This thesis concerns the cooperation between teacher and teaching assistant (TA) at mainstream elementary school, with the emphasis on perception of TA's presence at the first stage and the second stage of education. It is comprised of two sections. Theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on the current concept definition of integrative and inclusive pedagogy, and coherent changes in recent years. The second one outlines the professional approach to TA, with emphasis on their usage at mainstream schools, including their employment abroad. The last chapter targets on mutual relationship of TA and other pedagogical staff, teachers and students themselves. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to mixed research which has two parts. The first one deals with the role of TA at mainstream elementary school focusing on his cooperation with teacher, in terms of a first-stage and second-stage class. For purpose of this part of study was chosen the qualitative research method with the usage of semi-structured in-depth interview. There were selected three respondents with required profiles. Research of the feedback during the defenses of final works at art schools focused on new media. This thesis describes the process of defenses of the final and diploma works within six art colleges in the Czech Republic. The thesis emphasises observing the process of discussion after the presentation of artwork. Emphatic analysis of this year's final evaluation of practical work is carried out within each observed art studio. Both students and teachers express themselves to the process of the defense within this text. The text reflects the importance of this particular period and compares different approaches. In the resume of the thesis)the author advises some of the formal methods that can help to improve the discussion and defense itself.The author focuses on the importance of a comprehensive written evaluation from the beginning of the thesis.

The thesis is a theorethical study with the main theme of teachers' education. It is divided into five chapters. The first chapter describes world trends in the area of teachers' education which are being adopted in the Czech Republic. Next three chapters are focused on the education of each teachers' group - preprimary, primary, secondary school. Each of these chapters includes the historic context of teachers' education and the content of their education. Today's conception of school education is considered as the key faktor which should be reflected in present teachers' education. The fifth chapter contains the perspectives of future development of teachers' education.

The aim of this master's thesis is to demonstrate the relationship between the behaviour and the organisation of a middle- sized village combined primary and lower secondary school and the choices parents make. This study deals with the development of school strategy in dependency of external and internal conditions. The second main topic of the study are the transfer of the pupils to and from the school, the parents' decision behind the transfers and pupils' experiences. The theoretic part explains concept of the school as an organisation and an institution. It is outlined a brief review of the Czech literature on studied topic. The empirical part of the thesis is a qualitative case study of one school based on analysis of municipal dates, school documentation and interviews with school employees, parents and pupils. Seven embedded cases of pupils of the school are described. They are pupils coming out of the catchment area or transferring from other schools. The thesis describes the similarities and differences among the described cases of pupils a draws some lessons for the school leadership.

The thesis deals with the professional competencies of teachers of nursery schools. The theoretical part focuses on contemporary education of nursery school teachers and its history in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on professional competencies. Besides defining the concept of professional competence and their various concepts. Czech education preschool teachers is contrasted with the situation in Europe. The main aim of the research part of the thesis is to describe the differences between differently educated teachers of kindergartens within the conceptualization of professional competencies. The investigation is specifically compared how teachers assess the importance of professional competence and adequacy of their development in the initial training. The diploma thesis is focused on class meetings at the first level of primary school. It discusses how parents and teachers perceive these meetings, and what is needed to be prepared to organize the meeting. The theoretical part is based on literature and resources written about class meetings. Its aim was to map the current trends in the organization of class meetings with regard to effective cooperation between school and family. The empirical part presents the results of the questionnaire survey among teachers. Its aims to give inspiration and examples of good practice, to encourage particularly beginning teachers in organizing class meetings, to offer experience with this form of communication between school and family, and to gather ideas on how to manage class meetings. In the end, this diploma thesis brings and reflects a new experience with the class meeting held in electronic form.

The present diploma thesis concentrates on the usage of inquiry based education in the primary stage of education in the course of teaching science. Attention is firstly given to the students' skills which this type of education utilizes and without which it would be impossible to apply it in practice. These skills are analyzed on a theoretical level and consequently, by means of a didactic test, are practically tested with pupils at primary school level. Another part of the thesis are materials for selected science topics which evolve from the inquiry based education principle. The topics are chosen in accord with the official educational programme of the Czech education systém and contribute towards a more effective educational process and the heightening of the interest of students in science. The diploma thesis focuses on the experimental and educational reform schools, that have been developed and operated in the 20th and 30th of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. It shows the political situation in the newly formed Czechoslovakia, as weel as monitors the development of education after 1918. The core of this diploma thesis is in the reform efforts of selected experimental schools. It presents experimental work school in Holešovice, "Dům dětství" in Horní Krnsko and "Dětská farma" of Eduard Štroch. In this part of thesis were the educational devices and objectives of these experimental schools, the organization and progress of teaching described. It also focuses on the selected individuals who were participated in their creation. The thesis analyzes the reform effort, which was followed by reform educators in the 30th, mainly the reform attempt of Václav Příhoda and his unitary educational model.

The thesis "Factors that affect professional development of a headmaster" aims to research influences on further professional development of headmasters of primary/elementary/basic schools of art in Central Bohemia Region. Through questionnaires based on methods of quality and quantity research, the goal is to compile a ranking of factors that influence professional life of head teachers of art schools. Some of the tasks were to investigate about initial experience of future head teachers, if they find the law-imposed qualification sufficient or how family backround, health or personal characteristics influence their professional development. The results of the investigation and conclusions will broaden theoretical and empiric knowledge of the demanding work of head teachers and introduce some new facts about work of head teachers of art schools. The dissertation deals with the forms of cooperation between family and kindergarten. The theoretical part characterizes the preschool child. It discribes each area of preschool children′s evolution? It maps the possibilities of cooperation between schools and kindergartens in the curriculum documents and others educational documents. Also it characterizes forms of cooperation in the education program Step by Step. It defines the concepts of proffesional and personal this findding on the Franework educational program for preschool education. The research examines the fulfillment of theindicators set out in the document named Competent Educator of the 21 st Century: ISSA s Definition of Quality Pedagogy, i tis inclusion in preschool education in program Step by Step, Kindergarten Kadaň. It describes the aktivity based on research, which was held in collaboration with the family in Preschool Šafaříkova louny.
