The main purpose of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the functioning of the project "School milk and School fruit and vegetables" in the selected region, to find out its possible shortcomings and to propose further direction of this program. For the purposes of this diploma thesis the district of Tábor was selected. As part of the practical part of this diploma thesis, the primary research in this district first carried out through an online questionnaire survey. Subsequently, a survey of parents' opinion was conducted in the selected elementary school through all nine years of schooling. At the end there are mentioned problem areas of the project and suggested concrete recommendations. There is also verified the possibility of using organic food and regional foods in the project, and determined the attitude of schools and parents to the "Dainty" Decree.

This thesis is focused on the formation of problematic and critical situations during physical education lessons at primary schools. Its task is to examine how teachers progress in their solution making and how they draw recommendations for practice from it. The theoretical part defines the concepts and theoretical basis og the area of discipline, safety and physical education for children. The research was conducted by questionnaire form which was sent to 22 primary schools. 72 filled forms were sent back for evaluation. Then I conducted additional individual interviews with two teachers from the elementary school Kunratice. The practical part analyzes the results of a survey and interviews with teachers. The results of this work show that problematic and critical situations within physical education classes occur. The thesis also describes physical education according to the framework educational program. The practical part describes the results of the questionnaire survey, which examined how teachers evaluate pupils in the subject of physical education.

Evaluation of commuting of workers and students according to selected sociodemographic characteristics in selected municipalities in the South Moravian Region. Diploma thesis, Brno: Mendel University, 2016. The subject of the diploma thesis is evaluation of commuting to work and schools according to selected sociodemographic characteristics of the district and other selected cities in the South Moravia. They are also evaluated the interdistrict directional currents, the development of commuting between referenced years and the commuting balance. For selected indicators is made a comparison between years 2001 and 2011. In this timeframe, indicators of commuting to work are analysed by gender, age, economic activity, frequency (whether people commute daily) and spend time of commuting. An analysis of commuting to school is analysed according to age (divided into categories 6-14 years and more than 15 years) and the frequency (again, whether commute daily). On the basis of the data is calculated and compared the complex functional size of interest settlements and further there is projected in a cartographic form the commuting hinterland of Brno. The diploma thesis shows the overall decline of the number of commuters in the observed period, but this phenomenon still has a great importance. We can expect a significant impact of commuting on the development of the region and therefore this thesis can be used as a basis for process strategic plans of the observed municipalities.

Master thesis deals with the actual fluctuation in the birth rate in the Czech Republic focusing on the situation of kindergartens from the view-point of the government, founders, directors of kindergartens and the public (community). Three borough of the city Brno -- Bohunice, Medlánky a Žabovřesky were chosen for solving the situation. The proposed strategies are based on qualitative research, creating forecasts the number of required sites in kindergartens for the next 6 years and SWOT analysis. The strategies are designed to cope with fluctuations in the birth rate from the perspective of the founders of the kindergartens.
