TITLE: Card-games for the 5-6 years old children in developement of pre-mathematics literacy AUTHOR: Barbara Kidery DEPARTMENT: Mathematics & Mathematical Education Department SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Michaela Kaslová ABSTRACT: Diploma thesis investigates whether are preschoolers able to play selected card games, within which develope and deepen the skills, that are part of pre-mathematics literacy. The theoretical part is focused on the areas of child development that may affect and limit the children playing card games. Further clarifies the status of card games in various game categorization, introduces kinds of cards, card games and how to proceed in games with rules. The practical part presents ten card games played with 5-6 years old children, a detailed analysis of their rules, organization of the various games, analysis of video documentation acquired during games and methodological notes for the practice. The diploma thesis deals with issues of teaching volleyball in high schools. It shows one of many possible methods how to include volleyball into the curriculum and into lessons of PE to the graduate teachers. This work strive for more systematic and concrete work of PE teachers in teaching volleyball, which should high school graduates encourage to an increase the requierements on the volleyball skills. In the theoretical part the reader is informed about volleyball as one of the sports games, with all gaming activities of the individual that brings volleyball and that students should be controlled using basic techniques at least. Main for the implementation of the volleyball match are basic options of hits, which are also described here. Some chapters also refer to the expected motion level of basic school and high school graduates. There is also mention of motion abilities. The end of theoretical part is about physical education classified to the educational programs. There is no specific request to involve volleyball in these educational programs. The empirical part is about the proposal of high schools education of volleyball. Volleyball teaching is divided into two grades, 10 lessons each. The thesis concerns practical possibilities how to work with folk-songs not only for building-up the musical skills of pre-school children but also for the influence of their overall personal development. The theoretical part describes the folk-song development in RVP PV, particular musical activities working with songs and this part also mentions the devolepment of pre- school child(e)ren abilities and shortly describes the personality of pre-school pedagogue. The practical part concerns how to work with the folk-song in practice. The concrete example (set of songs) shows how is possible to develop children's personality via musical activities. Songs contain practial topics according to defined aims, which are realised in the concrete nursery school. Subsequently are recorded children's reactions at implemented activities. This master's thesis refers to the use of video as a teaching tool in the subject Didactics of Biology. It comprises two parts, one theoretical and another practical. The theoretical part charts the didactical and practical subjects taught at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague, and deals with the use of video for the professional development of teachers. For the practical part, 8 lesson observation videos were recorded and placed on a newly created website (www.didaktikabiologievidea.cz). The observation videos were submitted to an analysis based on the 3A method and were used afterwards during the courses on Didactics of Biology. A questionnaire was carried out among the students of the teaching profession to evaluate the benefits of the videos for them. The questionnaire surveyed the motivation for studying Didactics of Biology, as well as the impact that these observation videos had on the performance of the teaching profession and the improvement of the teaching abilities. My thesis focuses on the problem on person with hearing impaiment in physical training and sport. My research is based on own experience as I am a hearing impaired pesrosn myself. After having collected the all the necesery data, the theorectical part was dividend into six charter. The first chapter focuses on hearing itself hearing impairment and hearing dysfunctions. The second chapter focuses on the issue of hearing aids. The third chapter is devoted to education and communication of people with hearing impairment. In the fourth and fifth chapter, sports opportunites and limitations of aurally weakened persons are analyzed. Last chapter is devoted to motor skills. The balance between healty persons and those with hearing impariment is described in the practical part of the thesis. A hypothesis is suggqsted and research results will either support or oppose it. The essential part odt the part the thesis consists in the results of a questionnaire and physical test applied and also graph processing. The thesis work includes additional affachments which are essential for further understanding. Title: Younger Junior Women's Movement Output in Handball with a Selected Team SCM. Objectives : The Aim of the thesis is a result analysis of SCM member's compulsory testing of movement output in handball together with considering the effectivity of the load. Methods: We used methods of analysis and comparison in our work. The method of analysis was applied when analysing each of the disciplines, and the method of comparison was used in the part where we compared the disciplines of the testing set, and in the part where we compared the members. The comparison was also applied in the part where average values needed to be compared. Results: We have found out that the influence of the training did not cause expected rise of physical condition. We have concluded from the results of the training set. During the two-year cycle in which we monitored the amount of load of the training unit the physical condition fell. Volleyball is a kind of sport where the basic individual game activities are considered very difficult. For playing volleyball well, children must firstly reach a certain degree of physical abilities. If we start too early, then we achieve an early specialization, which has mostly a negative impact on young sportsmen. Thesis title: Stimulation of strength, speed and coordination abilities in the ice hockey goaltender. Aim of the thesis: To describe theoretical basis of stimulation in ice hockey goaltenders. To design a model of goaltender's strength, speed and coordination training and to find suitable methods, means and forms of the stimulation of strength, speed and coordination abilities focused on youth teams and older goaltenders. Method: Qualitative analysis of document contents was used to identify the main theoretical basis of stimulation of goaltenders strength, speed and coordination abilities. Determiners of goaltenders' strength, speed and coordination development were described on the basis of deeper analysis. The main theoretical resources were finally integrated into a logical complex by the method of synthesis. On this basis the conception of strength, speed and coordination abilities stimulation could have been set up and suitable methods, means and forms of the goaltenders' strength, speed and coordination training could have been chosen with focus on youth teams and older goaltenders. In its theoretical part, the thesis "Postural Function at Early Age and Final Condition of Motor Functions at Preschool Age" summarizes the knowledge of motor abilities and skills, postural control and development, control and development of rough and fine motorics. At the same time, the theoretical part resumes briefly characteristic features of developmental coordination disorders, way of their diagnostics and possible treatment. Furthermore, it presents the most common tests used for motorics assessment and its disorders. Practical part focuses on comparison of results according to developmental kinesiology as an investigation method and MABC-2 test. There have not been found any statistically important relations between the results of the developmental kinesiology test as an investigation method performed in the first and fifth week and in the third month of postnatal development and the results of MABC-2 test performed in the same children at school age. Likewise, there seem to be no statistically important relation between the results of MABC-2 test in children playing sports and those not playing any sport, neither in the results of MABC-2 test in children of sporting parents and non- sporting parents.
