This thesis presents a complex of Janáček's opera The Makropulos Affair, covering its origin (and the genesis of opera in general), represents personality of Leoš Janáček from different perspectives and offers a didactic treatment of this theme. The work includes two layers - a theoretical and didactic. If we look at the text from a theoretical perspective, then here are about Janáček operas in terms of ideas, editing, production and inspiration of women. Further information on the general features of the libretto, practice, the role of stage manager, Janáček personality, his creative period, music and speech input field of prose to opera. Didactic point of view we see in the arrangement of this work and in quantities of information. The teacher can use the work as the basis for teaching, including the last chapter, which is dedicated only to the practical challenges and ideas. This thesis should help teachers, who want to focus on the opera or the personality of Leoš Janáček in the classroom.

ABSTRACT After the national universities in Taiwan implementing the college affairs funds, the expenditure comes from not only the government supply but also universities themselves. It¡¦s for the purpose of their needs on teaching, researching, and serving. In order to enhance the elasticity that the funds use independently and the competitiveness of higher education, it is bound to put more focus on both the managing and cost efficiency. This research adopts the efficiency-measuring mode of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to weigh the conditions of managing results and efficiency fluctuations¡]the fluctuation of Malmquist productivity¡^of 51 national universities in Taiwan from year 2001 to 2004. The conclusion of obtaining is as follows: From the aspect of managing efficiency, National Chiao Tung University and National Dong Hwa University perform the best among the general universities; as for the technological universities and vocational colleges, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology and National Chin-Yi Institute of Technology perform the best. The lacks of valid managements in resource usages causes the technical inefficiencies; the general universities performed like the technological and vocational colleges were rather similar and relatively inefficient from the year 2001 to 2004. The reasons of inefficiency came from the technological efficiency of bad management with reached the scale efficiency of the best scale at the same time. The Malmquist indices of National Tsing Hua University and National Taichung University were more than 1 from the year 2001 to 2004; as for the technological and vocational colleges, the Malmquist indices of National Tai-Chung Institute of Technology, National Taichung Nursing College, National Taiwan Junior College of Performing Arts, and National Tainan Institute of Nursing were more than 1 as well. There is a decline trend gradually of productivity in 2001-2004 in both the general universities and technological and vocational colleges, it was mainly that the production technology efficiency retrogresses. Finally, implementing college affair funds may be still affected by other external objective environments, the one of great impact among them: external parameters, such as size of the school, the history of the school, and the location of the school. Through the regression analysis, there are strong correlation between campus size and management efficiency for the general universities; however, not between history and location of the school. On the other hand, the technological and vocational colleges, do not have dominance to whole efficiency value. From the analysis, we can understand the over-all performing, efficiency of the universities in Taiwan. The fund governors should manage and advent different efficiencies with various methods in order to promote the managing efficiency of the whole. Abstract This research is to distinguish the Kaohsiung City resident by the level of their community sense from the view of social psychology. Due to the society changes and the high living density of urban caused by urbanization, the problems related to the collective life of residents are increasing. Besides, how much do they join the public event also control the success of promoting the collective event. This research is to discuss the community sense and the main effecting factor of different resident attribute and the issue of public event under the increasing of people joining the issue of public event. Furthermore, the suitable participation skill for different community sense and resident attribute is discussed This research expects to construct the suitable people participation skill while the different community sense and resident attribute faces the public event and take it as the reference for people participation in the future. The result shows, that the participation skill of different resident attribute and different issue of public event is clearly related; moreover, the high-low categorization of community sense and the skill of different issue of public event is also related. Additionally, according to the related statistics and analysis, the corrupt practises of current people participation skill are presented; the people participation skill that suitable for the residents of Kaohsiung City and the people participation skill that suitable for different community sense categorization are concluded. Furthermore, the suggestion of people participation and community sense and the comment for the later researcher is presented. Due to the National Immigration Agency going public, a large amount of foreign affairs policeman shifts there forward from local police bureau, hence brings about the shortage of local foreign affairs policeman in use. However, limited by the language specialty, it seems impossible to make up such a deficiency in a short time. This study aims to take an overview of the aftermath of this systematical manpower change, focusing on the specific influence which caused from the shortage of local foreign affairs policeman, and on whether the performance of local foreign affairs police in each city and country is negatively impacted as well. This study analyses the current performance status of local foreign affairs police in 22 cities and countries by means of ¡§Data Envelopment Analysis¡¨ (DEA), which mainly evaluate the efficiency of seizing related breach and crime by local foreign affairs police, and then probe into reasons of such kind of inefficiency if any. In so doing, this study might provide strategic improvement suggestions for those which have bad achievement. Based on the data of 22 cities and counties in 96 fiscal year, this study adopts diverse research methods of DEA, such as CCR, BCC, Efficiency of Scale¡BRTS¡BSBM¡BFDH¡BMALMQUIST INDEX, and then tries to offer positive suggestions according to the study outcomes, so as to promote the performance of those targeted districts.

Archives are situated as integral instruments in the protection of human rights within a Western context due to the European preference towards written evidence and bureaucratic systems. The thesis uses a negative case study to demonstrate the power of the record in affecting the human rights of citizens, but also situates access to the government archive among human rights.

We compare the features of drama and libretto, based on the text The Makropulos Affair by Karel Čapek (drama) and Leoš Janáček (libretto). We would like to show not only common dramatic features, but also the specific librettist features, which Janáček used by transformation Čapek's drama into opera libretto. We demonstrated, that dramatic features are in libretto at the level of structure and the specific librettist features are at the level of story, single figures and its constellation. The analysis confirmed the preliminary hypotheses.

En s’engageant massivement dans l’affaire Dreyfus, les écrivains n’ont pas seulement redéfini les formes de l’engagement, ils ont aussi mis leur plume au service d’une cause politique. Des articles écrits au cœur de la polémique aux romans inspirés de l’affaire, l’affaire Dreyfus est donc devenue un objet littéraire, interrogeant la frontière et les relations entre l’Histoire et la fiction. L’affaire Dreyfus a tout d’abord été une prise de conscience collective construite autour d’un discours idéologique sous-jacent. Les années qui ont précédé l’affaire ont été marquées par la genèse de cette bataille littéraire : la mise en place des discours idéologiques qui allaient s’affronter, l’émergence des formes de la mobilisation collective qui allaient servir au mouvement des intellectuels ont créé le terrain sur lequel l’affaire Dreyfus a eu lieu. Au cœur des événements, ce sont essentiellement les témoignages privés qui révèlent l’impact de l’affaire dans le milieu des écrivains : un mouvement qui a bouleversé la société littéraire jusque dans ses cercles intimes, dont la force de mobilisation ne laissait que peu de place aux voix dissidentes. La dimension collective de cette mobilisation a par ailleurs directement influencé le texte de l’affaire Dreyfus : dessinant entre les discours polémiques un intertexte à la fois idéologique et stylistique, les écrivains ont construit au croisement de leurs articles de combat une rhétorique dreyfusarde. Prolongeant cette vision littéraire collective, les œuvres de fiction ont donné une postérité littéraire à l’affaire Dreyfus au confluent des différents regards et sensibilités des écrivains / Through their massive commitment in the Dreyfus Affair, French writers have not only redefined the ways of commitment, they have also used their writing as a weapon to defend their political cause. From the articles written during the battle to the novels based on the Affair, the Dreyfus Affair has thus become a litterary object, questionning the frontier between History and Fiction. The Affair was a case of collective awareness linked to an underlying ideological debate. This litterary battle was born before the actual Affair began : the writers defined the main guidelines of the ideological debate and employed the means of collective mobilization, creating the background in which the Dreyfus Affair took place. During the battle itself, they privately expressed how much the Affair turned the litterary world upside down, leaving little room for dissident voices. The collective aspect of the mobilization has moreover directly influenced the Dreyfus littérature : creating between the lines of the debate an ideological and rhetorical unity, French writers have built this public controversy over common references. Influenced by this collective litterary vision, the fiction works based on the Affair gave it a litterary posterity at the crossroads of different sensitivities
