The aim of this diploma thesis is to present one of the aspekts of teaching of early reading and writing in primary schools in England. By this aspekt we mean methods that are used during teaching early reading and writing. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis familiarize the reader with the education system in England as whole, describes the National Curriculum and closely familiarize the reader with the pre-school curriculum and primary school curriculum. From both curriculums are pointed out especially those aspects which relate to teaching English language. In addition, there will be presented programs of teaching early reading and writing and closely described methods of teaching early reading and writing. The practical part of diploma thesis is based on research which was performed in community primary school "Dale Community Primary School". The research was conducted by several methods: questionnaire survey, observation and controlled observation. The questionnaires and observation aimed at finding methods of teaching early reading and writing which are used at the specific primary school. Thesis on topic " The changes in management education in the Czech Republic at the turn of the entury through the eyes of the school directors at that time" captures the abolition of central control of education in the Czech Republic from 1999 to 2004 and describes the transition to the new decentralized management system. This is a qualitative analysis, propped on interviews with experienced directors of elementary and secondary schools. In observed period, these executives both personally and professionally experienced the effects of legislative changes in education. During the research, narrative interviews were used, analysis was based on grounded theory. Causal conditions, the phenomenon of interference sectoral management, intervening conditions (risk of anomie, the politicization of education, expertise versus bureaucracy in education management, education and support of school principals) and their effects on the central category were researched. During the research, the central category became school autonomy, and it's range, including the dynamics of change in the observed period, were researched. Motivační faktory ovlivňující práci ředitelů ZUŠ / Motivational factors influencing the work of the primary art schools' principalsKadeřábek, Antonín January 2015 (has links)
This work focuses on the motivation of the primary art schools' principals in the Region of Karlovy Vary, with the aim of establishing which specific factors influence it. First of all, I defined the factors that, based on expert literature and other research, influence people's motivation. Afterwards I studied how the individual factors motivate the primary art schools' principals in the Region of Karlovy Vary through questions in a survey. All principals in the region were surveyed. The data obtained was analyzed with the use of statistical methods and interpreted afterwards. On the basis of the obtained data analysis, I established for the individual factors how much they influence the motivation of the principals surveyed. There was significant or highly significant impact established for a total of 35 factors. These results were also compared with other research studying similar issues. The results mostly corresponded with four studies, and they differed from one. The results of this work extend the empirical knowledge in this field. They can be used as groundwork for further research or by the bodies establishing the primary art schools or other institutions that step into the work of the primary art schools' principals to increase their motivation.

The first, theoretical part, deals with the process of socialization which is broadly developing after the start of preschool education. It also presents pieces of information about educational process in pre-primary school related to the importance of the process of socialization in educational practice as well as in relation to contemporary personality approach and comprehensive integrated approach in preschool education. The main focus remains on the possibilities of educational projects in this area. Author abstract In my thesis I pursued verify the effectiveness of Ladislav Daniel's "Bridge book for 2nd Primary School" in practise. This textbook had the task to compare the dificiencies and gaps in the music skills of students 2nd Primary School, which become from the music lessons at 1st Primary school. I realized my exploration in the 6th classes of one Prague school, where I have been this year teach music. The status of the music skills induced me to try Daniel's "Bridge book for 2nd Primary School" and return the music lessons between "living subject". Before my exploration I had to realized the initial review in the experimental group and in the control group too, read up Daniel's methodology of music education, textbooks with its methodological guide and analyzed Bridge book for 2nd Primary School with its methodological guide. Pursuant these books I worked out the studing plan of each lesson with methodological steps. At the beginning of the experimental teaching students accesed the lessons very critical. But in a short time they became very active. They carried away new skills and knowledge from each lesson, which they could used and repeat in the next lesson and learn some new.
