes of the conceptions of art, artist and museum, mobility emerged in the demonstrations that have built links and integrating indicated in the poetic art, research processes and expansion of their fields.

[pt] A presente dissertação tem como objetivo traçar um panorama das práticas estético-político-pedagógicas do Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR) por um viés decolonial. Estas práticas, abordadas como estético-político-pedagógicas, se referem às práticas museais como um todo, ou seja, todas as ações empreendidas pelo museu, desde seus aspectos curatoriais até aquilo que compreende o eixo do setor educativo. Ao tratar de práticas estéticas, o presente trabalho assume a estética como espaço epistemológico, ao definir tais práticas como políticas, ressalta o papel crítico e ativista da arte e da educação e, ao interpretar tais práticas como pedagógicas, concebe o museu como um espaço de educação não formal. A investigação teve como metodologia a análise bibliográfica e documental do material produzido pelo museu ou relativo a ele. A partir do panorama traçado, é possível verificar que este museu nada contra a maré porque encontra brechas em um projeto hegemônico, realizando um projeto que pode ser percebido em alguns aspectos como a prática de uma pedagogia decolonial, uma vez que manifesta alternativas ao projeto modernidade/ colonialidade, à história oficial da cidade do Rio de Janeiro e às formas tradicionais de construção de conhecimento. / [en] The objective of this dissertation is to draw a panorama of the aesthetic-political-pedagogical practices in Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR – Rio Art Museum) in a decolonial perspective. These practices, named as aesthetic-political-pedagogical, refer to the museum practices as a whole, that is, the actions endeavoured by the institution, from the curatorial aspects to the ones that belong strictly to the educational programme. By dealing with aesthetic practices, the present study assumes the aesthetic as an epistemological field, by defining these practices as political, it highlights the critical and activist role of art and education and, by interpreting such practices as pedagogical, it understands the museum as a non-formal education setting. The research used as a methodology the bibliographic and documentary analysis of the material produced by and about the museum. From the outlined panorama, it is possible to verify that this museum swims against the tide because it finds cracks in a hegemonic project, carrying out a project that can be perceived in some respects as a decolonial pedagogy practice, once it presents alternatives to the modernity/ coloniality project, to the official history of Rio de Janeiro city and to the traditional ways of constructing knowledge.

[pt] O intenso movimento em torno da construção, ampliação e reforma dos museus de arte em todo o mundo aponta para uma valorização do papel da arquitetura na circulação da arte, como evento midiático ou como geradora de novas centralidades urbanas, e na adequação dos museus às importantes transformações que ocorrem no campo da arte desde os anos 1960. O trabalho apresenta três abordagens do tema, contempladas uma em cada capítulo. O primeiro examina a participação da arquitetura nas estratégias de representação e de comunicação no ato da exposição, o segundo trata da arquitetura icônica que transforma o museu em imagem e símbolo que circula na mídia a serviço da instituição, uma terceira abordagem coloca o foco na arquitetura efêmera e trabalha com a ideia do museu como espaço contingencial que não se ancora em uma estrutura fixa, mas num sistema de conexões sociais e espaciais. / [en] The intense movement revolving around the construction, expansion and remodeling of art museums throughout the world signals the growing importance of the role of architecture in the circulation of art, whether as a media even or as a generator of new urban centralities, and in the adaptation of museums to the important transformations that have occurred in the field of art since the 1960s. The paper presents three approaches to the theme, each contemplated in a chapter. The first examines the participation of architecture in the communication and representation strategies in the act of exhibition, the second addresses iconic architecture that transforms the museum into image and symbol that appears in the media at the institution s service, the third chapter focuses on ephemeral architecture in the context of art, working with the idea of the museum as an undetermined space that is not anchored to a fixed structure, but to a system of social and spatial connections.
