Detta arbete är del av Metamorphic map of Sweden, ett samarbete mellan Institutionen för geologiska vetenskaper och Sveriges Geologiska undersökning , lett av Alasdair Skelton. Syftet med detta nationella projekt är att sammanställa tryck- och temperaturvärden för bergarter från hela Sverige för att få bättre överblick över Sveriges metamorfa historia.    Kartering och provtagning har genomförts i ett området väster om samhället Vetlanda, centrala Småland, i syfte att bestämma  tryck- och temperaturförhållanden för metamorfosen i området. Granatförande metasediment ur Vetlandagruppen, vilken är en del av Oskarshamn-Jönköpingbältet, har legat till grund för projektet, där mikroskopi, elektronmikrosondanalys (“EMPA”) samt beräkningar i mjukvarorna AX och THERMOCALC har gett P/T-uppskattningar på 604±15  ⃘C och 3.5±0.5Kbar, baserat på ett vägt medelvärde av 12 tryck-/temperatur-bestämningar, motsvarande amfibolitfacies.   Det undetsökta området utgörs till stor del av metasediment, med enstaka magmatiska stråk av kvartsrika bergarter och kalciumrika epidotbärande band. En regional NV-V foliation är genomgående i området, som har en simpel strukturgeologi utan vare sig utmärkande förkastningar eller veck. Euhedrala granater med manganrik kärna och nedbrutna andalusitkristaller pekar på en bevarad prograd metamorf utveckling.   Detta indikerar att Oskarshamn-Jönköpingbältet har påverkats av en metamorf händelse som inte finns hos kringliggande bergarter tillhörande det Transskandinaviska Magmatiska Bältet och bör således betraktas som en separat enhet, sett ur ett petrogenetiskt perspektiv. / This work is part of a national project called Metamorphic map of Sweden, with the goal to create a regional database of P/T-estimations to get a better overview of Sweden’s metamorphic history. Metamorphic map of Sweden is a collaborative project between Sveriges Geologiska undersökning (Geological survey of Sweden) and the Department of Geological Sciences at Stockholm University, led by Alasdair Skelton.   Mapping and sampling has been performed in an area west of the city of Vetlanda in order to constrain pressure- and temperature conditions of metamorphism. The project has focused on garnet-bearing metasediment of the Vetlanda-supergroup, part of the Oskarshamn-Jönköping belt. Microscopy, analysis with electron microprobe and calculations with the software’s AX and ThermoCalc have given pressure-/temperature-estimates of 604±15  ⃘C and 3.5±0.5Kbar. This is based on the weighted mean of 12 different P/T-estimations and places the rock in the amphibolite-facies, which is consistent with presence of andalusite in some of the samples.   The mapped area consists of mostly metasediment, with minor igneous rocks and epidote-bearing calcic belts. A regional foliation, striking N-NW, is apparent in an otherwise very simple area, structure-wise, devoid of any faults or folds. Euhedral garnet crystals with a manganese-rich core and broken down andalusite points toward a prograde metamorphic history.   This indicates that the Oskarshamn-Jönköping belt have been affected by a metamorphic event which has not been recorded in the surrounding TIB-rocks (Transscandinavian igneous belt), and should, therefore, be classed as a separate unit from a petrogenetic point of view.

Knivdådet i Vetlanda inträffade den 3 mars 2021 och strax efteråt, när det framkom att den misstänkte var utländsk medborgare, drabbades invånarna i Vetlanda av en “rasismvåg”. Därför var det vetenskapligt intressant att undersöka hur Vetlanda-Posten gestaltade knivdådet och gärningsmannen bakom attacken samt hur det inledande terrormotivet påverkade rapporteringen. Utifrån ett samhällsvetenskapligt perspektiv var det också relevant att undersöka Vetlanda-Postens dagordning, eftersom den påverkade vilka frågor mottagarna hade åsikter om, men även hur olika sakfrågor, personer eller situationer uppfattades. Syftet med denna studie är således att se hur knivdådet och gärningspersonen gestaltas utifrån det initiala terrormotivet. För att besvara frågeställningarna om hur knivdådet och gärningsmannen bakom attacken gestaltades samt hur det inledande terrormotivet påverkade rapporteringen bestod studien av en kvalitativ textanalys av 40 nyhetsartiklar från stadens lokaltidning Vetlanda- Posten. Utifrån resultatet av den kvalitativa textanalysen var beskrivningen av händelseförloppet saklig och gärningsmannen gestaltades på ett sådant sätt att skildringarna kan bidra till strukturell diskriminering och generell fördomsfullhet. I huvudsak associerades gärningsmannen med psykisk ohälsa och radikalisering, men i andra artiklar framställdes han även som talangfull och optimistisk om ett liv i Sverige. Resultatet, som sträckte sig från 4-10 mars 2021, visade även att det initiala terrormotivet påverkade bevakningen och att rapporteringen trappades ner över tid när det skälet dementerades.

The Work has been performed to, and in cooperation with Vetlanda Energi och teknik AB. District heating for commercial purpose started in the USA in 1877. Today the network has grown into big and complex systems, which demand maintenance and service to keep up the security of the delivery. When a district heating network expand, it becomes difficult to perform reliable calculations. For this purposes there are a few suppliers who design and deliver systems for documentation and calculation of district heating networks. Vetlanda Energi och Teknik AB is in the position where they must get a system for documentation and calculation for district heating, and therefore they need a basis to get a system. The target is to write a requirement specification that will follow the basis. The Swedish market has been inventoried, and suitable systems have been selected. There is very little information printed about documentation and calculation for district heating networks. Mostly information, in this issue, comes from suppliers and users. The systems and their functions have been compared to each other. Together with the demands from Vetlanda Energi och Teknik AB the specification has been written. The biggest and the most visible difference between the systems, is the structure. The systems are built on different platforms like AutoCad and MapInfo. The systems also make a difference in what way the functions are settled up. Some systems have all their functions in the same program and some other systems split up their functions and create different modules. This is affecting the user friendlyness and the design of the functions. The amount and kind of information that can be documented is about the same, yet with some important differences. Which system to choose is much depended on the size of the organisation. A bigger company with more staff and more competence can choose a more difficult system while a smaller company maybe have to pick an easier system so that the system really come in use.

Syftet med denna studie var att se om samverkansavtalet mellan Vetlanda kommun och Polismyndigheten i Jönköpings län har lett till en minskad brottslighet. Genom granskning av statistik visade utvärderingen att samverkan mellan kommun och polis är en central brottspreventiv åtgärd. Rent generellt har totalt antal brott i Vetlanda kommun minskat, men inte inom de tre av fyra huvudområden som fokusen låg på. / The purpose of this study was to evaluate the cooperation agreement between Vetlanda municipality and the police in Jönköping to see if it has led to a reduction in crime. Through different statistical examinations the evaluation shows that cooperation between Vetlanda municipality and the police in Jönköping is an important arrangement for crime prevention. Overall the total number of crimes in Vetlanda municipality has decreased, but not in the three of four main areas we have focused on.
