Aktiesammanställare med teknisk analys och simulation / Stock collector with technical analysis and simulation

Gustavsson, Josef January 2013 (has links)
Websites today only offer simpler form of technical analysis and are not fun to use, therefore student decided to build a website that makes technical analysis a bit more fun by giving user possibility to experiment with settings for technical indicators and also see clear visible results from analysis. Student decided to build website in ASP.NET. Technical indicators for this project only consist of those who give buy and sell-signals via cross-over, no divergence or pattern finding. This project has three questions that define this project. It’s important that there is good functionality so that performing an analysis is perceived as simple, one question is therefore; what functionality for website is needed in order for analysis to be perceived as more simple?Technical analysis is a pretty complex subject and demands an interface that is perceived as easy to understand and easy to use, it’s therefore important that the interface is well designed, second question is therefore; how should the interface be designed to be user-friendly?When systems grow large they often become hard to develop and later on unmaintainable because of the accumulated complexity and dependency between classes, the code is a mess, the last question is therefore; how can the systems complexity be eased with object-oriented design principles?Jakob Nielsens ten heuristics for User Interface Design were used as inspiration for designing the interface for the website. The system design follows SOLID principles, some pattern-design were also used because pattern-design often fulfills SOLID principles or makes for pretty good solutions in regular code-problems.At the beginning of the project the student did a small research to find out what was needed in order to complete project. Work-method for project follows agile development where decisions were made on a weekly basis. The project was divided into three phases where each phase was strongly coupled to a specific area of responsibility. Prototypes for interface were made and used as a basis for the resulting interface. The project led to a working website with good functionality. Filter was considered as important in order to ease shaping of analysis because the user could more easily sort and pick stock. The student assumed that the user would want fast and easy access to their stock so portfolio management were implemented so that user could more easily get to stock that was considered as favorites. The interface follows to a big extent Jakob Nielsens ten heuristics for User Interface Design and is proven by comparing interface with principles. The same goes for design of the system, design is proven by comparing with principles, still to this day system is considered easy to continue development.Student made the conclusion that SOLID principles were very important in order for the system to maintain its health and took experience from these principles. Student became happy with the interface but more focus could’ve been given for a more interactive interface because it might’ve been perceived as more intuitive.

Medicinos internetinių paslaugų ,realizuotų ASP.NET 2.0 terpėje, saugumo analizė / Analysis of medical web services security, implemented using ASP.NET 2.0

Banaitis, Giedrius 27 May 2005 (has links)
Today's healthcare computer systems rely upon a disparate collection of legacy services, all developed separately and independently for patient records, radiological images, scheduling, billing, and administration. The Web is based on a client-server model. It consists of a set of servers, known as Web servers, which receive one request at a time and respond to that request without preserving state information, and a set of clients, known as Web browsers, which make requests based on user input and present results. Several efforts have been undertaken to address security in the Web, although the primary focus has been at the application level. These efforts have addressed the issue of protecting the privacy, accuracy and authenticity of transactions conducted over the Internet. In this work we will discuss cutting edge security tools in Microsoft’s newest .NET framework version, how to use and witch to choose, how to integrate them in medical environment, will see how they meet today’s medical web services requirements and will propose some methods to make securing of web services easier and more reliable.

Migration av groupwareapplikation från Lotus Notes till ASP.NET

Stridh, Frans January 2005 (has links)

Návrh a implementace systému pro centrální správu software ve firmě / Design and implementation of system for centralized management of software in a company

Kejmar, Jiří January 2016 (has links)
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the Microsoft .NET Framework, development environment Visual Studio and C # programming language issues. The practical part of the thesis deals with the Software management issues in company and the subsequent implementation of a customized solution. In the first part the practical part focuses on analysis of the current process which is based on defined requirements of the proposal for optimizing the processes of the central management software. This process is designed using a multi-layer architecture and includes a user interface on the ASP.NET platform, a central database SQLite, the internal logic of the system implemented using Windows system service and proposing a centralized repository of the source data, application scripts and installation records. In the second part focuses on the design and implementation of individual parts of the system. In the last chapter the verification methodology of the created prototype is introduced. The final evaluation summarizes the thesis, selected solutions and the results of the tests performed in a real environment. The created system allows the simple way to centrally manage applications in a company.

KORTAN, Michal January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with module extension in currently developing project called Time Project 5. Specifically, the Phases, Notification and External Interface module. The thesis is divided into four major chapters. The first chapter introduces theoretical background consisting of backend and frontend technology description. The second chapter serves as determination of customer's expectations in form of functional and nonfunctional requirements gathering. The major focus of the third chapter is on application architecture design of both server and client side together with subcomponents design. Additionally, this chapter is complemented by the data model and Time Project 5 application design. The last, and at the same time, major chapter reveals the actual implementation of mentioned subcomponents including further necessary support features.

OnBoard : Applikation för personalhantering

Wigström, Simon January 2018 (has links)

Web Services : A Comparative Study

Ekelund, Marcus, Larsson, Andreas January 2004 (has links)
This Master thesis enhances an existing library search system with a new dynamic web interface and introduces the ability to perform remote searches by using Web Services. The remote search functionality also includes the ability to compress SOAP-messages, this functionality is optional. The system is implemented using the Microsoft.NET Framework with Visual Studio C#. A library needs to store information about articles and we have chosen to use a Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere database. The practical part of this thesis describes the architecture of our implementation and the design process. The theoretical part is a comparative study between dynamically created web pages and static pages, SOAP-compression versus no compression, SOAP-optimization versus no optimisation and the use of Web Services locally versus local classes.

Utveckling av mobilapplikation

Grennborg, Marcus, Niemeyer, Christian, Svitzer, Andreas January 2009 (has links)
The company System Andersson is developing systems for controlling materials and production in industries. They want to add a new service, where parts of those systems are accessible through cell phones. In this paper we are investigating which technology are best suited for this kind of application. And then we describe how we are developing a prototype fort this application, based upon that technology. After investigating technologies such as Java ME, Microsoft Silverlight, and web applications we settled upon building the system as a web application, customized for a mobile environment. To build a web page which is readable by many different cell phones we use the markup-languages which are developed for cell phones. We put much effort in reading about the standards and recommendations for the mobile web, produced by the organizations W3C and OMA. It's also very important that one consider the limitations of cell phones, such as the small screens, their limited performance and their limited means of input and navigation. Finally we are very thorough in our testing on several cell phones created by different manufacturers and with different operating systems and web browsers. On the server we are running ASP.NET, with a database using Microsoft SQL Server, since this was a request from the company. The development is made in C#. We reach a fully operational application with the functions that the company has requested. We got functions for handling orders, changing jobs, supply management, listing employees, and more. We also got a class for generating and rendering of lists and tables for easy and customizable lists for small screens. The application has support for several users with a secure login function. We have also created a system running as a service in Microsoft Windows, which is regularly sending messages, in the form of e-mails to the users of the mobile application. The messages contain user defined reminders, e.g. that the factory is running low on a certain material. The message system is well integrated with the rest of the system, in which one can list the active reminders, edit them or create new ones. Overall this has been an interesting and successful project.
