21	Inloggning på trådlöst nätverk vid Umeå Stadsbibliotek / Login authentication for users and guests at Umeå City Library Eriksson, John January 2015 (has links) Examensarbetet gick ut på att projektera en lösning där biblioteksanvändare vid Umeå kommuns stadsbibliotek ska kunna logga in på det trådlösa nätverket med hjälp av deras lånekort och ett lösenord eller PIN-kod. Lösningen ska även ta hänsyn till gäster som saknar bibliotekskort och erbjuda dem en tillfällig inloggning. Den projekterade lösningen gick ut på att använda befintlig hårdvara vid Umeå kommun samt outnyttjade funktioner i de befintliga servrarna. Den framtagna lösningen har även testats och skulle inom en snar framtid kunna implementeras. / The goal of this project is to present a solution for the wireless network at the city library in Umeå. The new system will allow users to log on to the wireless network using their library card along with a password of some kind. There must also be a way for guests without library cards to be allowed access to the network in some way. The result of this project was based on hardware that Umeå already had access to, and certain functions in that hardware that hasn’t been explored earlier and offered a lot of potential. This solution was tested to some extent and could be implemented in a near future. 22	Unified Network Authentication for Linux / Unified Network Authentication for Linux Zůna, Pavel January 2011 (has links) Tato práce se zabývá návrhem a implementací řešení pro jednotnou síťovou autentizaci pro operační systém Linux založeného na integraci systémových démonů WinBind a SSSD. Cílem je navrhnout takové řešení, které umožní autentizaci Linuxových klientů do domén spravovaných adresářovými službami Windows Active Directory a domén spravovaných adresářovými službami dostupnými na Linuxu současně. První dvě kapitoly seznámí čtenáře s autentizačními mechanizmy a technologiemi, které se pro tyto účely použivají na operačních systémech Windows a Linux. Třetí kapitola se zabývá jádrem práce a vysvětluje rozhodnutí učiněná při návrhu implementovaného řešení. Samotná implementace je pak popsána v kapitole čtyři. Poslední kapitoly popisují experimenty a testování pro vybrané případy užití s návrhy a popisem možných rozšíření do budoucna.

Jsou rozebrána řešení v některých jiných současných systémech. Dále je čtenáři představen projekt pro správu identit FreeIPA, autor se zaměřuje hlavně na správu uživatelů a politiky pro jejich autorizaci. Je také představen projekt SSSD se zaměřením na jeho propojení se systémem FreeIPA. Po vytvoření návrhu řešení problému časových politik je tento návrh implementován do systémů FreeIPA a SSSD.

27	Framework to Implement Authentication, Authorization and Secure Communications in a Multiuser Collaborative CAx Environment Mensah, Francis 01 December 2014 (has links) (PDF) Computer Aided Design (CAD) applications have historically been based on a single user per application architecture. Although this architecture is still popular to date, it does have several drawbacks. First of all the single user CAD architecture inhibits a concurrent engineering design process where several designers can work on the same model simultaneously. This limitation introduces time inefficiency especially when a project involves geographically dispersed designers. A solution to these drawbacks could be a transition from the traditional single user CAD architecture to a multiuser collaborative architecture. Advances in computer networking technologies, especially relating to the Internet, have provided the needed tools to make this transition a reality, thus making it possible for designers to simultaneously work on geometric models from one or more networked computers regardless of the location of the user. This new paradigm is expected to improve collaboration and greatly reduce product design times and consequently reduce cost and improve productivity. The multi-user architecture will, however, also require reliable security mechanisms to ensure its successful deployment in an enterprise environment where protection of intellectual property is of critical importance. This thesis proposes a framework to implement authentication, authorization and secure data communications in a multiuser collaborative CAD software system. This framework has been tested on an emerging multiuser collaborative CAD system called v-CAx being developed at Brigham Young University.
