Janek, Michael January 2018 (has links)
Title: Conditional abilities of Czech ice hockey players in NHL according to the anaerobic Wingate test Aims: The aim of this thesis was to find out and evaluate the level of anaerobic readiness of selected Czech forwards and defenders playing in NHL between 2001/2002 and 2015/2016 seasons. The evaluation was based on comparison of the results in Wingate test of the research groups and specified standards of the first league (ELH) players. The other purpose was to find out whether there are differences between the results of the forwards and defenders. Methods: There were used the research methods of quantitative analysis including effect size. Research sample consists of the group of 26 forwards (mean age = 20.5 ± 4.4) and the group of 16 defenders (mean age = 23.2 ± 4.5) who have played in NHL. Results of the main parameters, i.e. peak power output, peak power relative to 1 kg of body mass, anaerobic capacity, anaerobic capacity relative to 1 kg of body mass, of the 30 s anaerobic Wingate were used. The data were collected from database of Faculty of PE and sport, Charles University in Prague and confronted with the first league ELH standards from the longitudinal research (Heller, Vodička 2014). The comparison was based on the mean values and dispersion of performances, effect sizes were...

Vliv inkubační teploty na kognitivní schopnosti a buněčné složení mozku u gekonů druhu Paroedura picta / The effect of incubation temperature on cognition and brain cellular composition in geckos Paroedura picta

Polonyiová, Alexandra January 2020 (has links)
The effect of incubation temperature on different morphological, physiological, cognitive and behavioral characteristics in reptiles is a well-studied topic, although the underlying mechanism leading to the differences between individuals incubated at different temperatures remains largely unknown. In this thesis I studied the effect of incubation temperature on cognitive abilities and the number of neurons and non-neuronal cells in the gecko Paroedura picta incubated at two different temperatures, 24řC and 30řC. The geckos were tested in two cognitive tasks with simulated predatory attack. 14-day-old hatchlings were tested in a Y-maze, while 6-months-old geckos were tested in an arena with shelters of different colors. After testing, the number of neurons and non- neuronal cells in several parts of the brain were estimated using the isotropic fractionator in selected individuals. Although incubation temperature did not affect the success in the cognitive task in hatchlings, it did affect the total time needed to find the shelter. This difference remained significant also in adult geckos. The number of neurons, which was used as a proxy for the information processing capacity of the brain, did not affect success in the cognitive tasks. However, absolute brain size correlated with success in the...

Gesellschafterkompetenz in mittelständischen Familienunternehmen

Neuvians, Nicola 19 March 2015 (has links)

Základní pohybové dovednosti dětí v běžných MŠ a dětí v lesních MŠ / Basic motor skills of children attending regular kindergartens and children in forest kindergartens

Krischová, Jitka January 2020 (has links)
The paper aims to examine how the specific conditions in forest kindergartens may affect motor development of young children and to identify other daily life factors that may have an impact on motor development. A test of motor skills was used to compare results of children from forest schools and regular kindergartens. The work is based on theoretical knowledge about children's motor development, motor skills and abilities and various ways to test them. A set of motor tests was compiled to measure the level of motor skills in both types of kindergartens. The theoretical part provides the reader with characteristics of both types of schools to show how the conditions may vary and assess the differences. The comparison of the results of the tests shows that natural conditions for physical activities in forest kindergartens do not lead to better results in motor skills tests. The parents of participating children were given a questionnaire and the provided answers were then compared with the children's performance in the tests. This method proved that neither time actively spent with parents nor exercising in extracurricular activities have a significant effect on the motor level development of children. Key words Forest kindergarten, regular kindergarten, motor development, motor skills and abilities

Ovlivnění rychlosti střelby ve fotbale / Influencing Shooting Speed in Football

Čáp, Ondřej January 2020 (has links)
Title: Influencing the shooting speed in football Objectives: The aim of my thesis was to record, evaluate changes and verify the effectiveness of the implemented intervention during the reference period in the development of shooting speed together with a rebound ability in a long jump in a football team which is operating in the 5th highest football competition in Germany. Methods: Quantitative research was carried out in the form of motor testing of a football team from a selected foreign football league during the autumn part of the competition. Two tests were selected to determine the development of the explosive force of the lower limbs. It was a specific test of the explosive force of the lower limbs - a kick from a one-step rhythm and a test of the general explosive force of lower limbs - jump. It was a so-called cross over study. Team was divided in two groups, where group A was doing implemented intervention in a different part of reference period than group B. Results: Based on the analysis of descriptive statistics, there was an increase in the statistics in the long jump and a decrease in the statistics in both monitored groups, while group A has the observations with the greatest improvement, but in the group B can be seen mostly an improvement across the whole group. For the second...

Medierande redskap i EU-undervisningen på gymnasiet : En innehållsanalys av lärares undervisningsmaterial om EU / Mediative Tools in the EU-education at Upper SecondarySchool : A Content Analysis of Teachers’ Education Material Aboutthe EU

Lindquist, Olle, Östebo, Anton January 2021 (has links)
The study examines the various tools and resources that are used by social studies teachers when teaching about the EU on an upper-secondary school level. The paper is based on the sociocultural theory on learning and tries to determine what abilities are developed in each material. In total, qualitative content analysis were done on 26 teaching materials. Four social studies teachers, working at four different schools have shared their teaching material with the study. The shared teaching material makes up the data for this study. The result of the study is compared with the result of previous research that has also been linked with the subject. All teaching material shared with the study about the EU have been in digital format, centered around a classroom and lesson plan where the computer plays a leading role. The teaching material used is mainly produced by the teachers themselves, with about a quarter of the teaching material obtained from external sources. The study finds that PowerPoint is the most frequently used resource, which is often used to introduce the student to the subject and mainly aims to develop the student’s conceptual ability. In teaching about the EU, there has been a large focus on developing the student’s conceptual-, analytical- and communicative ability. The result of the study shows that the development of these three abilities often take place in connection with each other and are to a certain extent dependent on each other. Conceptual ability is the most frequently developed and trialed ability in the teaching material shared with the study. The study finds that role-playing is a popular tool among most of the participating teachers of this study. The result show that almost all abilities are developed with the help of role-playing exercises, while at the same time it increased the possibility for communication between the students and for collective learning, which is in line with the sociocultural theory on learning. Like role-playing exercises, most of the analyzed teaching materials are rooted in or inspired by reality, which the sociocultural theory on learning highlights as an important aspect. The development of the procedural ability and metacognitive ability is found to a lesser extent in the teaching material, which indicates the possibility for teachers to let students seek information on their own and work more with feedback.

Rozvoj hudebnosti dítěte v batolecím a raně předškolním věku v rámci rodiny / Development of musicality of a child in toddler and early preschool age within the family

Macková, Terezie January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the family's influence on the development of a child's musicality at an early age, from birth to his pre-school period. In the work the author first describes the general development of the child and then the musical development of the child in individual developmental periods, because the development of music takes place inseparably from the overall development of the child and his personality. This description also includes the period of prenatal development. A part of it is the characteristics of individual musical abilities, the development of which can already be seen at children at this age. The work focuses on the influence of father, mother and siblings of the child on his overall development and development in the field of music, describes the appropriate musical environment in the family and the possibilities of its positive influence. The practical part logically follows the theoretical part and draws on the knowledge contained in it. It focuses on specific practical musical activities that can be performed with children of this age within the family. It aims to create a set of simple ideas for the development of musicality of children in toddler and early pre-school age. The author first characterizes the musical environment in her family and...
